  1. Good afternoon, I just recently purchased a used FBV MkII Express and am a bit lost on how to proceed. I've looked at manuals and even tried to watch a tutorial on youtube and I have no idea what I'm doing. Here's what I am currently using: Pod Farm 2 (as a VST) Presonus Studio One What I am trying to do is get the pedal to work as a foot switch. Either to change between tones, or to turn on the tuner, the wah/volume, etc. I have downloaded Monkey as well as Line 6 FBV Control. FBV Control does in fact see the pedal and the volume light turns on. When I tap the A/B/C/D pedals they blink as well. When going into FBV Control, I have no idea what to set. Basically I have a rig set up in Pod Farm 2 (VST) with a foot switch, one for clean, one for distortion. All I *really* need at this point is the ability to go from clean to distortion and back again if need be. I'm sorry if this sounds like a really noobish question (Im sure it is) but I just have no idea when people mention "CC21" and whatnot. To clarify, I DO NOT have an actual POD device. Im using an M-Audio recording interface to get guitars/bass/banjo recorded with Pod Farm 2. The least I would like to do is test functionality. I want to make sure the pedal is working, otherwise I'll need to return it to the pawn shop.

    Cubase 11

I just bought spider v 30 mkii and i installed Cubase LE AI 11 but i can't set it up to work. I want to record with it. Here is how the program looks like.
  3. I think this is nice to start new year with some positive projects. What about helping Line6 in correcting User Manual and making Spec Sheet? All this to adress FAQ in future releases and better communication with users. I will use 2.10 OWNER’S MANUAL 90-20-0451 - B (For use with Helix LT Firmware 2.10) but i guess it refers to all Helix hardware family. Page 7 "18. 4. The POD Go loads into the frozen bean silhouette with no progress upon starting. Went through installing go edit for the drivers, Line 6 updater, starting the POD in update mode with the updater in DXP-NFU, and using multiple computers and USB cables. No matter the combination, the firmware update fails. I get to where the PC says installing firmware update and the POD says updating, but the progress bar never even fills at all and the firmware update failed error always follows.
  5. Hi! i have a Spider V 60 MKII and an FBV MKII Express. i'm trying to figure out how to map the 4 foot buttons on the FBV to specific pre-sets i have on the amp so that i can switch between them as i wish while practicing. I'm not looking for anything super complicated (yet :) ) just wanna choose 2 clean tones and 2 with effects and i like a bunch of the pre-sets out of the box. Anyone can help me??? Thanks!!!
  6. Hi! I recently wanted to record my guitar directly into my pc into FL Studio. I have the Spider V 20 with the Spider Remote, and used the usb on the front to connect to my PC. Everything sounds fine, until I use the ASIO in FL Studio to set my Spider V 20 as the input. The guitar sounds great, but there is a zapping noise that happens every few seconds that ruins the recordings. Any help would be appreciated, here is a recording of the sound. Thanks Again! https://drive.google.com/file/d/1v-3q9dGpf9m2m41lJvTW_hoiLi-MASfS/view?usp=sharing
  7. Hi! I have a problem, I use the pod hd500x and an engl invader, I connect the midi in of the amplifier (configure omni engl) to the pod, I configure omni in the pod, and it changes the channel, that is, it communicates well, I can change the variax preset, the effects preset by fxloop, and the amp channel with its gains, noise gate, volume A / B, etc. my problem is that when I connect the guitar cable it makes a lot of noise, like fireworks, and it only disappears if I remove the midi, which prevents me from changing the channel of the engl, although if I use the FX loop, If I do without the 4-wire method, it happens to me that with the guitar's wireless it goes well, but as soon as I put a cable instead of wireless it puts noise again, until I disconnect the midi out of the pod .. I don't understand what happens What is different about the wireless cable? ... In the end in summary I can use the pod well as long as I use the z15 to change channels. But I want everything from one, that I have already seen that it is possible, but the noise prevents me. I have to find the one who communicates well via midi and voila Can you give me any suggestions? I change the omni of the pod for a specific channel? Any opinion or criticism is welcome.
  8. Hello, So my problem is : I've bought a POD Studio UX2 the last week, just received it today, and when I try to register it doesn't work and this line appears : "ESN could not be verified. Please confirm the supplied USN. ( Error: 523)". ... I'm really embarrassed and I don't know what to do, because I'm sure this product was new and unopened (the packaging was okay...)... So what can I do? Is anyone here who has solved this problem before? Thanks for helping.
  9. I have been using plugins almost exclusively now, and it's been annoying me having to manually switch presets. So I asked around and I was told I could use a pod hd500x to switch between presets on my plugins. So I bought one used and for the life of me I cannot figure out how to do it. I'm hoping, that someone here can help me out? the plugins I use are neural dsp plugins, if that's needed info
  10. I used to use my custom presets for weeks, today I want to use other sound and found that all the factory presets page is changed to "NewPreset" and all Presets are blank. Do anyone know how to restore the Factory Presets? I'm okay to build my custom presets afterwards. Many thanks.
  11. So the history is today arrived my Pod Go, everything work as intended, but later I tried to install the Go Edit software... Everything worked until it asked me to update the firmware. The update failed. Now my Pod Go won't even boot, just shows up the blank pod go logo. What I've tried: Reinstall all drivers (won't fix) Tried to update with Line 6 Updater (Neither Go Edit & L6 Updater recognaise the device is connected) All the avobe but in Update Mode (Nothing :) ) All the avobe with another USB (Nope) Factory reset (Doesn't do anything) I know the factory reset shortcut is "press C&D buttons while powering on" but doesn't seem to do nothing. Maybe I should reclaim, and forget all the affliction it's causing me. Please help.
  12. Hey guys! Abolutely loving 3.0 so far. I have a MIDI related question that hopefully somebody can help me with. I am running my HX Stomp with a Specular Tempus and am having some problems getting it to communicate. The tap tempo is working fine from the Stomp but is it possible to programme it to do this: - Snapshot 1 in my stomp uses patch A in Tempus - Snapshot 2 in my stomp also uses patch A in Tempus - Snapshot 3 in my stomp switches to patch B in Tempus I don't want to change bank on the tempus - I just want it to change to patch B from A when I hit footswitch 3 (snapshot 3) and vice versa. I seem to have tried everything including the new command center but can't seem to get it to work. Is this doable?
  13. Hello all. I’ll try my best to explain this, I’ve only been playing a bit over a year so my terminology is sub par. I bought this amp for $400+ effing dollars and within 2 months of owning it, I go to practice and I notice my sound is now very fuzzy and bassy. It was VERY crunchy, clear and metal sounding, but now it is so fuzzy that I can barely distinguish my notes when fast picking or fingering......sounds like total crap TBH. I have never moved the amp since I brought it home. No liquids, physical damage, weather damage or anything. Curious what I can try to fix this? I’m somewhat tech savvy, and would really rather avoid paying more to get it fixed when I can barely afford the $400 amp itself. I’ve gone through all the settings, factory reset it, but nothing. It will randomly work for a minute or two out of nowhere, but will go back to sounding awful soon. Adjusting the Input jack has no effect to the sound. One thing I noticed, is when this happened, the built in tuner stopped reading my input..... would act as if I was unplugged. The tuner has since started working again, but the speaker itself (or the software, not a clue...) still sounds very Fuzzy with low distortion, low clarity, and very bassy.
  14. Heya! First time here - I'm new to the Helix series, having bought the Effects a few months back to use as my pedal hub. I'm trying to do something that should be pretty simple - run two inputs in stereo to the pedal, and then have two outputs in stereo. Issue I'm having is that for some reason, the R input on the HX seems not to be getting signal from whatever pedal is going into it! Left works great, and I'm getting a stereo output as well as the send/return in stereo, as planned, but for reasons unknown to me only one thing I'm running in is audible. The worst part is that I'd somehow managed to fix this in my first round of troubleshooting, but it was a fluke and I neglected to save haha. Any help is appreciated! For extra clarity I'll also put details of the routing in a spoiler tag below.
  15. Hello, just wondering if anyone knows if theres a way for the controller to turn off the lights when you change patch on a toggle switch. i would love to know what effects are on while playing and then be able to play the next song without the lights staying on the toggle switches. i currently use it on momentary mode but having this very small addiction would help a-lot of FVB3 users.
  16. Hi guys, I wanna start by saying I've followed the official line 6 guide to get this to work, but I can't manage it (Guitar is set to Re-amp Src USB 7). In cakewalk I've tried selecting "Left Digital Audio Interface (Line 6 Helix LT) 7/8" as well as putting the guitar onto 8 and trying "Right Digital ... 7/8" and also using "Stereo ... 7/8" none of them are working! I've done a global settings reset on my LT and still have the same problem, it makes me think I'm doing something wrong with cakewalk, has anyone else had this problem, or knows how to fix it? Any tips/advice is much appreciated, I'll try it all to make it work. Cheers, Jack
  17. i have updated my line 6 UX1 to the latest driver 4.2.7.7 from 4.2.7.6 but when i go to "Line 6 audio-MIDI devices settings" i cannot change the bit depth or buffer size. when i select another size or bit rate, it just reverts back to default. the previous update did not do this. i have uninstalled all line 6 drivers and updated to the new one. i had no luck so i reverted back to the previous update. i would like to update this thing! please help!
  18. Hello there! First time poster here. I've had my stomp for about a year now and just recently there started to be problems with the output when using the unit as an audio interface. Any outputs from the USB cord end up with a clipping, buzzing type of noise. This only happens when listening to music, playing a game, etc. Does not happen to the output of my guitar, just the USB. It happens through both the speaker and headphone outputs. I'm on the latest version and have tried factory resetting. Any ideas what's going on here or what I can do? Thanks!
  19. Yesterday, I finally got my HD300 to work by plugging it in via usb. I went on the line6 website and installed some audio drivers and it worked perfectly. I turned my pc off when I went to bed and now that I've turned it back on, it doesn't work. I tried installing drivers for it with the line6 monkey, but that doesn't seem to work either. Is there a way that I need to manually execute the drivers upon rebooting my computer or is it just broken? Any help is appreicated.
  20. I recently just got into guitar and bought the Spider IV 15W amp. I tried to plug in my cord and no sound was coming out. I then noticed the only way the amp would work is if I put pressure on the cord into the jack. However once I let go it goes back to not working. Is there anyway I can fix this or should I look to return it?
  21. Hey y’all! First post here. I’m gonna try to explain this as clearly as possible, but it’s kind of confusing, so bear with me and let me know if you can help. I’m running my pedalboard into the front of the HX Stomp (no FX loops or effects after the Stomp). The last pedals in my chain are a mono input into my Timeline > L/R out into my Big Sky > L/R out to the L/R ins of the HX Stomp, which is then running L/R out to a stereo DI into FOH. Easy peasy. Both channels are working and receiving signal at the board. I’m trying to run the Essex AC30 and the Matchless Jump in true stereo. I split the AC30 and its IR on path A, and the Matchless and its IR on path B. I panned path A hard L and path B hard R on both the split and the merge. After the merge, I then put a stereo EQ and a stereo compressor at modest settings before hitting the Out. SO, the problem I’m having is that one of the channels is receiving the amp, IR, EQ and compressor with no issues. The OTHER channel however is only receiving my Big Sky’s Reverb (and maybe the delay) from my board. It’s like it’s only receiving the wet effects, but no dry signal. It’s so weird and I’ve been wracking my brain like CRAZY to try to figure out what the heck I’m doing wrong. SO...that’s my long-winded explanation. Any ideas?
  22. I fired up the POD X3 yesterday and the white noise was just too much. I don't know how to deal with it because I've never done this before. If anyone has encountered or dealt with these symptoms, it would really help me if you could give me some advice. The white noise was very bad, even when I tried to connect the microphone and guitar separately. I was connected to my PC at the time, so I recorded with DAW software and the white noise was brilliantly mainstreamed. (Both the microphone and guitar.) I thought it might be due to the connection to the PC, so I started up the POD X3 with the connection between the POD X3 and the PC disconnected and away from the PC and monitor, and the white noise was terrible even in that state. Incidentally, I recorded with a POD X3 with a guitar and microphone and with DAW software between February and April of this year, and when I checked yesterday, there was no white noise at all in the recordings from that time. If anyone knows what causes these and how to remedy the white noise, it would be really helpful to have some advice. (The white noise is terrible, but the guitars and microphones sound normal. Also, I tried changing the headphones to different ones but no change.) Thank you!
  23. So i ended up getting a UX2 POD studio for christmas, i just recently started trying to get it started up, due to my computer being on the fritz, sort of got it working and functioning without any problems so i think its safe (my computer) So back to the topic, i cannot get this to work for the life of me, and i haven't had the best expierence with line 6 products in the past. I've been scouting around trying to see what the problem is and what the solution will hopefully be. The driver won't install. line 6 monkey? won't dectect it or allow me to download/update the drivers. The liscense manager isn't detecting anything either. This was a NEW product unopened when i recieved it with the 2 discs. I registered it and need some serious advice on what to do with this. thanks for reading.
  24. I was using pod x3 live directly connected to an orange amp when all of a sudden due to poor power supply and incapable voltages the electric supply in my entire house got cut off and after a while it did come back but ever since then I've been having this problem where only the backlight of x3 live gets on meaning that it freezes at a blank yellow screen at the startup. I've tried changing the power supply (using different adapter) and resetting (which isn't possible because it doesn't show anything on the screen) and connecting it to the computer and flashing it(which is not possible because it doesn't show up in my computer) but none of these remedies have solved the problem. If someone has gone through this problem and found a solution then do let me know.
  25. I was wondering if someone could offer me some advice on connections! I just bought the helix floor (AMAZING!), but I also own a tc helicon voicelive 3 extreme (VL3 for future reference) for vocals. I connect my guitar to the VL3 guitar in and then another cable from the guitar thru on VL3 (which passes only a dry guitar signal) to the Helix guitar in. So that's easy enough. The VL3 requires that for it to detect the chords for vocal harmonies and processing. Now I should say that I have a Yamaha Stagepas 600 pa system that I am connecting to for everything (No amp or FRFR). I would like to be able to use the looper on the VL3 in stereo for both the guitar from the Helix and the vocals from the VL3 itself but unsure of how to get this accomplished. I am assuming that it's with the effects loop on the Helix but I'm unfamiliar with effects loops. Also please note that the routing options on the VL3 outs are plentiful. So can I make them play nice? I have attached a photo of the VL3 rear INS/OUTS for reference. Also an image of the Yamaha pa mixer/amp. If someone could please HELP ME!
