  2. lollipop you line 6... After 6 years i couldnt fix my Spider IV 150w... It just came with fabric issue, it restarts ramdonly and you NEVER EVER said NOTHING to your customers about this issue that SO MANY people had with their amps. (It seems like a Main Board issue.. Oh... The brain of the amp...) And so many people just take it back, but i couldnt do that because i bought it in USA when i was traveling, but im from Venezuela, so, take back the amp to store or to the technical support was more expensive than the amp. Really, just lollipop you... I'll never buy anything Line 6 in my lollipoping entire life, and i'll say it to every guitarist i know... I bought your lollipoping publicity, your digital lollipop and lights, but not an amp... Just got my new FENDER BLUES JR 15w TUBE AMP months ago and let me tell you, it was cheaper (500$) and IT IS lollipopING AWESOME, sound A LOOOOOOT BETTER and its loud as lollipop If you are reading this, and looking for an amp... DONT BUY line6 amps if you want to be a serious guitarist, dont let them mesmerize with all their desing and lollipop... if you have a budget, and want an amp for LIFETIME, really, just look for another options. Out there you can find awesome solid state or tube amps for the same price (or even cheaper). Thanks for stole my lollipoping money (Spider IV 150w + Fbv Shortboard MKII = 700$ 6 years ago), and goodbye line6 forum
  3. Does the FBV Express MKII work with the rack-mount POD HD PRO X to capture presets? I am primarily bass, so maybe 2-3 head, cabinet, effects combo presets as well as rhythm guitar with another 2-3 combo presets through the A-D pedal toggles after getting the settings in the POD HD PRO X. I would be using the volume/wha primarily as volume. Greatly appreciate any experience insight. ttrenchj
  4. Hi everyone.. I had a Line 6 Spider Valve 212, and when i plug in FBV2 footswitch its delay when i want to switch betwen chanels, and after that it changes randomly... I tried FBV2 on other Line 6 amp and it worked correct... Please help if you now something becouse i have some gig for about 10 days so i realy need help... Thanks...
  5. I recently got an Amplifi 150 and it came with the FBV shortboard MKII. When I step on the foot switch buttons it won't switch the tone until the button is released. On other amps I own it engages the effects as soon as the button is pressed down not when the button is released. Everything in the monkey says the FBV is up to date and the Amplifi is too. Any ideas? Thanks
  6. I purchased a FBV Shortboard MKII today for my LD300 bass amp. Works splendid, except for 1 thing: I cant go back to manual mode, using the shortboard. The amp's manual says that i need to keep the active preset pressed until the amp goes into manual mode, but that doesnt happen. I also tried to tap it once, keep it pressed, but nothing works. What am i doing wrong? btw, Shortboard has the latest firmware loaded.
  7. I have a Spider IV 120 and a FBV Shortboard MKII. The FBV is connected to my computer via USB and I'm using the Line 6 FBV Control software. I want to assign the built in expression pedal that is typically controlling volume on my Spider or the external expression pedal "PEDAL 2" to whatever it is that controls the "FX3" "Mix" parameter on the Spider. In other words, I want to control the level of the mix parameter on the delay effect via one of those continuous controllers. I see things in the list like "002 - Breath Control" and "080 General Control 8", but which one of those things controls that delay mix parameter, and where do I look that up for the Spider IV 120? See attached screenshot. Thanks in advance for any help you offer!
  8. Hi guys, I have googled this problem and scanned the forums and have not seen any solutions. What I want to do is be able to change the ABCD on my pedals in the banks to my own settings. Example: I want to play tool lateralus. (bank1) A) intro B)course C)solo ect. but then switch to bank 2 for the next song. I guess the problem is I do not want the presets that are already in place, I would like to alter them to fit my own playstyle. I cannot plug in the spider jam to my computer as it physically just cant do that. So I am all out of ideas.
  9. I assigned my FBV pedal (Exp2) to a delay feedback block with a minimum value and maximum value. Now when I choose that patch, I can add more delay feedback with the pedal. However, it seems to be active as soon as I hit the patch. Sometimes this is not appropriate depending on where the pedal happens to be at the time. I'm having to bring the pedal back to minimum for the default setting while playing that patch. I'd like to avoid that extra 'step' (see what I did there?) Is there a way to tell the patch to keep the default delay feedback setting I programmed it with, UNLESS I start using the pedal?
  10. Hi all I'm not sure if this is the right category to post this topic, but here goes.. I've got a spider valve 112 MKii and an FBV shortboard mkII. I also have the UX2 sound card which I use with pod farm 2 software. Now I use the shortboard to do all the good things I can do with the Spider Valve, but I also want to use it as a controller for the pod farm. I've read the FBV manual and I've seen I can do that and also save setting patches for the FBV. My question is this, if I connect the FBV to my computer and farm2, change settings and save a patch and then unplug everything and plug the FBV to the Spider Valve, will it work as before? Or do I have to save a special patch for the SV somewhere and load it everytime I want to use it with my amp? I guess whatever the answer is, the same would be true for the FBV Express mkii, right? Thanks in advance!!
  11. Hi Everyone, I'm seriously considering to buy the Amplifi 75 and also the FBV Shortboard MKII. I've been reading the threads here and I must say I don't feel confident enough to buy them because I don't have a service center or anything nearby I can return them to. Once I buy them, they are with me for life. As I read, after the 2.x firmware update, Android can control the Amplifi as well. Could you tell me anything about this? Are there connectivity issues or anything else? How has been your experience so far? I have an Android phone (Xiaomi MI3), I'm hoping this will work with it but ideally I'd like to use my Microsoft Surface Pro 3 with an Android emulator running on it to emulate a tablet. Or is there another way to control it from Windows (10)? Are there any major differences between the phone and tablet version of the app? Despite all the problems people are experiencing, are they worth to buy? Thank you in advance. Cheers!
  12. Hello, I recently purchased a FBV Mk II to go with my Spider IV 15 watt amp. My computer does connect just fine to the board via the USB interface, however none of my adjustments on the computer that I save seem to affect the FBV at all. Suggestions? Help? Thank you <3
  13. Hi We are using our DAW (reaper) to change presets on our POD HD Pro and POD HD Pro X through MIDI during our live performances. Now we would like to add some looper-functions and give us the ability to get the sound of 3 guitars simultaneously which would be awesome! I've found all the looper MIDI-values necessary i the manual but from what I've understood you can only access "Looper-Mode" when having a FBV-pedal connected int the POD?! Is this correct? In that case, is there any workaround? It would truly sting if we were forced to buy a FBV just to be able to use the looper-function since we'r already using MIDI to control everything else..
  14. Hi I have a line 6 vetta 2 whose output section stopped working while in storage. Anyways I just bought pod farm 2.5 with the studio ux1 interface and I was wondering if there was any way that I could use the long floorboard from the vetta with pod farm?? I don't know how the hookups work I just know that it uses something like a cat 5 Ethernet cable to transmit and receive information. Any help is appreciated. Thank you
  15. What's the difference between the 'FBV Express MKII' & the old one 'FBV Express' , beside the USB thing? is there any perfomance differences? (like maybe MKII can change patches [A B C D] faster & smoother than the old one ; the MKII pedal has more responsive ; etc) I just got the old one, 'FBV Express' & it worked well with my POD HD Pro X Do I need to get the new one (MKII) ?
  16. Hello there, Recently started playing in a band and bought an old Vetta 1 simply for sound and the FX and pedalboard. I have flashed 1.03 works fine except can't get the Vol and Pedal 1 to work as they should. IOW Select any amp and Vol does not work and neither the Expression pedal. Strange enough there are some presets where either of them works OK.. Any suggestions? Tried almost everything and getting a bit stressed. Pretty OK with s/w, flash, parameters and programming. Hopefully there is a simple solution out there. Thanks.
  17. I picked up a Spider IV 30 and a FBV Shortboard MKI. Can I make them work together or have I wasted some money? Where can I get a manual for the FBV Shortboard MkI, they don't have them on the Line 6 webpage? Thanks for any info you can supply me. David
  18. Hey all, I've got a cracked LCD on my FBV (longboard) that goes with my Vetta II. Does anyone know where I can get a replacement LCD? I know that Full Compass sells replacement Line6 parts... but, they don't have a listing for the FBV LCD specifically. A model number would be a big help. Any help would be appreciated.
  19. I just picked up a Flextone III XL and a new FBV Shortboard MKII (great combo btw, I love it). It looks like everything is laid out all the same as the standard FBV Shortboard, except it would seem Function 1 now controls the FX loop on/off, and Stomp controls the Compressor. What does Function 2 do? I've read an old post that says it does nothing, but there are Line 6 default presets that light up Function 2 when I switch to them and other presets that turn the light off when I switch to them. Only a few of the presets I have tweaked on the Flextone itself, and none of them were tweaked while the shortboard was connected as I just got it last night. So it would seem it does SOMETHING, but I can't find any info on it. Just to cover all my bases, the Shortboard MKII had the latest firmware out of the box, and the "new to me" Flextone III was re-flashed with the latest 1.10 firmware along with an A+D factory reset before I started playing with it to make sure it was as "factory fresh" as possible. Thanks for any help!
  20. So I have been using the FBV Express MKII with a Spider IV 30w amplifier for about 7 months without any issues I tried to connect it with my pc (without sucess for not having the right software installed I think) and nothing went wrong. The leds were lit when connected to the pc, but just as I tried it again on the amp nothing happened. I still get that 'click' whenever I plug it in but it seems to be dead. I've tried to restart my pc so it could recognize the unit, but it just doesn't happen anymore Are there any obvious solutions for this issue? I'll be needing the pedal for the next week so please, I need to get help as soon as possible Thank you
  21. Surely its time now for a new FBV pedalboard. Colour coding. Nice big display for the names. don't need any controls anymore just the expression pedal and the footswitches. link to the amplifi TT or whatever......use the iPad for everything else. or how about a bluetooth one?
  22. So I just got the FBV Shortboard MkII a couple of days ago and I've figured most of it out but I can not for the life of me figure how to get the tap tempo to work with a delay that I have on my Pod Hd Pro X. I've figured out how to assign certain effects to my shortboard but I just can't get the tap tempo to work. Thanks in advance for anyones help!
  23. hi, my fbv express stopped working after i updated the software on monkey. at first it started slashing when i plugged it into the amp and it made a loud noise, now it wont turn on at all when plugged into either the amp or my computer. can any one help?
  24. Hello everyone I recently bought an fbv shortboard for my pod hd pro. Unfortunately, when plugging the shortboard in to my pod, it simply isn't being detected at all. No lights, no functions. I then hooked it up to my computer via USB were it was detected. I updated all drivers and flash via line 6 monkey. I couldnt find any help on the internet on how to get the fbv to work with the pod! This is really really disappointing. However, I then plugged the shortboard into to VARIAX input of my pod (I know this is not were it goes, but i needed to find out, whether the cable worked at all) and the shortboard was detected, but i simply couldnt do anything with it. Would someone please tell me, what I am doing wrong? P.S. I tried calibrating the pedal and that wont work (via USB to computer) either.
  25. hello my AMP is Line 6 Spider IV I have noticed that it has FBV pedal input which is same as LAN cable... I was thinking is there any way to switch between channels via computer? any software or any other way? computer can communicate via LAN port and send packets... there will be some way to give AMP order to switch channels
