All that came with my amp was the amp and the cord to plug it in, am i missing something? Can someone list all the steps to connect to the moble app?

Hey just got back from the local Guitar Center here where I was going to trade in my Amplifi 75 for an Amplifi 150. Blah blah blah salesman told me that the Amplifi line had been discontinued due to communication issues with the app. Again Guitar center salesman. So as part of demonstrating that the Amplifi 75 worked I linked to it played music via Blutooth downloaded the app on the spot (new phone) and started editing the Amplifi 75. Long story short the money they offered me on trade in was OK (roughly twice what one of there 15% discounts would have given me off of the new one) but what worries me is that there hasn't been an update to the software in 2 years and if the product is being discontinued. I would like to know if this is the case (and I know asking in the forums is pretty much ridiculous) before I decide to make the plunge with the 150. The 75 works very well just not loud enough to use as an onstage amp with a very active drummer.

HELLO! I AM USING AN AMPLIFI150, AND THE FVB3 CONTROL PEDAL WITH LATEST VERSION (1.01.00), I DID WITH THE UPDATES WITH LINE6 UPDATER IN BOTH. I CAN CONTROL THE TONES, SET IN TO MY PEDAL IN THE BANKS, AT THE END EVERYTHINGS WORKS FINE BUT, ALL THE PEDAL BUTTONS ARE ALWAYS IN RED. ALL THE VIDEOS INTHE INTERNET SHOWNS MULTIPLE LED COLORS. IM TRYING THE AMPLIFI APP IN DIFERENT DEVICES, SAMSUNG MINI TABLET, IPAD, ANDROID PHONE, AND ALWAYS IS THE SAME, THE LED COLORS NEVER CHANGE ALWAYS ARE IN RED. ANYONE KNOWS WHAT HAPPENED HERE? THANKS FOR ANY SUGGESTIONS. REGARDS!!!

Has anyone ever actually tried a FBV Shortboard Mk1 with an Amplifi product via the FBV input? I realise everything says officially only the MkII (2) Shortboard will work, but given the only real difference appears to be a lack of a USB port, I'm thinking it should work? Obviously I would not be able to re-program the board via the USB software like the MkII. Thanks, M.

Besides the lack of color customization with the FBV3...what else is 'challenging' or 'wrong' with it? I saw one poster say the Tuner on it was absolutely terrible. I also read that patch switching was slow? I also read that FX/patches don't enable until switch release (instead of press).... Is anyone happy with this thing? The reason I ask is because I just ordered one and I think I'm already regretting it. I am in the situation where I might just order the firehawk FX instead because its the amplifi 'brain' plus proper switching, etc. for way less money than the Amplifi and FBV3 together.

I purchased the FBV 3 for use with the Line 6 Amplifi series. I have the Amplifi TT and added the FBV 3 to added foot control functionality. The device works GREAT with the exception of the use of the LED capabilities. The description by Line 6 is misleading in that the LED color functionality only works with a couple of their devices. Line 6 notes this in the ultra small print "Assignable color LEDs available for use with Firehawk 1500 & Spider V only". I am not impressed. Does anyone have insight into when this makes it's way to the top of the list? Cheers!

Hey everyone! I just got a new Samsung Chromebook Plus last week. The kind that has the Google Store on it. Fingers crossed it connects to the amp right! It didn't. The app worked. I could connect (bluetooth) to the amp. But the app didn't recognize the Amp. I did a search online and there was no support for this, so everyone else has it figured out, or no one has done it yet. Yay for individualism. I created a help ticket with Line 6 and we figured it out. Once the Amp is connected to your Chromebook, open Amplifi and Click settings, Device Selection Check the box for Show Advanced Routing In Tone Editing, Click your Amp That's what I did and it works now.

Two projects w the FX100 pedal board D/I pc via REAPER. One yielded some funky artifacts. There's a popping or something going on in "Don't Shoot". Odd because my other RECing "Beach Party" yielded beautiful results. All tones off the pedal board. Quite pleased w/the tones I built on both these projects. So, I just got the Amplifi 75 today, and everything works great - the bluetooth audio is pretty impressive and the bass and eq can be adjusted using equalizer on my android phone. However, when I connect the same android phone or the TV to the aux in, the output just sucks, like the volume is low, and everything is degenerated. Is this normal or did I get a faulty amp? Thanks much.

At 1:50 of this video, Sean refers to a "Mikey kind of tone". The patch he uses is called "Mikey Neck". What is a "Mikey" tone?

As title says, trying to emulate the tone I use in my DAW (using Amplitube 3) on my Amplifi FX100 for room practice. The tone I have on Amplitube is: PEDALS "Overdrive" (BOSS Super Overdrive SD-1) "Class Fuzz" (Roger Mayer Classic Fuzz) AMP Marshall AFD 100 (Slash Marshall amp; it's meant to be a hybrid of his modded #34 JCM with some Silver Jubilee stuff in there too) CAB 412 Celestion V30 amp Condenser 87 mic RACK Digital Reverb (rack unit) So far I've gotten pretty close. In Amplifi I'm using: PEDALS Vetta Juice - without this I can't get the punch that the modded AFD 100 has Facial Fuzz - Not exactly the Mayer Fuzz, but close AMP 1987 Brit Gain Silver J CAB 412 V30 SM57 angled 45 RACK 4-band EQ Chamber Reverb But the tone is missing that SD-1 BAD. There's a SHNK sound that is added to palm mutes on Amplitube that makes the tone super aggressive (no pun intended). But I can't find a pedal in Amplifi that will do it. Thoughts?

I bought the Amplifi 150 in August 2016. It would occasionally make a loud "POP" sound, and then the footcontroller would be non-responsive. I brought it into a verified Line6 factory repair shop in North Hollywood, and after waiting 4 weeks, they were unable to replicate the problem after leaving it on for a few hours. I took it back, and even did a gig in October with it. This week, I was getting ready for a bunch of gigs over the holidays, and suddenly while playing, the amp makes a loud "interference" type of sound (i.e., static noise). It happened as I was in the tuning mode on the foot-controller. I turned off the unit, turned it back on, and after 5 minutes, it did it again. I turned it off again - and unplugged the cat 5 cable to the foot controller and it eventually made the same loud sound. At 150watts, it's loud. And not really reliable for my upcoming gigs - rendering it totally useless. Anyone have issues with weird, loud static interference blasting through the amp? Maybe I just got a bad unit. No repair shop is open until the new year in L.A., so it's back to the Pod XTlive setup or my Fender amps. But I'm losing faith in the Amplifi system. No working musician wants to worry about their gear not working. (note: I bought the unit used, so I can't return it to Line6, so it's either repair shop or trash the unit)

Hi All, Looking for a second opinion before I return my TT for a replacement :( Bought it a couple of months ago, and have been pretty happy with it. I've been using it mainly for quiet practice, to keep the complaints from the other half at bay! Today I decided to try hooking it into the effects loop in my amp as I'm considering gigging with it and wanted to know how it sounded. So, having hooked it up with effects-send to input and effects-return to amp-out, I set the loop to be at instrument-level (rather than line-level) and tried it out. All seemed to be fine, first impressions of the sound were good. So I switched the TT off and went off to do other things. When I came back and powered it back up, I've got four flashing tone lights and nothing working :o Tried updating the firmware through USB, as per the advice I found on the Line-6 FAQ, the update says it completes successfully and the TT seems to reboot (lights go off, tone-A light comes on and flashes, tone-button illuminates), but then we're back to all four tone-lights flashing. Anyone got any thoughts? - my feeling is that it's broke. Wanted to see if I'm missing something here.

Just got a new Amplifi 75. All seems to be working well. Bluetooth connectivity is great (I'm using the remote on both a Kindle Fire HD & a Samsung Galaxy S5). I've got the latest firmware update, as that was done just after unboxing. When i look for the 25 banks of presets, only the four in bank 1 appear. Nothing else loads, and i'm not able to load my own into bank 25. It just tells me there was an error in downloading, no matter what preset in what bank i try loading. Any help with this would be much appreciated.

Hi all, New member to the forum here. I am the proud owner of a AMPLIFi 75 as well as M5 stompbox modeller (in addition to an obscene number of other guitars, amps and pedals! :-)). I presently have the opportunity to buy a Variax 500 guitar at a reasonable price and am wondering if there is any benefit to using such a guitar over just a regular electric guitar with the AMPLIFi 75? In other words, please give me a good excuse to add the Variax500 to my growing staple of guitars :-) Advance thanks for your thoughts and/or suggestions, Cheers, v281

Hey My Amplifi75 is working fine except for the USB playback/recording function. I've updated the amp to version 2.50.2 and have the latest 1.77 driver for Windows 7 home premium 32 bit. If I select the Amplifi75 as the output device for audio and play back an MP3 it has cracks in it. Also it doens't seem to use the correct sampling frequenty. It sounds lower in pitch. Any suggestions on what I could do to improve this? I was really hoping to use the device as a recording device at home. Kind regards, Thomas

I don't know what I expected, but I'm a little underwhelmed with the Variax Standard playing through the Amplifi 150. The VAriax Standard is modelling the sounds, but so is the Amplifi. I guess my question is: is there any need to use both together and What amp would you suggest using the VAriax with?

A few months past the warranty expiry and it quit working. The lights around the volume knob light up in any one of several configurations when I turn it on. Bluetooth is dark and unresponsive. Tone and tap are dark. I can hear it turn on with the normal "click" through the speaker but nothing works. I've tried the factory reset, no change. Anybody else have this happen? Any clues?

I've had a 150 since Dec 2015. It's been a pretty good amp so far, and I really like it. Just lately I've noticed that I have to manually connect my phone to it. When I power up the amp, the bluetooth light on it just doesn't come on at all. I have to push that button, then manually select it on my phone. A lot of the time I don't bother using it with my phone, since I have a FBV Shortboard MKII, but when I want to it's a bit of a pain to have to start fiddling with the amp and phone before it pairs up. Thoughts?
