Hello fellow audio engineering junkies!! I just recently downloaded Line6's POD HD500X software along with a patch that has opened right to 'Setlist 1'. I do not have an external Line6 device, however, I do have an Akai Professional MPK25 USB/Midi Performance Keyboard and just recently bought my Tascam US 2x2 Audio Interface to record with and I was having Issues with setting up my POD HD500X with my MPK25 midi keyboard. Is there a way to arm devices through Line6 or arm the pod through any other programs like my Mixcraft 6 recording software? I have a midi patch set up on a setlist, yet It Is not registering through my midi. If anybody has any suggestions on how to run and arm Line6 through various devices then I would love to know ASAP. If there are any drivers that would make this possible, please feel free to link It In your reply. I would like to start creating and downloading patches to use for my devices, but I need It to come through on them first!! Here's Hoping, Brendan

Hi, I'm just got my DT25 HD today. And I'm going to use the cabinet simulated direct out to my Focusrite Saffire Pro 24 audio interface, but I'm not sure which input to plug to, should I plug to line input or the preamp input of the audio interface? Thanks!

Hi. I need some help. I've been using podFarm for a while and seen some great results for metalcore music. Recently I purchased an ibanez ts808 tube screamer and removed my tube screamer simulation from my podFarm tone to see if it gave the guitar a more realistic sound. I was happy with the result. I am now looking to buy an amp head So now I have two questions which I need help on. Can I have a chain of real tube screamer -> real amp head -> pod, and remove the amp head from my pod farm tone to give the guitar an even more realistic sound, as the only thing simulated would be the speaker cabinet? If I can do this can someone explain as simply as possible the way to do it, as I am a noob. My second question is what is the cali diamond plate amp head meant to be like in real life amp heads, I have £1000 to spend and want like a real version of the cali diamond plate, any suggestions? Thanks

Hi guys, i'm new here, and i have a nice question.. let's start from the begin, actually i record using my pod hd500 + Scarlett 2i2 + Cubase 5 (on windows 7), i use the pod hd500 xlr out into the xlr in of my scarlett 2i2, do you think it's possible to record using the direct usb connection of the pod and the Scarlett 2i2 (which is connected to my studio monitors) to monitor everything? (usually i don't need to monitor my guitar by the audio interface cause i use the l/mono out of the pod into my amp for that, but i need to listen to the backing track!) On cubase i can do this only using the generic asio drivers but i have a very big latency, it's impossible to work in that way! I want to record using the direct usb because the signal is more clear and with high fidelity... Any ideas?? :)

Hey Guys, I'm considering buying a PODHD for live purposes. Im a Bassist (playing a BassPOD XT atm) but i have a Laptop on stage too, so i have to bring an Audio Interface with me too. So i ask my self if it's possible to have the POD HD output my bass signal through one output to my bass amp and the "dry" laptop signal connected via usb to the PA. signal 1: bass guitar -> podhd -> bass amp signal 2: laptop -> usb -> podhd -> PA I looked it up in the manual and the forums but couldn't find a definitive answer. If somone could help me I'd really appreciate it because it would save me from carrying lots of cables and equipment to the stage. thx!

Hello everyone, I am considering to purchase Pod X500, but I have a big dilemma... I currently own PodXt and there's one thing about it which is really bothering me - I'm unable to route guitar to different output on it while XT is connected via USB. Elaborating a bit - I want an option to be able to send fully processed signal from guitar to, let's say, both unbalanced 1/4 outs connecting to amp, and non-processed signal from DAW to the both XLR's, leading to console/PA. I want just guitar/ in my amp, and clean DAW in PA, without guitar mixing in. Simultaneously. Also it would be lovely to know if I can route XLR input to different outputs, say, fully processed signal (achieved by dual amping in Pod) goes to the same output as DAW. Is it all possible? X500 really seems like hell of a machine - XLR input, looper, MIDI, Audio Interface, loads of I/O... But it will be nothing for me without this basic flexibility, which Pod XT doesn't have. I made a search on forum and knowledge base and there was no answer. Please, owners of X500, help fellow musician out! :) Cheers.

So I contacted tech support, but as it turns out they're not much help. I'm wondering how I can start recording and practicing through my computer with just my guitar and Floor Pod Plus. I read you need to have a Audio Interface so I chose this one. "http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0023BYDHK/ref=s9_simh_gw_p267_d0_i1?pf_rd_m=ATVPDKIKX0DER&pf_rd_s=center-2&pf_rd_r=1N8X2BZD74TBM8T0K543&pf_rd_t=101&pf_rd_p=1630072222&pf_rd_i=507846" It's a Behringer UCA222, and it's only $30. It has some pretty awesome reviews on it, and I'm not looking to spend much so I thought it'd be a good Audio Interface to buy. I guess my question is, would all I need to start recording through my computer be the Audio Interface, my guitar, and the Floor Pod Plus? How would I go about hooking it all up together? And what cables/connectors would I need? More of a detailed description would be helpful, but I guess anything at this point will do. Also if I hooked this all up could I just put in headphones through my computer and practice playing that way? Thanks in advance!
