  1. I usually run my guitar through numerous tones I have created myself using Pod Farm (most are distorted), about a week ago I ran the program and the tone I would usually use and it sounded clean rather than distorted. I tried other tones to see if the issue would happen, and it did! I've tried plugging and unplugging it back in, different guitars and cables etc etc. But the issue still happens! It seems to be an uncommon issue because I've been searching for answers but none have come up! Anyone else hear about this problem?
  2. I need help with this issue, here is the story: I bought a Relay G30 system a few years ago, I tested it and worked perfect and I ended keeping it in a closet for may be 5 or more years. Now I just got it out and when I turn on the transmitter, it just gives me a solid yellow audio light and a solid purple battery light. I just learned from the online FAQ that this means it is on "change channel" mode. I have no idea how it went to that state, but it seems that there is no way to get it out of it. I already tried going from 6 to 1, 3 times on the channel selector, but it still stuck on those two solid lights. Also another thing I noticed is that when I turn it on, both lights go straight to those colors, they do not flicker or blink at all. I also suspect it is not bricked, because I took out the new batteries I put in and put some old batteries and the battery light went from purple to red right away, so at least that is a sign that it is still "registering" the low batteries. Please let me know if you have any step by step guide on how to solve this. Thanks!
  3. So recently purchased my AT2035 and Line 6 UX2. While I have some knowledge of audio interfaces, I find myself a bit lost when it comes to my microphone's specific issue. I have found that the microphone levels are very low and even with a volume boost it sounds rather low quality. I have tested my mic with no presets and it sounds very quiet reaching only roughly around -25 db. I have also tested various presets and have found using the default studio vocal preset to be the best; a bit louder, but still very quiet. It may also be important to note that the Mic 1/L Gain is in this position: Below I have posted screenshots of my UX2 audio interface and have given a small audio sample. The first half of the audio file is with no pre-amps or effects added and the second half contains the default studio vocal preset. I still believe the mic to be too quiet and am at a loss as to what is causing this. Any help is greatly appreciated! Mic.mp3
  4. Hey Guys i recently got a new phone, the samsung galaxy s6. I've installed the amplifi app onto this new phone, and tried to set it up to my amplifi 75, but the phone can't seem to detect the amplifier? I've updated my amp to the latest firmware, and the app is on the same update too. My previous phone (the galaxy s3) works fine the the amp, but I seem to be having issues with this new phone. Any advice?
  5. Has any one had any problems with the newest firmware update? I was on stage last week and my tuner came on in the middle of my song. It had not been touched I was actually about 5 feet away from it. It has happened a few times now. It is so not cool when the guitar goes mute in the middle of a song in a 3 piece rock band. It kinda gets noticed :)
  6. I cant get a USB-connection going in my DAW when I connect my amplifi tt to my computer via. USB. Thats my problem. It doesn't appear as a device in Reaper at all.. When I plug in my amplifi to my computer via. usb it tells me it fails to install unit drivers? I've had a lot of trouble updating my Amplifi to latest patch and Im not even sure it's done correctly. I tried locating amplifi drivers and updates on my PC, in the hope that I could do it manually, but nope. Line 6 dont have any software for amplifi products available for downloading I guess. Im very frustrated, please help
  7. Overview: I use an M13 normally without any issue running into a Fender Blues Deluxe Reissue. Read about the 4CM method and wanted to test it since the Blues Deluxe has an effects loop, so I ordered a pedal snake. Got everything set up where it tested fine without adjusting where the send/return fell within the individual effects (FX) banks (i.e. Pre-all). So, then I went into the M13, set up a new scene for testing. For each FX bank, I dialed in the same effects: phaser, chorus and flanger at default settings so no matter what effect bank I chose, each effect would be at the same settings. I tested this and each bank played each effect properly. (in order, bank FX1/phaser, bank FX2/phaser, etc.) I then went into scene setup and set the effects loop for PostFX1, and went to test the difference between the effect in FX1 and FX2. Immediately I heard that FX2 was not applying the effect. The same occurred for FX3 & FX4. I then tested the chorus and flanger similarly - FX1 played the signal with the effect applied while FX2, 3 & 4 played the signal without the effect. I can't figure out why this is happening - I am guessing it is some simple setting but can't find it. Can anyone help?
  8. Has anyone experienced this issue? I have a HD500X patch using one Bomber Uber preamp with no cab and a few effects. Sometimes, after playing for a few minutes, the sound from my DT amps get extremely muffled and extremely quiet only when using this specific patch. The following behavior seems odd: If I switch to a different patch that uses a different amp model, the rig sounds 100% normal. Then... when I switch back to the "problem" patch it also sounds 100% normal... for a while until the problem happens again IF the problem happens again. The problem sometimes appears, sometimes not, it's not consistent. My setup: Variax or regular guitar - HD500X - L6 link - DT25 combo #1 - L6 link - DT25 combo #2, both amps running in low volume mode. If I plug directly into either combo amp and disregard the HD500X entirely, the amps work A-OK and sound great. Just curious if anyone else has stumbled across this, perhaps on other amp (or preamp) models? I don't have my rig nearby right now, but the one thing I remember changing in the patch that might affect the DT25's was that I selected Topology IV instead of the Uber's default Topology III. I don't think that should matter, just thought that info might help. Thanks!
  9. Hello everybody, I have a problem with my Pod HD500X patches while using it during a live gig. When I need loud sounds for live situations (master volume at 2 or 3 o'clock) I have feedback issues and I cannot mute strings properly without larsen or high feedback sounds even if I am quite far from my cabinet. I am not trying to replicate a wall of sound, I only need the right amount of volume to be heard over the drummer in a gig in pubs or small/medium venues without cabinet amplification. I know that there are other similar topics in this forum, but all solutions suggested seems to fail. Here is the detail of my configuration: Guitar (Ibanez RG970QMZ) -> POD HD500X -> Rocktron 300 Poweramp (or EHX 44 Magnum poweramp) -> MesaBoogie 1x12 200W Cabinet All my cables are brand new (I already tried to change all of them, without resolving the issue). During gigs I use a mic for the voice, but I tried to turn it off and it doesn't resolve the issue. I already reinstalled firmware and Edit software. Input1 is Guitar and Input2 is Guitar globally set (I have both single and dual patches). Output is set to combo power amp. The problem occurs only with high gain patches (no problem with clean sounds). Here is the patches (generic scheme): Hard Gate -> Screamer (gain around 30-40%) -> (eq eventually) -> Uberschall / Treadplate (gain around 60-70%, channel volume at 90%) -> mixer (pan centered, levels at 0) -> eq -> delay / reverb. As soon as I approach the strings to the pickups it starts the squeaks and while playing I cannot make any pause. I also tried to insert two or three more hard/noise gates in the chain but no changes. If I deactivate the screamer the issue problem persists. The only way to solve it is to lower the patch volume. I would really appreciate any suggestion to resolve this annoying issue. Thank you very much and sorry for my rusty english (hope you understand anyway).
  10. Had an issue the other day playing a festival where my rig dropped significantly in volume during a set. I haven't had this issue in the past. Luckily our sound guy was able to boost me in the main but still a concern. Signal Chain: Guitar > T.C. Electronic Polytune > Boss NS-2 > Pod HD500 >Crown XLS 1000 (running Input Y/Bypass into 2 cabs) What happened: Was playing fine at a normal volume, after a song I used my Polytune to tune. When I turned my tuner off my volume had dropped significantly. I don't believe it has anything to do with the tuner or NS-2 causing a sudden volume decrease as my tone was still the same (as I use the Pod as an amp modeler) all I had was a level drop. Is this an issue with the Pod? I updated firmware about 2-3 months ago but I will be updating tonight and will be downsizing to one cab which will hopefully resolve the issue but I was curious if this is a known issue with the Pods.
  11. Hi everyone and thanks for taking a look at my problem, I recently acquired a Toneport UX1. I installed the latest drivers from the website. However, when listening and recording the raw sound from my guitar, no effects added, I get no sustain what so ever, it is almost like the UX1 has a built in noise gate... I have tried the UX1 in two computers, using windows 7 and windows 8.1. I get the same result. As you can hear in this recording, when I play a chord and let it ring, the sound dies within a couple of seconds. I do not stop the chord ringing, the sound just stops by itself. Also at the end of the recording I play a single note quickly, varying the strength of the pick with the strings. When I play the note soflty, it does not make any sound whatsoever. (Also note the ugly noise made when I play the chords. Maybe I'm just playing too hard?) Did I get a broken UX1? Am I doing something wrong? Any help is appreciated. Thank you. 12. Hi everyone, when I turn on my DT 50 head all lights are going on as usual, then the relays are clicking to load the current amp setup. Afterwards, normally the amp is ready to play, only those lights are on for the switches etc. that are currently set. In my case the head is just repeating that boot sequence over and over again. Meaning, all lights are going on again, click-click-click, short break, then the same again a.s.o. Does anyone know that problem or has an idea what could be the reason for that? Thanks in advance, Bernd
  13. Hey, so my DL4 cut out the other day and I've opened it up to find that batteries have exploded and leaked acid all through the pedal. The circuit is pretty burnt and it won't start at all. I've only ever run it off a line 6 official power supply. And am always super careful with the unit. Has anyone else had any problems like this? Also, being based outside of Europe, or the USA. There is no number or emailing address for me to get in contact with line 6 about the issue. If anyone could shed some light on where I can get in communication about customer support, that would be fantastic! Love the DL4, I just want to get it revived :(
  14. Hi, I'm trying to use pod farm 2 with a direct connection from my guitar to my computer via a Tracklink Guitar to USB Interface USQ-110 and using ASIO4ALL for compatibility, but the latency makes it unusable. I've tried everything I can think of in order to get it down. I've tried turning the buffer rate all the way down to 64 samples and switching to Reaper, but neither worked. Is there something I'm doing wrong? Please help!
  15. Hi to all , I just purchased a DT25 head and I am trying to connect it to Monkey to see what firmware I have. I first tried using a cheap Chinese ebay cable and I was getting no lights on the midi side. I went out today and bought a hosa midi to usb converter and I am having the same issue. No lights on the Midi side, just on the usb side. I connected Midi in of converter to Midi out on the amp and vice versa for the Out. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks again.
  16. I noticed my presets were noiser than usual. I thought maybe it was just my house because I get grounding noises frequently in my room. As I was building a new preset I noticed the noise gate isn't working at all. Don't tell me I'm the only one?
  17. I've read that the looper will ignore your selected effects if you record your loop in "POST" mode. This isn't true for me. No matter what mode I record a loop in, it ALWAYS takes on the patch that I have selected. If I record pre, it just records my dry signal, and then when I switch back to normal effects mode, it sends that loop through my effects along with my live guitar input. If I record in POST, it records my signal with all engaged effects, and then when I switch back to normal mode, it passes that EFFECTED signal through the effects AGAIN. Distortion X2. This makes the looper pretty much useless to me. I can't seem to find any posts regarding the same problem. What am I doing wrong? Thanks in advance.
  18. Hello, new pod owner here. Upgraded from GT-10 to pod HD500x. I've had my HD for 2 weeks now and have downloaded and constructed a few patches using my headphones. When i play thru my monitors, my patches sound the same regardless of what amp sim I use. The tones sound muddy and thick. (to much bass.) Last night my wife was listening and told me my speakers sound like they have a towel draped over them. I turned the bass down on the unit itself and no change. Turned the tone knob up, no change. All i could do was laugh and make fun of my new piece of expensive gear I begged to purchase. Then I started started twisting the master volume nob clock wise and counter. Back and forth, back and forth increasing and decreasing my patch level. Suddenly the sound woke up no more bass or mud in that particular patch. I haven't tried this technique on any of the other patches yet. What gives? Does anyone else have this problem?
  19. Hello, I've had my Spider IV 15w amplifier for more or less 3 years. Recently, I've been noticing that the settings and effects on the amplifier are overlapping on the tones, even if those tones have no effects at all. Let me explain with an example: My 'Clean' tone has Chorus activated and also a bit of Reverb, and it is saved like that; My 'Metal' tone has no Primary effect and it has a bit of Delay. It's also save like that; The knobs on the amplifier remain with the setting I left for the 'Clean' tone; If I play the Clean tone, there is no problem, and the settings remain the same, but if I suddenly switch to the 'Metal' (or any other) channel, I can play that setting as I saved it for some seconds, but then the settings for the first channel (the settings the knobs indicate, actually) kick into the 'Metal' channel. As a result I get my 'Metal' channel, which was saved to have just Delay, to now have Chorus and Reverb instead. I have tried resetting the amp to factory settings a couple of times, and it works for some days, but then goes back to the same issue. I've also checked for loose cables or connections and there are none, and the amplifier has never been damaged in any way. And just recently, it has been stuck on a Flanger effect I can't seem to take off my tones, even when the knobs are not on Flanger. Has anyone had this problem too? I'd be very grateful to whomever provided me with a possible solution to this! Thanks in advance.
  20. Hi, I am experiencing a very important issue with my flextone III During the last 30 days it just restarts... first I thought maybe it was the power cable and it doesnt connect well. Tried a different cable but the problem persists... Yesterday it stayed off for some time before it could power again. When I turned down the switch the normal sound on the back clicked, if this does help, and after a while I could power the amp again. I now dont know what to do, I use this amp for gigs and I dont what this to happen during a show... I was lucky enough that it didnt happened on my last gig a couple of weeks ago!
  21. I just purchased a pod hd 300 and after some time there no display the rest of it is working fine with pc but no display in its screen (lcd thingy )
  22. Same thing happened when I updated to firmware 1.10 when I loaded the firmware it restarted two times and then just sits saying M20 D is starting, now been waiting for over an hour still says it, last time I turned off the system and turned it back on and seemed to work okay. Just wondering if anyone else has had the same issue I will try and reload the firmware update after I reboot, after reboot the M20D came on went back and ran the update again update went through successfully and completely without having to turn it off. Wondering if anyone else's same problem
  23. Vetta II Post Delay Mix Issue On some patches with POST DELAY active, you will notice that if you turn DELAY off/on, the perceived mix will jump to %100. Please follow the steps below when the problem patch is active to resolve this issue: Select FOOT CONTROL. Scroll to Page 4 that say PEDAL 1. Use the black knob under DEST to assign PEDAL 1 to a different parameter (an fx you are not using on the patch), Go to page 5 and if PEDAL 2 is set to POST DELAY MIX, follow the same instructions above. Select SAVE twice to save the changes. Gain/Drive Reversal When Using Line 6 Edit Drive and gain for distortion effects are reversed when loaded into Line 6 Edit: After loading a tone or changing the model selection, the drive and gain values for distortion effects are reversed when comparing the amp display to Line 6 edit. When adjusting the drive or gain using Line 6 Edit or the amp, the correct control moves and jumps to match the value of the one you are moving. This effects all distortion effects, and also happens when loading a tone.
