  1. is it possible to apply the global EQ only to one of the outputs. e.g the 1/4" and not on XLR. My FRFR needs a bit of Global EQ compared to Headphones or Studio Monitors. But I dont want to apply this corrections to the FoH.
  2. I am trying to figure out whether or not I should be using the global eq and high and low pass filters while recording out of my cabinet. Should I turn it off and leave it bright and hissy then add HP LP filters in Cubase? or leave it on and add more HP LP filters? Same goes for Compressors in Helix, that is what I am trying to figure out. Or is it based on taste. I only have the Global on in a Live Jam session setting, recording is a different story even my patches need to be dialed in differently to sound better in the daw. Here is my signal path Guitar>Helix Rack>Mesa 50/50 power amp>Mesa Cabinet>Mics>Yamaha Mixer>Focusrite Interface>Cubase 10 Artist No I do not use Impulse Responses (haven't learned) or DI Box. I play Metal
  3. Hey Guys, Today I answer a question I've received a few times, Do I use global EQ settings with the Line 6 Helix? Short answer, yes. I go over what I do, the settings I use, and why.
  4. HD 500X Global EQ does not affect USB recording? Today I accidentally discovered that whatever settings I did not do, it does not affect the recording in my DAW. Is it just me having such a problem or so conceived? In the headphones all okay, EQ works.
  5. Just curious - does the global eq affect the eq output of the headphones output?
  6. Anyone remember or know what the default setting for the HD500 global eq was? I should've made a note of it before I started changing it, lol. No real big deal really but it would be nice to know what it was. I suppose a global reset would bring it back though. Thanks for any help!
