My HD pro has started this thing where regardless of whether I use speakers or headphones there is a crackling sound in the left output every few seconds during playback and recording. Need advice ASAP!

Good afternoon, I just recently purchased a used FBV MkII Express and am a bit lost on how to proceed. I've looked at manuals and even tried to watch a tutorial on youtube and I have no idea what I'm doing. Here's what I am currently using: Pod Farm 2 (as a VST) Presonus Studio One What I am trying to do is get the pedal to work as a foot switch. Either to change between tones, or to turn on the tuner, the wah/volume, etc. I have downloaded Monkey as well as Line 6 FBV Control. FBV Control does in fact see the pedal and the volume light turns on. When I tap the A/B/C/D pedals they blink as well. When going into FBV Control, I have no idea what to set. Basically I have a rig set up in Pod Farm 2 (VST) with a foot switch, one for clean, one for distortion. All I *really* need at this point is the ability to go from clean to distortion and back again if need be. I'm sorry if this sounds like a really noobish question (Im sure it is) but I just have no idea when people mention "CC21" and whatnot. To clarify, I DO NOT have an actual POD device. Im using an M-Audio recording interface to get guitars/bass/banjo recorded with Pod Farm 2. The least I would like to do is test functionality. I want to make sure the pedal is working, otherwise I'll need to return it to the pawn shop. -
POD PRO into the Line 6 spider iv 15, is that posible? If yes how i can get it?

So I was one of the fortunate ones to get a Helix as soon as it came out. The UI and the way to really get under the hood to make patches was a bit over my head, but out of the gate I had some pretty great sounding tones. Then came a bad software update and some glitches and my unit was replaced - Kudos to Line 6 for incredible customer service. Here's the problem, and maybe someone here can help me because I am at the point of sending this thing right back to Sweetwater. My original unit sounded great. Patches sounded big and real. On my new one, EVERYTHING sounds like the first Zoom multi Fx pedal I ever owned. Everything except the cleans sound super fizzy and plastic. I've tried rolling off highs, changing mics and placement, but nothing is working. I've used it on a few gigs and it's just awful. Any advice? Thanks

Hey guys, Since the remote app updates today I get the message 'device not connected' I've tried impairing the device, renown loading the app and a factory reset but nothing has worked. This is on an iPad 4th gen running the latest iOS. I have also tried it on an iPhone 6s with the same result. Can anybody help? Thank you

Hi, I have had my UX2 for about 2 weeks now, I am having an issue were It will just freeze (Including the dials). My microphone that is plugged into the UX2 stops working and I can hear nothing from my headphones (Except a buzzing sound every 1-2 secs) that are are plugged into the UX2. The way I am currently fixing this problem is by unplugging and re-plugging in my UX2 and relaunching pod farm and after a minute it is fixed, well for a little bit. This issue happens to me about 5 or so times a day and is very annoying. Could you please comment any questions you have that may help you solve this issue. Thanks, Michael

So, I'm fairly new to recording. I just got an apple mac mini and I just installed Logic Pro X since it's really the only daw I've had any experience with. I really just need to know how to set up my POD HD Pro X to use as an interface. I hooked it up via USB and turned it on, but when I go in to the set output/input device, it doesn't show up as an option. I actually can't set the input to anything, only the output has the option to change. I've had the POD since Christmas, I haven't used it as anything other than an amp. Any help would be greatly appreciated. -
Hello, sorry if this is a sorta double post. But I thought that I might try here for help as well. I purchased a UX1 and got PodFarm 2.5 with it. I have the UX1 set as default in Playback and Recording. I can hear playback of the microphone whilst monitoring. But here's the issue, when I go to record things, I either get an error, or no Audio out. Using skype, setting the interface as the microphone creates no audio. Audacity on launch gives me a "no audio devices" error. Adobe Audition has an MME error. And OBS, when trying to record/preview/stream, forcefully turns off the mic option telling me that it is unplugged, or not working well. Let me reassure you that it is plugged in, up to date on drivers, and windows says it's running perfectly. Please if you could help me, that would be great! I just want to know where my audio is going, and how I can fix this :P Specs: CPU: fx-8350 OS: Windows 10 RAM: 16 gigs -

Hi guys, I've recently bought a Pod HD500X and have installed some software to go with it (license manager, monkey, HD500X Edit, PodFarm 2), but I can't seem to license PodFarm 2. I've uninstalled and reinstalled it, and unauthorized and reauthorized my computer, but I can't get it licensed. The application opens but prompts me to buy a license for the unauthorized software (which I already have from buying my Pod). Not sure if there's something simple I've completely missed or if it's a bit more of a tedious fix, but any help would be greatly appreciated! Just want to get recording :) Thanks in advance, James

I just purchased this new line 6 pod and i would love to use it but every time i connect it to my computer and turn it on it doesnt install the driver or it will say no driver help ive downloaded the line 6 monkey and it isnt detecting it help please

i cant update usb firmware, and i cant authorize my pod hd 500x help me please (i just purchase a metal hd pack and i dont wanna feel i waste 60 $ T-T)

I turned on my line 6 spider IV 75 watt amplifier today and all the lights on the various amp settings clean red' 'clean green' e.t.c are all lit up at the same time. Even the additional effects and the orange display in the top right just blinks and makes no progress in turning on. Usually the colours for the amp setting are either red or green, but the left side of settings is yellow and the other half is green? Is this supposed to tell me that there is a problem with the amp? I have tried the factory reset, turned it on and off multiple times, even waited longer to see if it turns on and nothing. In desperate need of some help with this as I called Line 6 and my nearest repair shop is quite far and in an area I don't know too well. Thankyou for taking the time to read this. -
Hi guys, im new here and wondering if you can give me some help... i just got a pod xt live from a mate who has upgraded. problem is... i cant get it working when hooked up to my laptop [to add tones or record etc] can some one tell me what i need to do please? i'm told i need gearbox 7 or something? but cant find it anywhere. any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hello, So my problem is : I've bought a POD Studio UX2 the last week, just received it today, and when I try to register it doesn't work and this line appears : "ESN could not be verified. Please confirm the supplied USN. ( Error: 523)". ... I'm really embarrassed and I don't know what to do, because I'm sure this product was new and unopened (the packaging was okay...)... So what can I do? Is anyone here who has solved this problem before? Thanks for helping. -

So, today I bought the Amplifi 75w, took it home, and realized I needed that special cord to update it (I'm using android). So I went out picked one up, and I downloaded Amplify Utility, and I go through all the steps to update my amp, but it sits at the "Installing Firmware update" with 0% of the bar filling up? I've tried factory resetting my amp, and deleting the drivers, and Amplifier Utility and reinstalling it all, and still nothing, can anybody recommend anysteps? Getting a little frustrated.

So i ended up getting a UX2 POD studio for christmas, i just recently started trying to get it started up, due to my computer being on the fritz, sort of got it working and functioning without any problems so i think its safe (my computer) So back to the topic, i cannot get this to work for the life of me, and i haven't had the best expierence with line 6 products in the past. I've been scouting around trying to see what the problem is and what the solution will hopefully be. The driver won't install. line 6 monkey? won't dectect it or allow me to download/update the drivers. The liscense manager isn't detecting anything either. This was a NEW product unopened when i recieved it with the 2 discs. I registered it and need some serious advice on what to do with this. thanks for reading.

Hello, Recently, I brought my first Line6 system (POD Studio GX) and I am experiencing troubles trying to set it up. I have completed the set up of POD Farm which seems to be working fine. My problem is that whenever I plug in the box used for plugging in your guitar lead (I apologise for not knowing what it's called) into the computer, a little box appears saying 'Found New Hardware'. It has three options, 'Locate and install driver software (reccommended)', 'Ask me again later' and 'Don't show this message again for this device.' I have clicked on the first option and it then asks me to insert the disk that came with the GX (in order for it to search the disk for driver content (?)), so I inserted my POD Farm disk. After reading it, it says that it can't find the driver software. Even after 'searching the web for a solution,' I am still unable to use the 'box' for the program or any use. I would be very grateful for a reply which helps me, Thank you. -
Hi, I got an M5 Stompbox Modeler for the pas 2 years and i really like it. Problem is, since the past few months, i have a problem. If the M5 is on and the effect (lets take heavy distortion for this example) is activated (which means the red light on the on/off is there) the sound is completely fine. BUT if i just press on the ON/OFF button, i'm supposed to hear my clean guitar settings that is coming out of my amp (its pretty much like that for every pedal in the world lol pedal effect off=amp's sound) The problem is that when the effect if OFF, i can't hear anything like if my guitar is no plugged. All my cables work fine (i tested every single one of them) and its only when the effect is OFF that it doesnt work. So i can't use it on stage now because if i just turn off my distortion, i dont have any sound coming from the amp :P If anyone can help me thatd be cool :) (btw i'm not an expert in electronic stuff so telling me codes and stuff will just confuse me xD just explain what you mean and that should be good :) ) -
I recently purchased a GAP Pre73 MKII and a Shure SM7. I'd like to use both of these to record vocals through my POD HD500, but I'm a little confused as to the proper way to set this up. Here's what I'm doing: My SM7 is going into the Pre73's Mic In via an XLR cable, and then the Pre73's output is going through a balanced TRS cable to the POD's Aux in. I read in the manual that the Aux In is unbalanced. Will this negatively affect my signal, or if I use a balanced TRS cable, will the signal stay balanced? Is there a better way to set this up, or a special configuration I need to use? When I connect the SM7 to the POD directly, via XLR to the POD's Mic In, the level in my DAW seems great and the mic is sufficiently loud (and the SM7 is a notoriously quiet mic). When I use my aforementioned setup, the level in my DAW is very low, even though I have both knobs on my Pre73 cranked to max. This has led me to believe I am doing something wrong. For what it's worth, I am using high-quality Mogami cables. As a somewhat-related sidenote, is it possible to run my Pre73 as part of an "fx loop"? Would there be a benefit to this? I'd like to use the Pre73 to warm up my bass and I figure that could be a way to do it, or should I simply plug the bass into the Pre73, and then the Pre73 into the POD? I was using pod x3 live directly connected to an orange amp when all of a sudden due to poor power supply and incapable voltages the electric supply in my entire house got cut off and after a while it did come back but ever since then I've been having this problem where only the backlight of x3 live gets on meaning that it freezes at a blank yellow screen at the startup. I've tried changing the power supply (using different adapter) and resetting (which isn't possible because it doesn't show anything on the screen) and connecting it to the computer and flashing it(which is not possible because it doesn't show up in my computer) but none of these remedies have solved the problem. If someone has gone through this problem and found a solution then do let me know.
