Okay guys. I need suggestions, please. I just purchased a new 5150iii combo amp and I'm looking to setup a wet, dry rig if possible. I have the pod HD500x and PA speakers. Is my idea mad, impossible or easily done?? Thank you in advance for the help.

So I have just downloaded podfarm 1 from the line6 page and I can't get any of the tones to load. I have owned a UX2 for years and now find that gearbox no longer works. I have registered my UX2 with the line6 monkey but cant find a way to register podfarm. the error i get when i try to load a tone is "failed to load tone" "(code 80001003) access denied to file or folder." any help would be greatly appreciated. gearbox used to work perfectly. -
I just got a spider IV 150 2x12 combo amp and at the store the preset knob was acting funny, skipping presets not turning like it should then when I got it home the knob stopped working altogether. I spin the knob to select presets and the knob just spins and spins and does not change my presets and the knob is VERY loose and wobbles. Has anyone else had this issue or have an idea of what I can do???

Hi! Ive had my m13 unit now for a year or so and it has worked flawlessly! I love it and its my main effects unit. My issue is, I sat down to practice from a big event I have coming up in the next few days and like normal I plugged everything in as normal and switched everything on but as soon as i engaged ANY switch on the m13 it cuts all my signal and sends an awful hum that simply doesn't let anything else through at all. I've tried multiple cables and different scenes on the unit and every patch does the same thing, lets through signal when the whole unit is bypassed but as soon as an fx on the unit is chosen it cuts all signal and sends a hum that can't be navigated around! Please Help!!

Hi guys Been jamming today with my LTD SC-607B through the POD HD Bean, and all was good at first. Switched it off, came back later and then, without tweaking my patch at all, I started to get this annoying noise trailing my chugs. I have tried out a few lead cords and the same thing, and I am getting the same noise through both bridge and neck pick ups. Here is a recording of what I mean. Its driving me crazy. Like I said, it was fine just minutes earlier until I turned it off for a while. Came back and here we are. https://soundcloud.com/sdsm/my-song-2 Anybody else experienced this or something similar? I just put in a brand new battery for my EMG's too I have tried plugging the POD into other power sockets around the house and same thing I have tried another guitar with passive pick ups and same thing This comes on randomly from time to time

I've recently been looking around to find an affordable JTV 69 in my area, and i came across some online sellers trading JTV 69 in a Shoreline Gold. which I love the color but given that the Line 6 Website doesn't show the 69 being available in the gold i'm a little sceptical as to whether these are legitimate or not. anyone able to help clear up the mystery? or is it just one of the many US custom colors?

Hi all! I have a Podfarm UX1. I've had it for about a year and a half with no problems but recently when I try to plug it into the computer, the UX1 wont turn on, and the USB port on the back of the UX1 is a little loose and will not work. Anyone know an easy way to fix this? Or do I have to try and get a whole new UX1? Thanks!

Hey fellas, I've had a HD500X ever since they came out, and I love it. If you have an older model POD, you should seriously consider the upgrade. Anyway I have a few questions, hopefully some of you guys can help me out here.. Recording: I have a Macbook and I'm using an old version of Garageband from like, '09. I plugged in my acoustic to record Here Comes The Sun, and post it on Facebook. WOW! It sounded fantastic! Everyone asked me to do another cover and so I thought, ah, what the heck? Sure thing... I plugged in my LP, and switched it over to the assigned switches and played without doing a sound check. (Stupid) Five minutes later I'm playing it back, and it sounds like absolute crap! I was in shock compared to the acoustic! It is majorly distorted! Even on a clean assign, with or without an amp model. Long story long, what recording software are you guys using? I'd like to keep it under $150, and it has to be Mac compatible. (This is why I hate you, Mac) I have 2gb of Ram so any older versions of Logic, are kind of out of the question. (Logic demands to much for my old hunk of junk)... Second thing: I'm planning on doing a small little guitar session at my school. Play along with the art teacher who plays piano and do a cover of, Let It Be. Our school stage has imbedded XLR inputs on the stage, and then that runs straight to the sound system amplifier, then to the speakers. Now, I'm no technical advance kind of guy when it comes to stuff like this. It's all new to me. Even though I know computers like the back of my hand. I see on the back of the 500X that it's got two, what appears to be XLR, even though it says Balanced Left and Right. What I'm trying to do is just get the sound from my pod straight to those XLR inputs in the stage. Any ideas of what cable I would need? I feel like a 1/4 inch to an XLR would work, but what would those balanced be used for? (future reference) Thanks Guys.

hello everybody i purchase a Line 6 POD Studio UX2 and it work fine with cubase 7 element. when i run POD Farm 2 only it sound perfect but when i open it as a plugin on cubase it sound deffirent and less stronger effects... can anyone help me with that problem plz?? thanks -
Well, i have 2 years with my unit, and it works perfect, but this week turned crazy, when i switch the fx2 button, pop up to fx3 or fx4. when i switch the mode button it works like i had pushed the preset button. I have factory restored the unit but still the same problem.

Hey guys. So I've been having some serious problems with my UX1 and Pod Farm. When I play into headphones, no problem. When I plug into an amp (UX1 Phones out>>Amp return input) or a DI running into a board and then a loudspeaker, my sound will cut in half and make this fluttery warbly sound. I have a friend that does the same thing but has no problem. Any ideas? My Pod Farm and Macbook Pro are both updated to the newest operating system and everything. Let me know if you can help. I bought an FBV shortboard MKII and I want to change the settings. I have a Spider IV 75 and it has user A, B, C, D, list of presets. I want to change the effect within the letter list, but when i change it and move on to the next preset, depending on what i choose for the second one, the first preset is changed to something different. Please help. -
I had a IMac, digidesign protools mbox, and KB37 with toneport gearbox for several years now. My IMac crashed, lost all my songs, and info is un-retrievable. So.. I bought a Presonus audio box with studio one and a new PC with windows7 32 bit I want to continue using my KB37 but it's several years old, it has the old version of gearbox before pod farm came out. Is there anyway to get this thing compatible with windows 7 and upgrade to podfarm? I loved the sound I got with the toneport and how easy it was to get a nice sound. I'm pretty tec dumb so any help would be greatly appreciated. So in short, I have an old KB37 circa 2008 or 2009, I would love to update to work with studio one on windows 7. Or am I out of luck? Ok, so here's my dilemma. As of now I live in a tiny apartment with my Line 6 Spider 3, my guitar, and my laptop. Now, for the past year I've been playing through my amp through headphones, like through the headphone jack, because I cant play my amp slightly loud enough, before my neighbors come banging at my door. Anyways, I'm thinking about buying a Pod Pro HD X, but there's a few things I want to know about it before I pick it up. 1. Can I plug headphones and my guitar into it and play directly through it? 2. I'm pretty sure this is true, but can I plug my guitar and headphones into it, and plug it into my laptop via USB, for recording purposes? 3. Can I use a L6 FBV Express MKII on it? For like Wah effects and stuff? 4. Does the Pod Pro HD X sound better than the Line 6 Spider 4? Those are pretty much my only questions. I really want the HDX because I want to start recording, and I've tried with my Line 6 Spider 3 using a Aux audio to aux audio and plugging it into my mic port in my laptop, and it sounds like utter sh*t. I really don't want another actual amp either, because I hardly play live, or go out to play. So is the Pro HD X right for me?

Hey everyone, just bought myself a POD HD PRO today and have been looking to make my own in flames tone. I am unfamiliar with the different amp names in POD HD Pro EDIT. So help would be much appreciated. Also if anyone has some that are already created i would love to hear a few and or trade info to get the details behind the sound. Cheers

Im rewriting this post because im still having problems with my tone. I've gone through all the suggestions and nothings changed. The outputs is Studio/Direct and im using a low gain yet im still getting horrible fuzz over the top, ruining any clarity that was there. This is my first time on any forum so i have no idea what im doing so dont be patronising... I have the Pod HD Pro in my studio but it sounds terrible? I can make a nice tone that im happy with but it has a horrible fuzz, clipping/distorted sound on top of it, which is completely ruining the tone! Imagine listen to a song that would sound great as WAV or 320kbs... but is coming out sounding like 128kbs. (that horrid, weak quailty) The tone has lost all depth and clarity and its really starting to annoy me as my band are mid way through recording our EP but the more we focus on the guitar the more the bad quality stands out! Nothing is actually clipping though, like the gain on the amp is pretty low, low master volume, its not clipping in the compressor or the DAW? Seriously need help to find out whats wrong. Its been like this since i got it and im losing faith in line 6. If anyone has experienced this and overcome it please tell me how? x

So yesterday I updated line6 monkey, and now it won't find my Pod X3. ESN unkown... Here's the error Error: (Code 80007103) Failed read to firmware. My license manager is now unauthorized with an error of 80000002 or something. I've tried turning things on and off, plugging them in and out to different usb ports and so on. Also, when I am running Logic or any other of my DAWS and I open line 6 monkey, it now will crash whatever DAW I have open. What is going on?! -
Hello ya'll, I recently purchased a POD Pro on ebay and when it arrived it wouldn't power on(it still hasn't). The seller is a store with 100% positive feedback on ebay, so when they described the POD as "working perfectly" I believe them. I know for a fact that it had a rough journey here because the box was pretty darn bruised and beaten. Can any one of you tell me what might be wrong with it?

Hi, I need some advice to match my Spider III 4x12 cab with a Krank Rev Jr Pro. The spider cab has two 8ohms inputs running in stereo and the left side input running 4 ohms in mono, my amp has a 16/8 ohms switch, i would like to know if it will be rigth to connect my amp with the swiitch in 8 ohms, to the right side of the spider cab, will this deactivated the left side of the spider cab, letting me use the 8 ohms side of the cab? thanks for your help!

Hello guys! My brother's birthday is coming and I really want to surprise him, but I'm not sure whether to get him the M13 or the Pod HD500X, I need to confess that I never tried either of those two He has a really bad 80's amp and a mixing console where keyboards and vocals go to the PA Which one is better and why? He is an FX experimental guitaris t, knowing that which one is better for him? I'm a complete noob when it comes to digital proccesors and I just want him to have the best Thats why I need your help Thanks in advance. :)

For the longest time I have had huge problems with my Pod HD 500. I am constantly hearing excess and un-needed noise whenever I am playing on a clean patch (and I can only assume it is happening on distorted patches although you can't hear it). No matter what amp model I'm using, the noise is persistent. I always thought maybe the pickups on my guitar are too hot, but as a raise or lower the pickups, the problem still occurs, even if I enable the PAD switch. I do not believe the pod is clipping for I have the volume knob at about 60% and the mixer volumes (VOLUME A & VOLUME B) set at -5 db. I have all the latest updates and I honestly do not know what to do. I have recorded an example the sounds I am hearing so it can give a clearer indication of what I mean. I will post the link. I recorded a direct signal with a clean patch from the Pod to my interface.Then I recorded the same riff, but with everything on the signal chain disabled. Lastly I recorded my guitar directly into my interface. When it is the completely dry signal from my guitar, i do not hear any additional noise so I can only assume its my Pod. Please help. I would like help regarding an issue with my setup. I bought a Pod UX2 because I thought it was a great investment. I love the guitar recordings I can get out of pod farm and even bought metal shop because I love it so much. Ive become more professional lately and have wanted to get a better mic, which is where my issue is. I would like to get a Shure SM7B mic, however it requires more gain (I believe around 55 or 60 from what ive heard). and the UX2 doesn't appear to have that much. I think the ux2 has 20 and then 25 more with the phantom power? I might be wrong, id love someone to correct me on this. anyway my questions are. 1. Is there a way to get a shure sm7b mic to get preamped enough to record solid vocals with the ux2? 2. If I cant get the gain. I will need a new interface. But I would still like to use pod farm. can I buy a licence so I can use my pod farm and metal shop? or do I really have to buy them all over again. I would love help on this as I very much love line 6 products. but I need the required gain to record more than just guitar. Thanks!
