Hey y'all, sorry if this is a repost, I've searched for this info a bunch of times. Here's what I want to do: Using Helix Floor (2.5.0 - can update it if this will fix it) Use one of the vibe effects (Vibe Rotary in my case) No Wah or Volume effects on this patch Use the expression pedal to control the Slow Speed & Fast Speed params Use the expression pedal toe switch to change the Speed param between Slow and Fast mode For the life of me I can't figure out exactly how to do this. I've gotten as far as getting EXP1 and EXP2 to control the Slow Speed & Fast Speed, but I can't get the toe switch to change the actual Speed param from Slow to Fast. I tried using MIDI CC Toggle in the Command Center as well but I am not sure I was doing it correctly. Is this possible?

Hi, I've been searching everywhere but I can't seem to find an answer for this problem that I'm having, I really hope someone can shed some light on this. I've been having some trouble with my UX2, I should preface this by saying everything's working properly outside of the fact, input levels are normal, it's reading a normal output level, etc. So, my problem is that when I plug my headphones into the headphone jack (through adapters, yes) fully, the sound is so quiet and only really comes through the left speaker. When I plug in the headphones about 3/4 of the way in, they work perfectly fine like they used to. I suppose I could just record like this, but I'm worried that this may not be accurate sound, and I'd just like the sanctity of mind to know that I'm hearing accurate playback. Can someone please fill me in on what's going on, if this is a hardware issue, a jack issue, if this is a huge problem or not. Thank you.

Hello to everybody, I’m thinking about buying the M20D(maybe used if I get a super deal), and switch my band setup from analog to digital, mainly for ease of setup, our situation is pretty typical (drum bass guitars voice and a few sequence), so we will be using always the same scene, with small adjustments regarding the venue or a few guests. I already checked how this mixer works and I think it can do everything we need in a nice package, but I’m here to ask for help, since I tried it once and it was super cool, but it isn't mine so I cannot check every feature, so please I will be glad if any expert user could tell me if I’m gettin’ it right or not. For live use I will need a complete channel strip for the Singer, so eq-compressor-deesser-(enhancer)-reverb, independent from other channels. For drums, eq for all channels and compressor for overhead kick and maybe snare. For guitars and bass, eq. For main out, limiter and eq. Can I do everything with integrated efx in the M20D without linking external units? For Home studio use, I understand it can do as an USB audio interface for windows 10 machines, so I can sell my focusrite Scarlett and Motu 8pre and link the Line6 with Cubase with the same functionality, right? Or I can use it only to record live performance on SD or usb cards? We are afraid to loose a little bit of quality since now we are using an Allen Heat Zed22fx which is a great analog mixer, but I’m confident that with an integrated digital mixer I can balance things much more precisely. Hello all, As a completely new user and member in this community, I apologize in case my question was already answered as I couldn't find useful information. I was playing around in the Helix Native, to organize a specific sound I am going for in taste, by using some 3-rd party IR's. What have bothered me and can't understand how and if able to fix, but when I am using for example the OwnHammer IR's or any other IR's, they work fine inside Helix's IR loader. However recently I managed to capture a particular old record of mine, that I really like how it came out in the final guitar mix (particular room, mics used etc) and I made my own custom IR. That IR can work just fine in any other IR loader (i.e. Recabinet 5 or NadIR). For some reason when I load the same custom IR into Helix Native, no matter if I select 1024 or 2048 and scroll down to the .wav file itself and I try to play it or listen to the already recorded guitar track in my DAW, there is no sound at all :( I tried playing around with the settings of the Helix IR's, but the sound will come only if I turn it off and leave the raw amp head emulation without any cabinet IR. That really pisses me off as now I can't use it for rehearsals or live gigs. Any suggestions how I may fix it? In case, that you wonder how I created my custom IR (if that eventually may help to figure to issue): The way I created my IR is: Track "A" is the original guitar sound I wanted to capture. Track "B" was the same played with Helix without any cabs/IR's. Captured solo channel from A track and used Voxengo Curve EQ, captured it as reference, then the B track on 2nd layer, applied it over the "A track" and muted both GIT channels, select solo mode on the 3-rd track (test sound generated via Voxengo deconvolver), going right in the Stereo Out channel with the applied EQ and converted the final IR file. how do i register second hand podhd500 to be able to use the software pls thnx Hi There Bought this Pod few moths ago , got the monkey software but don't let me connect podhd500 cos it aint registered , so tried to register but doesn't seem to like it being second hand ... pls help thnx -
Hey. SO i baught a Variax Standard summer 2016 and so far ive been quite happy with it (i only use it for homestudio work), yesterday the guitar just sort of died while i was recording something (lost sound and signal), i had charged the battery the day before which made it weird, but anyways i just plugged it in the charger hoping that would fix it. Well, its now been blinking for 17 hours straight and when i put it in the guitar the back lights up then dies imidiately..As the batteries are kind of expensive (too me atleast) i want to make sure before i end up buying a new one.. SO i seem to remember that the variax is still playable without the battery but that to access the different models you have to have battery, but when i plug in the guitar (with or without the battery) the guitar makes NO sound at all, and acording to my daw its like its not even plugged in..Is my guitar ruined?? OR is it "just" my battery?? Please help a Norwegian out :) Edit: Also tried pressing the round flush black button next to the lights, it lights up all four for about 2 seconds then they all go black..

Hi folks; First time posting on the forums, and I'm hoping you all can help me out. I just successfully updated to firmware 2.50 for Helix (which is everything I hoped it would be :D ), and I'm trying to use HX Edit. I downloaded it successfully, but when I click on the application icon to open it, it starts to open the black window, then immediately shuts down with the message "HX Edit quit unexpectedly." I've tried deleting and re-downloading with the same result. I opened the app directly from the 'Applications' folder, not from a shortcut. I'm running a Mac with OS X 10.8.5, and haven't had any trouble with Line 6 or Helix software heretofore. This was the first version of 'HX Edit' that I've installed. Prior to this I was using the old 'Helix' app (which I've already deleted). I'm not worried about restoring any preset or IR backups, I just want the app to open and work properly. Any tips or solutions to this problem would be greatly appreciated! Thanks! [Moderators, if there is an existing topic on this issue, feel free to move my post there. This is my first time posting and I don't know how all of this works just yet.]

Hello! I've had a Line 6 Toneport UX2 for a couple of years now. Recently I got a new desktop PC running windows 10. When i connect my toneport all I can hear coming from the outputs and the phones output is a loud hissing noise. Drivers are all up to date, line 6 monkey shows me all green ticks, asio drivers are all ok. the input vu-meter is always at maximum even though nothing is connected to it. no input signal, no output sound (except for the loud hiss.) Running it in a usb 2.0 on the motherboard (so no usb dongle or something like that). Tried it with all ports, a couple of different usb cables. I've also tried seeing if my PC's output voltage was the problem but everything is ok, no overclocking done. I'm running out of ideas. Could anyone help me with this?

Hello, Friends My Helix screen stop working and only show sequence of funny colors and pattern changes every 1s. Everything work well but the screen. Anyone else having this problem? How can I fix it?

Just curious if there's any way to see an effect's current BPM in the scribble strip. The name is nice but I'd love to use that space for some more pertinent info. If not, is there a way to see BPM without leaning down and touching the tap button? Thanks.

Hi guys and gals! I have a Pod hd500x and I'm looking to lighten up my live gear. Before I was using an engl powerball and engl 4x12 and had the pod as effects, but the music that we play requires me to switch a bunch and with channel selecting on the amp and effect switching on the pod it got really crazy sometimes. So now I'm using the pod as pretty much my main tone (amp sim, cab sim, effects, etc.). I've since gotten rid of the engl as it was redundant to have the head, and the cab is a pain to lug around. So my question is does anyone have some recommendations for cabinets? If possible I wanna have a 2x12 with some power. Thanks!

Looking for help with this problem please: My Recently purchased Variax Standard Guitar gives a loud unpleasant Squealing screeching noise intermittently with acoustic models. Never happens (so far) with other models. Noise continues until I switch off or unplug Guitar. Wanted to use in a live situation but need this rectified first! I’m Using variax with standard guitar lead straight into an Alesis USB mixer and I have updated firmware and ensured battery is fully charged. Is this a known issue? Any help appreciated please -
Hey, I just bought an epiphone les paul jr, and spider classic 15 amp. 'm looking just to do some covers for fun, but can't seem to get the Blink 182 sound, looking to do a dammit cover. Anyone who knows if getting this sound is possible on this amp? So many presets. Thanks so much!

So I know that similiar problems have been posted here in recently, but none of the fixes work for me. I recently got the POD studio UX2, and installed POD farm 2.5 on my PC, along with all the necessary drivers (line6 monkey and the hardware driver) and registration steps. Unfortunately, I am still not able to get the interface/software to pick up my guitar. I have both my recording and playback devices set to the interface, selected "instrument" on the POD farm input menu, have the UX2 selected in the hardware preferences tab, and my guitar/cable works through an amp. The interface is lit up (yellow/orange lights on), but the dials don't move at all. I also noticed that I am unable to hear any other sounds from my computer (youtube/Spotify), so I am not sure if this helps isolate the issue. At this point I have no idea what to do and am considering opening up a ticket. Does anyone have any advice? Thanks -
Hi all Im very new the world of wireless. Recently bought the Relay G90 and ive jamming with it for a few months and a couple of local shows with it and it worked a dream. Only problem i have now is, i had my first international support with it and the headlining band was using wireless systems aswell. My wireless was cutting in and out during sound test and i had to use a guitar cable in. Can anyone provide any help on why this would happen and how to fix it. The G90 runs off 2.4ghz digital wireless system as im sure most of you are aware. Im not sure the exact system the headlining band was using.

So i bout a new Pro studio ux1 and behringer c-1 mic and the vocals wont come through? all i have is the usb connector and the mic plugged into the ux1 is there anything else i need? can someone please help

Hey people, Would any of you guys mind helping me out, I just bought a helix LT and while I will have to wait about a week for it to ship and arrive I want to start learning more about it and building a stockpile of useful material to help me get the most out of the unit. So while this more than likely already exists (if so please will you post a link to it), could you guys direct me to the best posts, sites and videos to read up on learning to program the helix and about how things work with it? If you could provide some recommendations for Third Party Cab Impulse Responses to try out that would be awesome to! I appreciate any help that's given. Thanks in advance, Phil

Is it possible to plug in a Digitech MC7 midi footswitch into the midi in of the pod hd to control it? For example, I need to change presets quickly on stage and I've had this footswitch laying around. I have searched for hours on the subject and there is very little information regarding it... Thanks for any help.

Hello, my friends. I recently bought new computer and reinstalled windows, and i have many problems that i wanted to fix, but i don't know how. I used mac os, but i've installed win7 and i think that there are some problems with brandmauer. I can't use postgresql port because it's also not working and some ports are not visible to other computers from the internet. Perhaps, it is an issue with router, but I'm not sure. What do you think?

Hi to all!. I some time ago bought new laptop and installed operating system, and i have a lot of problems that i wanted to resolve, but i have no idea. I used windows 10, but i've set up win7 and i think that there are some issues with brandmauer. I can't use postgresql channel because it's often busy and some ports are not working with other computers from the network. Perhaps, it is a problem with cisco, but I'm not sure. So what is your opinion?

Hey folks, I'm looking for some insight from you as to the best way to use my Helix with this particular amp. I'm not very familiar with using effects loops and/or power amp. Just haven't taken the time to learn. The only real option I have is the external speaker input. Is there a way of incorporating the Helix into this, besides just going straight into the front of the amp? Current signal chain: Guitar - Helix Guitar In - Helix 1/4" left/mono output - Amp Thanks in advance.

Im using four cable method with my Fender Bassbreaker. Anything i need to know? Specifically...do I need to turn down the levels on the Return on the loop and should I set it as Instrument out or Line Out? In short, I don't want to overload anything. Thanks

Can the firehawk 1500 amps do all the orange amps because I just need one amp for gigging. All my orange amps are heavy to bring around so can the firehawk 1500 do that.

Hello lads, I am using the ux2 mostly for streaming. but I wanted to put down some Ideas on the electric guitar. so I plugged into line 1 and found me a sound (couple of amps, dist. pedals etc). when I started tracking in my programm, the sound got monitored with all the effects on it. but when I played it back afterwards in the prgramm, the guitar sound was clean. what am i doing wrong? thanks in advance :) Tom
