  1. Hi, I've just tried to update my Helix LT via the HX Edit Software. Beforehand I had update HX Edit to Version 3.7, as suggested in the software upgrade guide. During the firmare update process I got a Windows bluescreen, and the message "Update failed, please reboot and try again" on my Helix display (see attached screenshots). Now I'm just getting a boot failiure on the Helix and a "No device connected" message on the bottom in HX Edit. On startup, HX edit tries to connect, though, and on the title bar it says "HX Edit - Helix LT", so the device seems to get recognized but fails to connect. I've tried rebooting both my pc and the Helix multiple times and also tried connecting to different USB ports. In the past, I have never had any issues with updates or the USB connectivity, so now I'm kind of clueless. I'll be thankful for any help, Simon
  2. Hi all I recently acquired a FH1500 and it performs as expected, but have come across an issue. When I adjust the Mid dial on the top of the FH and turn left towards the 9 oclock position, the amp cuts out completely, and the message "Thermal Shutdown" scrolls across the LCD. Sometimes, after a few seconds, the amp comes back to life, sometimes it requires a reboot. It only happens on the Mid dial (so far as I can tell), and at any volume, after any time. So I'm fairly sure it is not actually a heat issue, it's a glitch. I've tried the downgrading the firmware to 1.0 and then back up to 1.3. No change. Anyone seen this before? Any fixes? Is it serious?
  3. Error saving download file. Reason: (code 8000600B) Incompatible file system. Please tell me what this means?
  4. I updated my drivers today to the most recent version that supports OS Sierra today. However now, whenever I click to open GearBox the boot sequence keeps stopping on "Initializing DSP" In addition when opening my recording software, My interface lets me run outputs through my TonePort UX1 but is not picking up and microphone or instrument input data. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
  5. So today I go to get into POD HD Edit and the program tells me I have to update. No problem I think, and head over to the monkey. Sure enough, it says my firmware needs to be updated, and it can't determine my current version but wants me to update to firmware 2.10. I click update and that's when the fun began. I got this message: "Update timed out waiting for response from device" Well $%^... So I went through it again (and again and again etc...) and still, no joy. I downloaded a file called p18.phf and got the same results. Along the way: - It informed me my patches may not work and to consult some place for more info. I'm not far enough along to be worried that much over presets yet. - I tried saying DON't save the patches - I tried saving the patches first - I tried from the Internet - I tried from that file - I got REALLY pissed off because I wanted to work on what I was wanting to do, and not screw with computers today. I code the things for a living! So anyone have a vague clue where to go from here, short of ditching the whole thing? I am half serious too...my "regular" guitars, amps, effect pedals just work and don't require me to upload or download squat. I MIGHT have to change a string or a tube. Maybe. But I NEVER have to screw with a computer to get something done, ever.
