  1. Hi all, I have my HX Stomp XL set to snapshot mode. When I hit the mode button to change to stompbox mode the display does not change to show pedal names (only the footswitches changes color) and it still shows snapshots which is quite confusing while performing! Does anyone know how to fix this? Best, Nick XL_snapshot_mode.HEIC XL_stompbox_mode.HEIC
  2. Hi, this is Mauro from Argentina. After having some electrical issues on stage, Stomp's display turned white during the show. Turning off and on works but only for a random time that could go from 30s to 40m (after many tests at home and rehearsal room). The issue is only about the display, I had no sound problems at all. I also updated the Firmware after this issue just in case, but I can 100% affirm this is an electronical issue. Unfortunately, I don't have any trustable people who can look at it. Warranty has expired too (yes, one month after the 1-year). The seller reviewed and told there's nothing wrong in the unit because they weren't able to replicate. Here's a photo of the issue. I see this issue happening on many LED screens from TVs or computers, so I think it shouldn't be something too complex: https://drive.google.com/file/d/12KEMfg-FyCknNTX63CHyg5pdeMkiFrrL/view?usp=sharing Did anybody ran into this kind of issues? Any tips on which components should be taken in count for reviewing? any electronic plan? Thanks!
  3. I have happily been using my HX Effects every week for the last 2 years. Today the display started playing up. I am greeted with white noise on the scribble strips during boot up about 50% of the time, and odd graphical corruption on an intermittent basis. I've fully reset and restored my backup several times; this hasn't fixed it unfortunately. Has anyone got any insight into what may be causing this? Otherwise the pedal works fine and I even played live with it today and used the tuner despite not being able to see the screen. The power supply I've been using for the last 2 years is a Voodolabs Pedal Power Digital. Unfortunately I bought a discounted HX Effects that didn't come with a power supply so I can't swap it out. I am willing to purchase a Line 6 DC-3H but would appreciate any feedback first in case this is a waste of money and the corrupted display is a sign of permanent damage. Many thanks.
  4. MY SOURCE IS WITH THE LED FLASHING when I went to turn on my pedalboard, my source had a green LED flashing, as if it were a power surge. So my pedalboard also keeps the display flashing and won't turn on. Has anyone ever experienced this? or do you know what it is? quando fui ligar minha pedaleira, minha fonte estava com o led verde piscando, como se fosse um pico de energia. Assim minha pedaleira tambem fica com o display piscando e nao liga. Alguem ja passou por isso? ou sabe o que seja?
  5. Hi, 2006 Computer, Windows 7, POD Farm connected, Tone Port KB37, Reaper I connected HELIX to computer and installed the Line6 driver - Next steps : 1. Should there be a display of the Helix screen on my computer? 2. How can I have access to all the options (fx, amp etc...) of Helix on my computer? 3. Obviously I would like to record my guitar with Helix in Reaper (works fine with PodFarm/Tone Port KB37) Should I have to uninstall the POD FARM? What about all my songs settings? Waiting for your support, Thank you Alain
  6. Hello to you all, I'm owner of a POD HD500X, i had it since Christmas 2014. Still in excellent physical hardware conditions, majorly home-use. I've notice something very peculiar throughout the years, and is that the display has loose some "contrast" from its original parameters. For better understanding I attached a video showing what I'm referring to. In essence, the default LED CONTRAST parameter in the setup page 2, which is 28, On my POD doesn't look that great. Nevertheless, when you set it on the 40-45 range looks really great. Obviously I didn't perform a Factory Reset and no luck. I know some of you are maybe thinking "if your display looks great by just adjusting the LED contrast, whats the big issue here?" My question: It's not normal for a display present this rare behavior ¿its my display slowly "dying"? ¿is it a progressive issue where possibly the LED set at 40-45, right now present goog quality in the future will look awful, as it did one with the default led constrast 28? I'm not interested in spending on a new console unless this one gets faulty like a future bad display. Thank you in advanced, PODDISPLAY.mp4
  7. Hi together, I'm facing a problem after connecting my TBP06 (from the G30 set) directly to my amp Spider v 240. With firmware 1.05 everything is ok concerning the symbols on the display, left up the battery status and right up the wireless conectivity. When I switch to the newest firmware 2.00, which should be the "better" one, the display shows sometimes different symbols in the left upper corner. It changes, randomly and often, from the battery status symbol to an "amp symbol". See the attached picture showing both symbols. I don't know why and also I don't know whats behind the amp-symbol. Has someone the same behavior or can someone explain the symbols? Thanks for your answers. Andreas
  8. Been searching for anyone who has used the FBV3 in daylight, and how they are using it so they can see the led display. Works great inside, or at night but use this thing is daylight, and forget about it. You cant see anything. Its worthless during daylight hours. Anyone have any solutions or suggestions to this issue? ANY suggestions are appreciated, as I cannot find anyone that has yet to mention how they are using it during daylight hours. Please help if you can. Thanks
  9. Hi, unfortunately I recognized a display error (reproducable) at my HX Stomp. I see a black square or line instead of the values in the left corner of the device. Any idea why this happens? Best, Bastian
  10. Hi. I found some issues in my Line 6 Spider 240HC amp that probably have other discussions opened, but i decided to record them. https://youtu.be/67unAeUulCA In the first one, the display flashes when it's turned off. https://youtu.be/477VH-TT4W8 That sound happens when i turn off the amp. That happens sometimes using different IEC cables. https://youtu.be/Fy6RwlY-xHk This problem started when i changed my IEC cable too. Sorry for the sound quality, there is a clicking sound when i activate the reverb. I though the it could be caused by the cable, but they are universal and i guess that it could be produced by digital issues. I really like this amp but it's difficult to play a gig calmed with that kind of problems. Is anyone having these problems? Sorry for my english.
  11. So I got my HX Effects this weekend, before I did any updates I began to mess with it to get the hang for programming it. I use a small Midi controlled 4 loop unit for a few stomp boxes, so I tried programming that in. I was really happy how easy it was, setting up the default state in the instant commands, easy, assigning a loop to a footswitch, easy, custom name, easy everything worked great.... Fast forward to after I did the latest firmware update, everything works the same way EXCEPT for one small thing, when I press the footswitch the midi command is assigned to the custom name changes to the edit screen like if I touched the button with my finger to edit the settings and the custom name does not come back until I press another switch. Is this a setting I have to change or is this something that the new Firmware mucked up?
  12. I purchased a used spider V 120 through GC and had it delivered to my house. Upon arrival, i excitedly plugged it in, only to find out it did not work, no sound, no display. So I took it back to GC and returned it. The GC staff was great and offered me a very good discount on a new Spider V 120. So I accepted and took my brand new amp home. After about 10 minutes of playing, I was scrolling through the amp section, when unreadable text started running across the bottom of the display. Noticing this problem, I powered down in hope of solving the problem with a hard boot. Upon powering up, the display no longer works. The amp works but I have no idea what is being played. I haven't had a chance to hookup a phone or tablet yet to see if that interface works, but even if it did, I would want the amp display to work. I haven't found any posts around this particular issue as of yet. Does anyone know if there is a simple way to resolve this problem before I return the amp. 2 strikes for line6 at this point in my book. Thanks for the help. Bo
  13. This is a major improvement if you have a high-res Windows display (beyond 1080), the text in the old editor was microscopic (even with display scaling on) and certain features were overlapping or displaying incorrectly. First time I've ever been able to actually use the editor with my laptop while I'm playing, finally!!! Great work, thank you. Now if only they'd completely redesign the reverbs, I'd be a very happy camper. :D :D :D PS - Space Echo is AWESOME.
  14. Hi All, New to the forum having just purchased a used PODxt. My issue is after downloading Monkey and performing all of the updates the Flash Memory option is grayed out and will not let me update to the latest version of 3.01. Monkey doesn't seem to be able to ascertain what the Flash Memory is on my PODxt (as it has a dash '–') in the 'Installed' column whereas everything else is up to date. I have a feeling that this PODxt has never been updated. The PODxt functions correctly with all the original presets working but one of the reasons I would like to reset it is that only 25% of the LED display works and I was hoping a factory reset may correct that issue (if it's software based that is). I'll hook the unit up and post some pictures. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Cheers, Graham
  15. I'm running an FX100 paired to an iPad and generally enjoy most of the sounds and functionality it provides. The one nagging thing that I'd like an answer to is this; When I work from the iPad, go to "my tones" and select one, the tone obviously changes but the FX100 displays the old patch and won't change to what I've selected. Anyone have a fix for this? Much appreciated.
  16. Hi Everyone, I'm having a proble with my Helix, I don't know exactly when the display over fs2 switch stopped displaying content. Everyone with the same issue? I'm attaching a picture of it. Thanks!!

    Echo Farm Operation

All the Echo Farm knob controls are designed to be adjusted using a straight left-to-right or up-and-down mouse motion. Click on any knob and drag to the left or down to lower the parameter's value. Drag to the right or up to increase the value. For best results, avoid clicking and dragging a knob in a circular motion. TIP: For most knob controls, simply double-click directly on the knob itself to reset it to its default value. The Echo Farm buttons are generally configured for single-click operation. Click on a button to change the parameter to its opposite state, and click again to change it back. The exception is the Note button; click and hold on the Note button for a pop-up selection and choose the desired note division value. Additional model-specific details follow on the next few pages. 1. Echo Model Menu This is where you select the echo model you would like Echo Farm to use. 2. Echo Model Info Button (the question mark button) - Click for additional details and to get a peek at the inspiration for the currently selected model. 3. Delay Time Knob and Display Use to set the delay time, or simply click on the display and type in a numerical value (displayed in milliseconds). 4. BPM Tempo Display In addition to the Delay Time controls, you can alternatively set the delay time by entering the tempo (Beats Per Minute) of your tune. Or, click the little lock icon to the left of the Tempo title to sync to the session timeline tempo. Never worry again about your delay repeats falling out of sync! 6 NOTE: The BPM Display becomes grayed out and inactive when you enter a delay time using the Delay Time knob. Type in a delay time value in the millisecond box or tap in the desired delay time with the Tap button. Use the Pro Tools Plug-In Automation options if you need to set Echo Farm to change tempos to follow your music while using this Delay Time mode. 5. Note Value Buttons Here you can select a note value to set the delay time. Simply use the BPM Tempo display (or the Tap button) to enter the tempo of your song, then select a note division value from the Note button menu (click and hold on the Note button to pop-up this menu). The buttons to the right of the note value allow you to modify your selection to become a triplet or dotted value. 6. Tap Button You can click on this button a few times to set your delay time. The BPM display will then be grayed out to let you know that your delay time no longer matches whatever BPM tempo you may have chosen. 7. Time Ramp Button This button lets you choose what is heard when you make changes to the Echo Farm delay time. With a realworld tape echo, speed changes are made by moving a tape head's position or varying the speed of a tape transport motor. As a result, time changes are smooth, with an audible "pitch-schmearing" effect (yes, this is a highly technical expression) which is part of a great tape delay's magic. That's the experience you'll get with this button on. If you want to immediately switch from one delay time to another, without any audible pitch-schmearing effect, click this button off. This is a handy control to use with the Pro Tools Plug-In Automation functions, allowing you to mix and match time ramping and immediate time changes within your session. 8. Pro Tools Plug-in Controls These top panel options are provided by the Pro Tools host application for effects plug-ins, offering preset selection, bypass, automation options and more. Please refer to your Pro Tools documentation for details. 9. Model-Specific Knobs The controls that appear within this row for each particular echo model are designed to emulate the functionality of the similarly-labeled knobs, switches, and jacks on the original units we modeled. For each model, two model-specific parameters (typically the two left knobs) are mapped to the Control 1 and Control 2 items in the Pro Tools Plug-In Automation dialog. Within the on-screen display graphics, Control 1 is always the left extra function for that model, and Control 2 is the right one. For example, in the Maestro EP-3 model, the Bass and Treble knobs correspond to Control 1 and Control 2, respectively. The following table summarizes the Control 1 & Control 2 assignments for all models: All information is taken from the Echo Farm 3.0 manual located here: http://line6.com/data/6/0a020a3de280588aa57190e8e/application/pdf/Echo%20Farm%203.0%20Pilot's%20Guide%20%20-%20English%20.pdf
  18. I sent my Helix down to L6 due to a second incident of Strip Wonk. I've attached an image here. Has anybody experienced this intermittent issue? They can't reproduce it, and it has only happened twice, but I don't want it to happen in a clutch situation. I boot up the unit and it goes to the last used preset. The strips are either blank or have the wrong label on them. Note that the preset still plays and the assigned foot switches still have their active/inactive color rings going on. Just the labels fading in and out on FS 9 and 10 with differing labels.
  19. I HAVE A BIG BIG PROBLEM... One day when I was rehearsing in my spider IV, the display screen looked normal, well, nothing was wrong with it, but at night, damn !!! in the middle of the concert, I felt an emptiness in my stomach, my Spider IV Display will delete only half of the preset name it looked, and try the factory reset but no change ... what happened to it ??? ?? anyone can help me ????
  20. One of the backlight colors on the 2nd screen stopped working. So, when that color is suppose to be lit, it makes the screen text very difficult to read. Does anyone know if this can be fixed? Any info would be appreciated! Thank you!

  23. Hi folks! I have a POD X3 which LCD display was shattered while being delivered by a postal service. The POD itslef is still seem to be working properly however it's pretty unusable since I can see nothing on the screen. I have diassembled the POD in attempt to identify the LCD model, however after looking for it for a while on the nets, I couldn't find exact duplicate. (The only marking I've found on the display ic CGM12864. Maybe anyone has an idea where can I find replacement for this display? Thanks! Eugene
  24. On both Mac and Windows computers with a vertical screen resolution of 800 pixels or less, the Dock or Taskbar may partially obscure the bottom of the POD HD 300/400/500X/500 Edit software which is used to display the 'No Hardware' message. A workaround is to set the Dock or Taskbar to Auto-Hide. Mac:? Click on the Apple icon at the top left of the screen, then, select Dock>Turn Hiding On. Windows:? Right-click the Taskbar and select 'Properties.'? In the window that pops up, check the box for 'Auto-hide the taskbar,' then hit Apply, and Ok.
