  1. The microSD card must be either the SDHC or SDXC type, 4 GB or larger capacity, and initially formatted by DL4 MkII before it is functional with the Looper. Before using the MicroSD card for longer loops, it will first need to be formatted for the device. Once formatted, your card must include no other existing files on it (other than DL4 MkII’s own Looper- created data). The best idea is to just purchase or dedicate a microSD card exclusively for DL4 MkII use (and, since the Looper will only ever utilize 4 GB, it’s not necessary to use a large capacity card). The process for doing the initial format of your MicroSD card is as follows: WARNING: This process may erase any files you have stored on your MicroSD card. 1. Power on and turn your DL4 MkII’s Selector knob to LOOPER. Be sure the Looper is stopped (not actively recording or playing a loop). 2. Press and hold the ALT/LEGACY button while inserting your MicroSD card into the slot on the back of DL4 MkII. 3. Once the card is fully seated in the slot, release the ALT/LEGACY button when you see its LED start flashing through different colors. DO NOT power off or touch any controls on DL4 MkII while you see the LED flashing, which lasts only a few seconds. 4. When the ALT/LEGACY button’s LED stops flashing, the formatting process is complete. You can then use your microSD card with the Classic Looper or 1 Switch Looper!
  2. Q: I tried to buy something from the web store and was unsuccessful, but I got charged anyway. What's going on? A: What has likely happened is that you are seeing the results of an authorization hold on your credit card. According to Intuit, publishers of the TurboTax and Quicken financial software products: "...Authorization hold is the practice within the financial or banking industry of authorizing electronic transactions that are done with a debit card or credit card. This balance is held as unavailable either until the transaction is cleared by the merchant (also called settlement), or the hold "falls off." In the case of debit cards, authorization holds typically fall off the account (thus rendering the balance available again) anywhere from 1-5 days after the transaction date depending on the bank's policy..." If you see multiple charges on your monthly bank statement from the same web store purchase transaction, please reach our staff at www.line6.com/company/contact, or call us at 818-575-3600, option 2 for Customer Service M-F 8am - 12pm Pacific time. Q: I want to return an item I bought on the web store. Where do I send it? A: To return a web store purchase, you must contact our support team to set up your return authorization. Please reach reach our staff at www.line6.com/company/contact, or call us at 818-575-3600, option 2 for Customer Service M-F 8am - 12pm Pacific time. Q: Where are my credits?! I returned my software a month ago and it's not in my bank account! A: Credits that are made to our users are credited towards the credit card or PayPal account that was used during the purchase, and are typically available within 3-5 business days. There are a number of circumstances that may extend this time frame, including when the credit to your account was processed, your credit card company's internal policies, and if the card is issued by a foreign or domestic bank. Please ensure that you have checked the records for all of your credit cards, as we have seen previous cases where the credit was posted to a different credit card than the one you used for the transaction. This will happen if the credit card you used to make the purchase has since been canceled. If you still do not see a refund after checking all cards, please contact us to verify which card we have credited.

Line 6 Updater Open GL Error

In some cases, you may get an error when attempting to run Line 6 Updater for Windows saying "Open GL 2.0 not supported" This is due to an incompatibility with the graphics protocol in the Updater and your graphics card. You'll need to update your graphics card to the latest drivers from their manufacturer that support Open GL 2.0 In more rare cases, some graphics cards cannot be updated to be compatible due to their age and another computer must be used.
  5. Hey guys, I don't know if this subject has been discussed before, but I just wanted to know how many of you have tried recording both with the Pod and with an external sound card. Is there any big difference in the audio quality? Does it worth the money if I invest 170 euros for a decent sound card such as the scarlett 2i4? Thanks in advance.
  6. I got POD Farm a while ago with my UX2, but it has always had a bad sound. It sounds like it's being played through one of those little 9V-battery-powered amps, rather than a professional, high quality amp, even when the volume is turned up. No matter how much I turn up the gain (I've even boosted my treble to the max and cut the low-mids out), it still sounds like it's muffled, and it sounds really bad. Even when I plug the cable into it and it makes the buzzing sound that usually happens, even that sounds muffled. It sounds like I'm plugging it into a $15 interface rather than a professional guitar amplifier. NOTICE: I play different songs on YouTube that have the same settings as I use, and the songs I listen to there have a high-quality tone. So I'm almost certain it's not the speakers. HERE IS MY EQUIPMENT: -MacBook Pro (Mac OS X 10.8.5) PROCESSOR: 2.2 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo MEMORY:3 GB 667 MHz DDR2 SDRAM -Creative Inspire T3300 Speakers (They have a 1/8" input jack that I connect to the "headphones" input on the UX2 using an adapter) -High-quality guitar cable -Agile Interceptor Pro 930 with 30" scale and active pickups -This guitar is HIGH-QUALITY and has a very bright tone, and it should have one on POD Farm, but it doesn't. Is there a reason for the tone sounding really bad? Are there settings on my computer or something that I can change? OR could I upgrade my sound card?
