  7. What are LIne6 software plans to provide edit POD HD software for IOS, iPAD , iPhone. I plan to buy the POD HD500x and see this as a important criteria. Any demo / beta test available? Regards Marcel
  8. I hope this is something obvious... do I have to log in online to use my Amplifi? I get that I would not be able to use the cloud features offline, but it would seem obvious to let me program my app tones without having to be logged into Line6. Also, if it's not there (haven't found it) the app should save your login credentials and default them when you open. It seems to clear them every open/close of the app. I have not spent a ton of time with it, so this may be operator error. Also - PLEASE add a PC/Mac application with USB connectivity at some point. The iPad app works well, but hardware updates and os updates are too frequent (also, some people would prefer Android, etc.). To be a serious tool, I think you need to have a computer based application to fall back on as well. Otherwise, I really am enjoying my Amplifi 75.
  9. The manual and marketing pages never say whether the iPad (or whatever) has to be connected at all times with the Amplifi FX100, or if you only need it for programming or streaming audio. Can you use the FX100 by itself for a gig, with the presets that are already defined? Or does it need the iPad to function in all circumstances? -Rob
  10. I was noticing that when connected to the iPad and controlling the setup that I don't see the spectrum analyzer on the EQ screen like I do at the same time it is on the M20D... Is this normal? I use the EnGenius EUB9801, is it the same if you use the airport express router?
  11. I have a Spider Valve MKII and I want to record my guitar during band practice to my iPad or Macbook. I have an iRig however I definately some other interface. What are my choices? Basically, recording from my guitar to the iPad is how the iRig is designed so I need to add my amp to the equation. Any help is greatly appreciated, Thank you.
  12. I currently use my computer via midi connection and the spider valve mmii edit software to edit my Spider Valve MKII 112 & 212. I would like to my my stage setup more streamlined (without my Macbook) and use my iPad. Can it be done? If not, I am curious about other stage setups via Line 6 hardware & software.
  13. Anyone have an update on whether there is anything planned for Ipad or tablet? I don't know how Line 6 feels but the abilty to run on a tablet from a mic stand is something I have waited for since purchasing the POD. A alaptop is just too bulky for a gig.
  14. Hi there, I just received a nice ipad mini retina for christmas and I would like to know how I can connect it to my amazing Pod HD 300. I have tried to plug directly via USB using the USB photo adaptor... but not recognized by the tablet... What can I do? ... 15. I have updated the firmware 2.0 for DT50 and installled the controll app on my Ipad. I am now able to modify the pre amp, cabs and reverb on my DT50. It works perfectly on channel A. But on Channel B I can only select the pre-amp. It does not react to cab, reverb or mic selection at all. I have the same problem on my DT25. Has anyone experienced the same. And more importantlynis there a solution?
  16. Today we played 2 gigs back to back both outside.... 1st gig I got setup did a 20 sec sound test and had a little trouble getting the iPad connected, it took about 5 min connecting and reconnecting plugging and unplugging usb stick and turning on and off wifi on iPad, finally connected and walked out front of the stage and played back the 20 sec track and every time the track played through it would disconnect the iPad and then when the track would restart the iPad would reconnect until I would stop the 20 sec track and it would stay connected... weird huh? Now the WOW!!! I didn't need to change a thing it sounded GREAT!!! :o since the last gig we did was inside I haven't changed any settings and it was perfect even out side. Got to the second gig and setup and just played. This system is so awesome!!! when I told my wife at the first gig that I didn't make any changes to the mix and how cool that was she says " isn't that why you got it?" YES!!! THAT'S EXACTLY RIGHT!!! B) What a load off my shoulders to not have to mess with that as well as everything else, just set up and play, I can't say enough about how glad I am about having this rig... THANK YOU LINE 6!!! I look forward to gigging around and not worrying about the mix anymore. sure I'll check it but that just makes me keep on appreciating what the Lord has made possible... THANK YOU JESUS!!!
  17. Deutsch Français With the release of Apple's iOS 7, Apple added a new privacy feature that can disable audio input from our mobile interfaces. The problem occurs the first time you launch the app under iOS7 and above, if you do not allow iOS along with the particular app you are using to have access to the 'Microphone', than you will temporarily not be able to receive input from mobile interfaces. The solution is to make sure that you press 'OK' when you see this prompt, but this prompt only appears the first time you launch the app. If you did not press 'OK' on this prompt and are not able to receive input from your Line 6 Mobile Interface, than you will need to do the following steps: Tap your iOS settings button. Tap the tab for 'Privacy' located on the left hand side of the screen. Than tap the option for 'Microphone' on the right. You will than see a list of apps that have requested access to the 'Microphone'. Simply tap the switch next to each that you would like to use the Line 6 Mobile Interface with. Relaunch all of the apps that you would like to use your Line 6 Mobile Interface with.
  18. Anyone know if there are any compatibility issues with the M20d iPad app and iOS7?? I couldn't find anything on the Line6 news, FAQ or forum pages addressing the iOS update?? We have a live gig in a couple of weeks and I don't want to find out then if there are issues. To be safe, I'll probably just stick w/ iOS6 until after the gig.

  20. Hi All , I have a HD500 and i want to know if anyone had built a MIDI controller template for switching Banks, programs and more control of all patches ? There are many MIDI designers and controller apps for iPhone and iPad and i think it would be convenient to have MIDI controlling the presets on the HD and M fx. There are apps like TouchOSC , Lemur , Control , Midi Designer etc that can be used to build custom MIDI interfaces. I did a quick test with Midi Designer Pro and was able to send a Bank Change and Program Change and have the HD500 swtich to the right preset. Designing a flexible MIDI controlling template would be a big effort and is there a ready template for some app already built ? Also , does the HD500 let one vary the values with MIDI also ? Can the 4 knobs be mapped to sliders in the MIDI controller interface so that it would be very easy to change presets but even parameters on the fly right from the guitar ! Any ideas / inputs welcome ! thanks pat
