I noticed the option of don't force is gone from the Helix Variax model selection of the input configuration. It's been there since the beginning, now just gone on the new fw 2.60. Is this a bug, or by design. If by design, why? I mostly use my JTV mags, but when I turn on the models manually, want it to be on the last one used. Also by always being forced to a certain model puts it in that model's bank with switching. You have to move the model knob to get back to where you intended to be. Any others noticed this?

I was jamming to some tracks the last couple of days, and a lot of the artists I am into (Alter Bridge, Evanescence, etc.) have a full sound with doubled guitar tracks. I woke up this morning on a mission to do this for myself. Using Evanescence Going Under as a go-by, I messed around with dual signal paths with delays, phasing, etc. I just wasn't getting what I wanted. It just didn't feel or sound like true double-tracked guitar. Then I though about my poor, lonely Variax JTV-59. I setup a Helix preset, taking advantage of the ever-so-slight time/phase difference between Variax Mags and Models, each as an input on separate, but identical signal paths. This was exactly what I was going for! Now I'm sure the preset masters Line 6, Glenn D., Fremen, etc. probably have this in their packs somewhere, but I wanted to do this for myself. Hope someone can help! Ive downloaded a number of custom tones and switch between a number of them I initially get no output! BUT if I depress my Variax Standard model selection knob twice the sound then kicks in. Im using the Helix Lt and Variax Standard all to latest firmware etc. A example of the a patch causing the issue is Jimmy Herring from Custom Tone. Hopefully just me got some global setting wrong or something only had helix a week.

What is the best way to set up a Variax, Helix, L2t, L2m, and microphone? I am connecting the Variax to Helix via VDI, Helix to L2t via L6 Link, L2t to L2m via L6 Link, Microphone to L2T on the 2nd channel - the problem I am having is the Microphone is only playing through the L2T not the L2M. If I unplug the Helix from the L2T the microphone will play through both speakers. How do I get everything to play through both speakers?
