  1. Helix Native requires an internet connection to initially authorize the license both for the demo and full versions. Once the license has been authorized, you no longer need an internet connection to use the software. But, because of how the authorization works, you do need an NIC (Network Interface Controller) enabled. Do not disable your network card (wireless or LAN) when running Helix Native. If you want run without an internet connection, just unplug your LAN cable or disconnect from your WiFi network.
  2. I apologize if this has already been answered elsewhere. I see that Helix hardware owners get a pretty substantial discount on Native. Will a similar discount be offered if you buy Native and then subsequently but a floor or rack unit? I've been considering buying Helix hardware, but thought I might start with Native.
  3. Hello all! I recently downloaded the new Helix Native plugin through Sweetwater for the 14 day free-trial. I logged into my Line 6 account through the VST, but when I go to "Authorize This Computer", I get the message referenced in the title, along with the message "Your account has reached the limit of computer authorizations for Helix Native. Please sign into your Line 6 account to manage your computer authorizations.". So I went into my license manager, Helix native is not listed there. Only my computer, my UX2, and Pod Farm are shown. I went to my account on the line 6 website but it wasn't listed under Authorizations either. Restarted computer, etc, no luck. Anyone else having this problem or know how to help?
  4. Sounds amazing and it's so easy to use, the blocks are simple to place and I've been using it with soft synths as well. So pleased, well done Line 6!

    Coming soon...

Any idea when soon will be?
  6. Here's my calculation and explanation/guess for the delay for when HELIX Native getting released: It is due to the HELX Editor gaining a new look and features which will be in all respects but the DSP and audio engine - almost identical to HELIX Native. Why ? for the simple reason of keeping software consistent, in sync- ensuring as little duplication of effort - and of course to minimise software maintenance issues. But my other prediction is that - since we normally see the HELIX editor updated for every firmware release - L6 are going to make the occasion of the release of HELIX Native also the occasion of the release of whatever the next release of HELIX firmware contains. I also predict that the next firmware release will be....... Version 3.0 :) Anyone want to send me a bottle of Lagavulin if I prove to be correct ? :) Now as to what is in the next FW release I have no clue or ideas. Only my own ( IdeaScaled ) wishlist ;) ( MIDI-CONTROLLER Block where all footswitches become MIDI pedal ) https://line6.ideascale.com/a/idea-v2/802355 Presets for each effect type block https://line6.ideascale.com/a/idea-v2/870115 HELIX Editor: Show every snapshot as 8 separate buttons - not a drop-down https://line6.ideascale.com/a/idea-v2/864575
  7. The upcoming Helix Native plugin looks very cool, and I see it will be offered in the typical array of formats: "Compatible with AAX, AU, and VST3 platforms" Is there any hope the Line 6 devs will include a native Linux VST3 plugin build, given Steinberg's release of the VST SDK with Linux support? http://cdm.link/2017/03/steinberg-brings-vst-linux-good-things/ https://github.com/steinbergmedia/vst3sdk Similarly, any plans for an LV2 build if not a native VST3 build? The combination of the Helix Native plugin with Linux Native DAW applications (Bitwig, Ardour, Renoise, etc.) would be pretty killer.
