G30 - constant dropouts
SardiSPb posted a topic in Relay Digital WirelessHi all I bought G30 on Ebay with tag "like new", well, it is true, it looks like unused, transmitter package was sealed and so on, but when I trying to play at home, signal completely fades away (from 3 green leds to 0) even if I cover transmitter with my hand! Plus if I hold transmitter in my hands and put it to my back, so I will be in between of transmitter and receiver (no front sight) and continue covering it with my hand, 3 green leds will turn to 3 red leds. I changed batteries, switched channels and modes (from RF1 to RF2 and back), moves receiver on a room, tested it on a little gig - absolutely the same, my G30 available to send signal for a three foots and only if there is a line of front sight. Even the piece of paper can ruin wireless channel. What can I do else?
Hey Everyone, I've been trying to get assistance out of Line 6 but it has been about as productive as asking a brick wall to sort out my drama's so I thought I'd give this a shot. Recently bought a new laptop (Dell Inspiron 15 7000) and for some reason whenever I open POD Farm all other audio is muted. I have the UX2 selected as the playback device and all audio plays through the device until I open POD Farm. As soon as I open the app all external audio stops and even if I hit play in iTunes or Guitar Pro there is silence. If I close POD Farm the audio cuts back in. I have looked through settings in POD Farm and can't seem to find anything. Never had this drama previously with an old crappy HP laptop. Basically just want to be able to jam to some songs whilst playing but it seems I can only have one audio source playing. I am using the Tone direct drivers and not ASIO4ALL. Have tried using ASIO4ALL but the audio doesn't come through as clear and seems like there is a higher latency. Anyone ever had this drama?
Sick UX2 Dropout and Crackling Issue!
slammer88 posted a topic in POD Farm / POD Studio / TonePortHello there. I'm a UX2 user like 5 years, which i've been gifted by my uncle in USA. Once, i had not any problems, while i was using Windows 7 i suppose. Then in time, some problems started to occur. Biggest one was -and still is- that, all of a sudden sound is gone and i don't have any option but to restart my computer. Either playing a game or watching a video, listening to music, all of a sudden, bam! Sound is gone and nothing helps but a restart! And it also randomly happens again after a restart as well. I started to have this problem in Windows 7, had in 8 and now in 10 it still happens. I did not change any computer part since then (cpu, mobo etc.) Besides, i've not got a second problem, which freaks me out often. As before, during any playback, a loud "white noise-ish" distort occurs for a second or two, then playback continues. This happens quite randomly, sometimes twice in 10 seconds, sometimes once, sometimes never. I've tried every driver i can, the oldest and the newest ones, tried changing the buffer sizes, buffer lengths, depths etc. What's more interesting is, this problems do not happen for two or three weeks, and the week after, it's an absolute nightmare! It's like, as if it has something to do with the days of the months! I do not overclock, my system is all stable and not overheated during even the hardest gaming sessions. I'm quite fed up with this problem. One day, i'll break the hell out of this device and post the images as an ultimate solution for the people who have such problems as well.. Please, i beg you; please help me!
pod x3 dropout circuit"SC 0930" can I get some information about this circuit?
Hey all, Took a while to solve this so I thought I'd post for anyone else hunting. Persistent clicking with UX2 on Win8 x64 (AMD A10 + discrete gfx, SSD & 16G). The system runs plenty fast enough, so I was surprised to be getting drop-outs & clicks in all playback apps, especially on basic activity like switching app focus. Tried adding ASIO driver to Foobar2000 & adjusting buffers, latency and bitrates in the Line6 control panel and everything with no success. Culprit in the end: the UX2 was plugged into a USB 3.0 port. Plugging in to a USB 2.0 port fixed the problem. Unsure if a particular controller was the problem (Gigabyte F2A85X-UP4 has both native AND A85X chipset and Etron EJ168 controllers). Bought a board with extra USB3 ports thinking I was doing myself a favour -- only 2 USB2 ports on the back panel -- jeez. LOL Anyway, fixed -- hope this maybe helps someone.
