  1. Hi. I am new to Mobile POD and only got real experiences from Apps like JamUp, ToneStack, AmpKit. So far I use a App called iFile Organizer to play along over audio-tracks from my bandmates. iFile Organizer offers the ability to loop parts of a song and lets you decide the tempo up- and downwards. As the Mobile POD App offers similar features I thought about using these when jamming, but there is a big disadvantage, which seems to be the "import possibilities". Regardless to what other App I refer, all those others can be feed by using the "open in...", "Import to...", "send to..." feature of the cloud-services like iCloud, Drive and Dropbox where Mobile POD only seems to support the iTunes library as a source for imports into it's setlist. But this library itself can only be feed by purchasing tracks or syncing the music in your iTunes-Desktop library. Does anyone have a solution for this? How do you import playalong tracks into a music-setlist of Mobile POD?
  2. I know it's an old device, but I have a Line 6 Backtrack here that I use to record everything from voices to music, etc. I've had this thing since like 2009. The problem I'm having is that it keeps flashing its white light, and when I looked into the manual it says that a white flashing light means it's busy and unavailable at the moment. It's been like this for about 3 hours now. I'm wondering when I'll be able to use my device again. Anyone, help!
  3. Today I recieved my Line 6 Backtrack (without mic). I imediatly plugged it into my computer to charge (as directed). I let it charge for about 2 hours, then I decided to give it a try. I unplugged it and swithed it to the on position...nothing happened, the led did not even come on. I assumed it didnt charge long enough, so I plugged it in for another 1-2 hours. Then unplugged it, switched it to the on position, and again...same results. When It is plugged in and charging, the led is white, but it slowly blinks never turning all the way off and when the USB jack is connected I can see files and folders on the backtrack device What should I do?
  4. Hi there, I am new to Line 6 amplifi. I just installed last 2.50.2 flash release and updated remote to 2.60.1 release. I have tried to output backtrack or music from library music to the amp, but nothing happens, even when selecting Amplifi 75 as AirPlay device!? I certainly have missed something but I don't know what... Thanks in advance for you help.
  5. Haven't been able to find a thread regarding the Backtrack Plus mic products: So I used to use my Backtrack with my Windows, but ever since I got a Mac OSX my Backtrack won't work. It won't save a recorded file onto itself, nor will it show it when I plug it into the computer. I read somewhere that its a known issue. I have fixed the problem before by going into the system log and deleting the file that my mac keeps downloading onto the backtrack but everytime i plug it in again, it just reloads the bug. :/ For right now i just want to know what the file is called so i can delete it again, and then i will be able to record, then i can upload to a windows since my mac is gibing me this issue. i dont know what file to delete is what im saying.
  6. Hi i need help. I have Backtrack +mic, but there is a problem. When i recorded my first record, everything was alright, When i connected it with my PC light was white, but PC did not recognized device. It turned out window only with formatting options. I eject it and connect again ,but without changes. So i formate it and try eject and connect again, but nothing happened. It turned out the same window again. Now Backtrack can't record anything. It doesn't work. I have installed software for set Backtrack, but it's helpless. It's possible to reinstall or reset this device? Thank you for answer.
  7. Wasn't sure what topic to put this under, but I've had this Backtrack + mic for about 2 or 3 years now. The battery won't charge anymore when I plug it into my USB port on my MAC. It used to charge fine a few months ago, I haven't used it in a while. The battery is dead, but it won't charge. Upon plugging it into the USB port, I turn the switch on to the middle notch. It turns on with the white light, then it flickers red and orange--indicating that it's dead. Then it turns off. It won't charge even though its properly plugged in! HELP?! Does it need a new battery???
  8. The BackTrack/BackTrack+Mic was designed to capture and replay any moment of "musical inspiration" without the need for recording preparation to flash memory by sensing audio signal levels. Records up to 12 hours of audio saved as .wav files to 1GB internal flash memory. General Features and Usability Tips Pressing the "Mark" button designates what you just played as special and separates it for easy review. "Force Capture" mode available for usage of BackTrack as a regular recording device for planned recordings. Audio sample rates of over 48KHz not supported (attempting to play a .wav file at a higher sample rate than this will most like cause incorrect playback behavior). Audio is transferable via USB 2.0 to your computer or recording software for further recording, editing or mixing. USB connection recharges the internal battery to its full capacity of over 8 hours via computer connection or universal USB charger (iPod, Blackberry chargers). No recording when unit is connected via USB to computer. Available in BackTrack (1/4" mono input only) and BackTrack+Mic (1/4" mono & built-in microphone) models. BackTrack does not have stereo/headphone out; only BackTrack+Mic model has stereo/headphone output. LED Color Explanations "Off" LED Status (USB Connection/Charging): Red = 0-25% charge Orange = 25-50% charge Yellow = 50-75% charge Green = 75-100% charge White = Full charge "On" LED Status Indicator Light (Normal Recording State): White = startup & shutdown (solid) or busy (blinking) states Blue = Auto Capture mode Ready to capture (flashing dark blue) Audio to be captured (solid dark blue) Audio that will continue to be captured (solid pale blue) End of captured event (blinking pale blue) Red = Forced Capture mode (solid red) End of forced capture (blinking red) Microphone clipping state (on units with microphone) while recording (flashes red during peak/spikes) Green = Playback mode Play Only mode (blinking green) Purple = Low Memory state 30 minutes remaining (single-blink) 15 minutes remaining (double-blink) Yellow = Low Battery state Less than 1 hour of operation left (occasional single-blink) Complete battery discharge (light fades from yellow to red; rapid flashing) BackTrack Setup Utility BackTrack Setup Utility software allows user to adjust and save capture volume settings and record playback settings. BackTrack Setup Utility requires Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0 or higher. Backtrack Hard Reset Procedure If your Backtrack appears frozen or if the LED lights are blinking in a series of colors then performing a hard reset should resolve this. To perform a hard reset you'll need to manually press a small object like a paper clip into the small hole on the side of the Backtrack. The hole is located on the opposite side of all the UI controls (Backtrack) or on the side opposite the microphone (Backtrack + Mic). Hold the button down for three seconds and then remove the paperclip. The LED on the device will glow white, blink a few times, and then begin blinking blue. You have now successfully reset your Backtrack. Known-Issues: Mac OSX users: stereo .wav files transferred off of Backtrack or Backtrack+Mic will freeze on playback attempt from host computer's audio application and the BackTrack will not record. OSX file system stores extra metadata in hidden "resource fork" files that have a prefix of ._ in front of the .wav file's name. BackTracks use a non-Mac file system, FAT32, that doesn't support resource forks. Deletion of those addition metadata files should allow for playback of the stereo .wav files. BackTrack will not record while connected to computers to recharge or to use the utility software. However, BackTrack WILL record if conencted to third party USB chargers.
