Hi, I am developing an app to control my HX Stomp on my tablet (android) There's any documentation regarding the protocol used by hx edit to for example: download/restore a backup/setlist upload an ir file get the parameters and informations? Is any of this accessible via midi? (maybe with a syshex message?) In another thread a Line6 developer was talking about the fbv protocol... If anyone wants to help also... Cheers, Nick

I'd like to know if there's someway to connect my helix lt to my pc wirelessly? The usb cable is becoming a pain to deal with....I was wondering if there were any hardware solutions to extend usb wirelessly? Cheers

The DigiTech whammy is on the Pitch/Synth section. It would be really awesome to see the Bass Synth Wah on the helix software. -
Hello, In a stereo setup, I need to use mono effects on one side only. Let's say this last position reverb : The only option I found is this one, but I have to use one normal output and one send output, that seems strange to me, with opposite pan. Nevertheless, the stereo effects works normally and this last reverb is only on one amp. Is there a way to modify the outputs to set two "Main L/R" and then balanced them in their settings ? Thanks a lot.

Qualquer edição que eu faço em um banco ele economiza automaticamente em todos os outros bancos. Eu não sei o que fazer. Preciso de ajuda.

So, HX Edit 2.92 will not open and all the patches on my Helix Rack mount disappeared. The solution I found to this, is to uninstall HX Edit 2.92 and reinstall it. While booting up Helix make sure there are no SD cards/USB Drives/Other Interfaces/Unnecessary external devices plugged into your computer, as for whatever reason Helix will try to pull information from it like it's Drive: C on your computer and will not load correctly on the Unit or HX Edit 2.92. This is very bizarre and I've read the forums, this is the only fix I found and am not sure what else can be done. I heard the programmers are aware of this issue I'm not sure if it's a Windows 10 problem, an internal battery was almost dead and went buggy from not being turn on in over 2 weeks or if it is a software issue but I'm just curious if anyone knows anything about the new patch update and when it will possibly be released? Btw, I'm runding newest version of Windows 10 on a Dell Inspiron 1500 with the Helix Rack Mount and HX Edit 2.92

Hi , I'm getting this message when importing IRs into HX Edit purchased from Marketplace : "HX Edit was unable to import this IR because the required license was not found" I am singed in on HX Edit on version 2.90 (firmware Helix LT 2.92) and I see an authorization code in My Orders for Suhr 4×12 Cabinet Vintage 30 IR. Can anyone tell me what I am missing here ? All other IRs from 3rd party vendors import like a breeze ... Thanks ahead ! rgrds, Daniel -
First off I would like to say how difficult it was to navigate this website. I am by no means a newbie to forums and it probably took me 10 minutes to figure out how to post a question. With that being said, here I am. Here's the deal, I have an amp with an effects loop, a few pedals, and a studio setup with monitors and an audio interface (Scarlett 2i2). What I would like to do is use my amp with the 4 cable method AND have left and right output from everything (amp, pedals, helix) going into the front of my interface. I haven't been able to find any guide or resources on how to do so. At the very least I would like to know how to set up the helix with my workstation without having to reconnect my monitors to the helix as it is massively impractical. Also I am confused on how the edit software works when using 4 cable method, Do I need to go into every single preset and add the effect loops block? Is there some sort of master setting I can switch so I don't have to manually go through and set everything? This hardware and software seem like extremely powerful tools but there is a massive learning curve that is discouraging and frustrating, so I'm sure you all can understand my annoyance. Thanks in advance.

So I'm in my HXEdit, I'm logged into everything I need to be, I've purchased my preset+IR, it's been downloaded and activated but I keep getting the following message whenever I import either the preset or IR. "HX Edit was unable to import this IR because the required license was not found. The following product packs are available for purchase from Helix Marketplace: * 64670" As far as I can tell I'm doing everything I should be but is there something I'm missing? Also I'm using the HelixLT and it's fully updated. And the preset in question is the Bill Kelliher Live Rig+IR pack and is compatible with my gear. Please, let me know if you have any ideas on how to fix this!

just updated my hxfx to 2.91 smoothly...however, I noticed that when I use HX edit, it always disconnects my HXFX after some time... i have to restart my HXFX everytime this happens...is this a software or hardware glitch? i've tried 4 USB cables already and have tried the ports at the back of my PC ... im running windows 10

With all the warnings around the Helix 2.8x updates, I wanted to make sure I have the right thing. I downloaded the HX Edit 2.82 for Mac from https://line6.com/getrelease?rid=9314&uid=1649899 , I checked the MD5sum and it does match cb992f884c2cf0c94ea07712a3e3b93e, but when it installs, it says it is 2.81 during the installation process and from the About menu option. I think this is the right version and it just didn't get updated correctly, but I'd like it if someone else could confirm, before I update my firmware and have a mismatch.

Has anyone else noticed that if you set a custom name for a model in Workbench, the Helix onboard screen shows that but HXedit continues to show something like Custom_4 etc ? -
I only just noticed that in HXEdit the amps and cabs are now grouped into Guitar and Bass categories. Is that new in 2.51? It's a good idea either way. Craig
