  3. Hello! I've bought a TONE PORT UX2 from Craigslist (not a new hardware) but didn't receive any CD/DVD media with CUBASE LE and POD FARM software from the seller. Anyone know if it's possible to request a new license from Line6? Thanks
  4. Base info: System: macOS Mojave 10.14.2 Hardware: MacBook Pro 2016, Line 6 Pod X3 Pro Line 6 driver version: 7.6.8 Line 6 Monkey version: 1.78 Line 6 License Manager version: 1.13 Line 6 Monkey does not recognize installed driver and connected device, same as License Manager. However Pod is avaiable in System Preferences as Audio-MIDI Device and works perfectly with Pod Farm 2.59. Because of problem with License Manager i cant use full version of Pod Farm. On Windows laptop everything works like a charm (via usb 2.0 and usb-c connectivity). Any ideas what is wrong with License Manager on macOS Mojave?
  5. So, I recently got the UX2 and a mic, and I have installed Line 6 POD Farm and every time i launch it, it says: does this mean i have to purchase a license? but, dont i get a free license when I activated my ux2 to my account
  6. well, I tried to set up my pod farm on my new computer setup. I haven't tried to install any of the software onto this rig yet. Upon doing so, I had an issue with the device staying authorized and with pod farm 2.5 also not being recognized as licensed even though I have the licenses for them. I was wondering if anybody had any insight into why something wouldn't stay authorized. I did deauthorize my PC and attempted to reauthorize it/the ux2 and now I have no dice.
  7. Hello, I purchased the Line6 POD UX2 via http://www.thomann.de on 3/30/18. It was described with "including Line6 Software POD Farm with "FX Junkie" model pack, 18 Amps, 64 effects, [...]". So i registered my UX2, downloaded PodFarm 2.5, which came with a CD and Line6 Monkey. But when I start PodFarm it says "no PodFarm 2 License found". So i only got a Trial Version of the Software, which only includes 3 Amps, 2 Preamps, ... how can i get the full Version, which was described on the Website i bought the UX2? I don't want to buy it seperately, when it should be included with the UX2 device. I also tried to uninstall PodFarm and download the latest Version via your Website. Thanks for your help.
  8. Hi , I own POD X3 and Toneport DI . Is it possible to transfer the license Of POD farm2 on my X3 to my toneport DI
  9. Helix Native requires an internet connection to initially authorize the license both for the demo and full versions. Once the license has been authorized, you no longer need an internet connection to use the software. But, because of how the authorization works, you do need an NIC (Network Interface Controller) enabled. Do not disable your network card (wireless or LAN) when running Helix Native. If you want run without an internet connection, just unplug your LAN cable or disconnect from your WiFi network.
  10. I'm about to sell my UX8 because I just don't do any recording anymore. My question is in regards to the software that came with the device. I still have the software disks that originally shipped with the device, but I'm not sure whether or not the software licenses can be transferred to the new owner. Will he be able to just install the PodFarm and GearMonkey (or whatever they're called) software from the disks and authenticate it since he'll have the physical unit plugged in, or would he have to purchase licenses to use the software?

  12. Hi there! I´ve recently bought a used TonePort UX1,(the one with the red front) and I have a mac with OS X Yosemite. I hace all the drivers updated, the License manager with all the devices authorized and the Line 6 Monkey. Even though, for some reason Pod Farm 2.58 is in trial mode and doesn´t give me a license to get the complete features that I "deserve". Can someone help me? Thank you vey much!
  13. Hi guys, I've recently bought a Pod HD500X and have installed some software to go with it (license manager, monkey, HD500X Edit, PodFarm 2), but I can't seem to license PodFarm 2. I've uninstalled and reinstalled it, and unauthorized and reauthorized my computer, but I can't get it licensed. The application opens but prompts me to buy a license for the unauthorized software (which I already have from buying my Pod). Not sure if there's something simple I've completely missed or if it's a bit more of a tedious fix, but any help would be greatly appreciated! Just want to get recording :) Thanks in advance, James
  14. So my computer crashed not long ago and needed to get it fixed and re-installed. I have a Line 6 Pod Studio UX2 that was authorized on my old ID (before the computer crashed), but since it crashed I couldn't deauthorize the device before reinstalling. Now I can't complete my deauthorization because it tells me to deauthorize the device through the other computer (which is the one I am using now, but reinstalled with new ID). What does this mean? Does this mean I can't use my device at all because I can't complete the process? Please help, I have been looking for anyone with he same issue, but with no luck. I was hoping to just deauthorize through my account on Line 6 and then authorize the device again on this new ID. It would be really unfortunate if I have to buy a new POD because of this...
  15. Hey,, I've been using PodXT and gearbox for a long time, (Which had the power pack included) but recently I felt the need for more tones and options. I bought the rest of the packs and decided to have a go with Podfarm. I'm unhappy with my choice because Podfarm has turned out to be quite a heavy program, not to mention it requires me to load it as a plugin in Logic which is quite a waste of much needed CPU power. I was happy with using Gearbox and recording the already processed audio into logic, which I'm unable to do now; I have to process a lined tone for each guitar I have (Sometimes up to 6 different at the same time) in the recording software itself. That's not working for me Is there a way I can transfer the licenses in my Podfarm program to my PodXT and use the packs in gearbox? The tones don't matter since I make my own tones anyway. Thanks, FF
  16. Hi Guys, I currently use a Pod XT Pro at home in the rack and I've just bought a second unit which I will use live. If I setup all of my presets at home in the studio on my first Pod, is there an easy way of replicating everything on to the second one? Also, will there be licensing issues over multiple Pods when it comes to purchased packs etc. I have a flight case for my Marshall 6101 which has a 2U rack built in, perfect for the Pod. I plan on using the Pod though the FX Loop on the Marshall with the Marshall set to the clean channel when I want to use some of the Pod presets, and then when I want pure Marshall valve tone, set the Pod to a clean preset and then shift the Marshall over to either of the Crunch/Lead channels. Is there anything I need to do differently on the Pod when going through the FX loop on the amp? I read somewhere about stacking preamps....... Any help greatly received!
  17. Hello, I am debating buying a used ilok license of PodFarm Platinum on Ebay, but I am worried about getting ripped off, or getting a illegal version of the program. Is there a way I can check the status of a license with Line 6 before I make a purchase, and can they do anything to keep someone from getting ripped off? Thank You
  18. Hi there, I've been using a TonePort KB37 for a while, but I have recently upgraded in MIDI controllers. I am hoping to sell my KB37, but have the following concerns for a prospective buyer: As the product was previously licensed/activated by me, will another user have any issues authenticating it on their own system? (It is just the controller, with none of the special model packs.) Thanks, john
  19. Hey all, So a while ago I purchased an iLok license for POD Farm 2.5 Platinum, and recently decided I wanted the benefits of one of their POD Studio interfaces as well, so I got the GX. It works just fine, but I don't have all the Platinum models any more...just standard POD Farm 2.5 models. Is there any way to fix this or do I have to buy a Platinum license specifically for the GX? I've had some issues with Line 6 licensing in the past...a little frustrated right now that I might have to again pay money for something I already own.. Thanks
  20. Hello I bought a Line6 UX2 last year, and it always worked good. On emonth ago my pc crashed, so I bought a new one and had to re.install all programs. A few days ago I installed again my UX2 with its PODFarm 2.55; I ran the licenser and IT authorized at once both the device and my new pc. First time I opened it, i found totally EMPTY the library where I found all guitar tones : Both the prests tones and those I created were missing! I closed it, and tried to open it again. It didn't open! Every time I try to run PODFarm, I receive an error message, you can see it attached. ' POD Farm failed to initialize L6TWXYframework. (Code 0x8000e00a) ' What does it means? How can have it working again? And even if starting again.... How can I get back all the guitar tones I had???? (presets and created ones) Please help me!! Thank you ver much to everyone could give me some direction! Federico
  21. A long time ago I bought a Toneport UX2, a handful of the expansion packs, and the ability to run Gearbox as a VST plugin. Right now I'm on extended travel and I am trying to find out if there is a way for me to run any the software that I've purchased in the past with a small non-line 6 recording interface on my mac via VST or otherwise? Thanks
  22. I'm trying to get an ilok license for podfarm. I already have the software because I purchased it when I was originally using it for a UX2. My UX2 unfortunately broke and I've been given access to the use of an ilok. I was hoping to be able to just buy the license, but it seems that there is only an option to buy the license with the actual program, which is $99. There has to be a way to just get a license, right?
  23. Hi I upgraded my POD Farm 1 tot 2.56 but I can't get all the amps. There comes an error and it sais I have to open the license manager, so I did but nothing happend.
