Is anyone else experiencing serious performance issues with the Amplifi app? It used to work perfectly, but I started my Amplifi TT up for the first time in a few weeks, and now I cannot get the app working at all. Most of the time, mine crashes while syncing after opening. Sometimes, it completes the sync, connects, then crashes. I have everything updated, reinstalled the app, applied firmware updates, restarted everything, and I'm experiencing the same issues on my iPhone 6s and 4 week old iPad Air 2. Line 6 support have advised that my Amplifi TT could be the fault, but why would an external device connected by bluetooth cause an app to crash completely? Surely crashes indicate a stability issue with the app. Line 6 have also suggested I reinstall the latest iOS update. Before I go through the upheaval of performing a restore on my iPhone, has anyone tried this and fixed the issue? I'm sceptical it would work. I am loath to contact Apple, as they don't provide support for third-party apps; a full restore is probably just what they suggest in the absence of being able to advise on another company's software. All reviews on the app store are from people experiencing this issue, but Line 6 advise that there is currently no scheduled app update.

Hey! I'm getting pretty mad right now. For quite a while now, my Alesis DM6 USB E-Drum kit has been crashing my Line6 Pod Studio UX2 and it's really annoying. I just play a bit and bam, all sound stops and the Level-meter-lights on my UX2 are off and I have to reconnect the thing. When I reconnect the UX2, Pod Farm doesn't work in REAPER and I have to reconnect the UX2 and restart REAPER several times until Pod Farm within REAPER works again. The only thing I have to do is to have my kit connected to my computer and be on and just hit on the pads a bit and eventually the UX2 will crash. I do not need to have Superior Drummer or REAPER running in order for the UX2 crash so it is obviously my kit and/or UX2 causing it. I have the latest UX2 drivers installed. Any solutions?

Dear all, I have had my Pod HD500 from new for a number of years now. Up until the last few weeks it has been working flawlessly. However...... Recently it has started freezing/crashing. To start with it would do it when changing between two particular patches so I figured it was something about the patches it didn't like. I reflashed the firmware and started again and everything was OK for a couple of weeks. Now it freezes when I switch it on. All the lights and the screen light up as they should, however none of the buttons work and I get no sound from it at all. It's also worth noting that the LED on the Tap footswitch is on constantly rather than blinking. Today I have noticed that while the unit is frozen if I start HD Edit sometimes it will come out of the freeze and start working, however then when I close HD Edit it freezes again. I have the unit connected to my PC via USB and also MIDI as I use the pedals start backing tracks in iTunes. Any ideas? Regards, Rob

Hello there, I'm having some troubles right after the 2.62 firmware update. (I did it today, the previous version was 1.30 I guess) My POD HD 500 doesn't work anymore, and everything was ok before the update. I tried to downgrade , but there is a communication error between the POD and the computer that wasn't there before. if I connect the pod on power and select any set, it crashes. And if I turn the Tunner on, a strange sound appears when I play he chords, and when I press any FS button, it crashes. Please, I need some help!

Contacted the support about 2 years ago regarding my secondhand Pod XT. I would be doing whatever on the computer, playing guitar, games, videos etc and suddenly the sound would disappear. Trying to change to another soundcard didn't work or anything regarding sound for that matter because somehow the sound was 'locked' or I presume, stuck in a loop... The support told me it was a hardware problem, since we'd tried everything else, and suggested I sent it to repair. I didn't though, I just kept going, only had to restart the computer when it happened so I didn't feel like spending money on something I'd pay 50 euro for. But now I have bought a new HD 500X and it is fine and all, BUT suddenly the sound disappeared... Hardware malfunction? Hardly. I've been checking some old forum post and I'm not the only one with this problem. So my suggestion to Line6 is that you gather as much information you can on this problem and fix it. I would start by checking your codes for handling the USB...

Hello, For a few months now I'm having this problem with my setup. I have the Tannoy Reveal 402 monitors connected to the UX2 via unbalanced PL connection. For the first few weeks I had the monitors, they worked great. Then, everytime I turned them on, the soundcard stopped working and crashed (no orange lights) and when I turned the monitors back off, the UX2 worked again. I replaced one of the monitors for new Tannoy Reveal 402, and the same problem occured. Then I sent it for a fix and they did find something, but the problem still occurs. I emailed Tannoy about this problem and this was their response: What do you guys think can be the problem? The UX2 can be on for hours but when I turn the monitors he crashes.

Hey guys, kinda at my wits end with this truthfully. I understand that there's been some Windows 8/Pod HD compatibility issues, so I'm trying to get to the bottom of this. Plug in my HD Pro via USB. Reaper volume reads about 50% no matter where the volume knob falls, even though the POD wasn't selected as the MIDI output for the track. Therein lies the problem, I can't seem to get it so the POD is available as an output at all. Updating the POD's flash memory to the current version (2.31) seems to be causing some intermittent BSOD errors. Either the thing is bricked until Line 6 rolls out new drivers/flash/whatever is making this such an issue, or there's some kind of fix to be had. I imagine the fact that it doesn't show up might have something to do with everything not being completely up to date? I did roll the flash back to try that, still no luck. Sorry if this seems a little disjointed, just trying to document my troubleshooting process. Has anyone here had similar issues?

When I use my DAW my pod X3 and HD 500 never have problems. But I like to use my X3 as an external sound card just for listening to music and it often crashes and I can't restart my audio, and the only thing that gets my audio back is restarting my computer. I posted this once and I got a bunch of links to other forums or lists of windows 7 optimizations. None of them worked or I wouldn't be re-posting. I was curious to see if there was a way to use the asio drivers when I'm not using my DAW, because they never crash.

FBV MkII Control & POD HD Edit Crash On Startup (PC)
Line6Tony posted a article in FBV Controllers (MKII / 3)
Q: I'm on a Windows PC. Why does Line 6 FBV Control or POD HD Edit (300/400/500) programs "hang" at the logo screen and never go past this startup splash image? A: Users who have "virtual MIDI Cable" software (a known example is: Hurchalla Maple) installed on their systems may experience a stalled state where the FBV Control or POD HD Edit program logo appears onscreen and the program remains "stuck" trying to load. Please uninstall your virtual MIDI Cable software application and then try re-launching the FBV Control or POD HD Edit program. If you need to have a virtual MIDI Cable program running on your system, please consider using LoopBe1: http://www.nerds.de/data/setuploopbe1.exe or Bome's MIDI Translator Pro: http://www.bome.com/products/miditranslator
