Any ideas? Or any rumours? I am hoping for the helix watch. Wireless, Uber light, with a sleek, sexy, Rolex appeal. What say you peeps?

I use a Helix floor and recently bought a Powercab plus for gigging. I like it, however, in my home setup, I use a pair of Yamaha HS8's and have usually built 'thick' guitar patches where I will pan one path hard right and the other hard left and add a 45ms delay on one and perhaps add two diff cabs (one with more bottom and one with more top) to each path. Another trick I sometimes do is add a slight pitch shift on the paths...say +6 cents on one path and -6 cents on the other. All in an effort to thicken that sound. This as I am sure you can appreciate, doesn't translate to one PC+. For the single PC+ I have rebuilt these patches by just using one path and panning it centre. Sounds great, but just not 'full' like I am used to. Not many people talk about using PC+ as a pair and not sure if this is the right way to go (including if playing live) as so many 'experts' online frown at a stereo guitar rig (although, what I described isn't stereo in the traditional sense with ping pong effects and drastic differences between left and right channel, just some tricks to fatten the sound. Any input you have on this would be soooooooo appreciated re: going PC+ times 2!!!

I've got a Line 6 Spider V 240HC with the matching 412 cab, and an FBV Express MKII foot controller. Im trying to figure out how to save certain amps to certain Letter Pedals. Like save cowboys from hell to a (or whichever) and save something clean, like acoustic rhythm, to another letter pedal, like b (or whichever) to where when im playing a show, i dont have to go back to my amp and switch from heavy to clean, especially when its quick changes in songs that cant be dragged out. Help is very much appreciated.

crickmay posted a topic in DL4 MkII / DL4 / MM4 / DM4 / FM4 / AM4 / ToneCore
Does anyone know how to determine the date of manufacture with Line 6 DL4's? I have two that I'm looking to find out about. -
POD UX2 Have posted this into Ticket Support, But also chose to post here In case anyone is able to help. Before going into my initial problem this the POD UX2 has been running without any problems on a previous computer. I wanted the POD UX2 program on second PC Namely Windows 8.1 so I am able to practice anywhere I wish to. Before any installation I did check out Line 6 Forum if I could run this on a second computer before I I read that it was possible that there was also no need to purchase a second license just run through the License manager which I have done and have ended up with the following problems. I had attempted to find a solution to the problems listed below, All all my searching or ideas tried gave no joy in any solution I have now decided to post this problem here. Line 6 Monkey Allows me to log into my line 6 account without any problems, which means there is an internet connection. So why is there a notice there stating “Could not connect to the Line 6 Server to determine if updates are available. Make sure you are connected to the Internet and click Check for updates” Really stupid considering the fact it recognises I have signed in. Now here is a list of all work arounds that have been tried None of which have solved nothing. 1. Disconnected firewall and Antivirus. NO JOY 2. Restarted PC after removing Program. Reinstalled Pod Farm 2 2.59 from the Line 6 Website again no Joy 3. Uninstalled the new version of Line 6 Monkey 1.76 then installed Line 6 Monkey 1.65 NO JOY 4. Uninstalled drivers then reinstalled drivers. NO JOY On starting Line 6 Monkey I encounter the following problems. Line 6 Monkey is started / Searching for devices / It then displays Line 6 Monkey, No devices are detected. The drop down section only has PODxt of which I do not have a PODxt. There is nothing else in that field because obviously Line 6 Monkey cannot see the UX2 which is connected all lights lit up Click OK then into main screen click on updates. Message states could not make a connection to the line 6 web server Make sure you are connected to the internet. As already mentioned I am connected to the internet Reason (Code 80001019) Unrecognised file type. Click License manager and it authorizes. However, each time I close The UX2 and then restart I am asked to run the license manager which is all fair and good however what if I want to use this unit off line or didn’t have an internet connection. Somebody I am sure has sorted this problem but what is the Solution? I am sure Line 6 are not going to make updates for Line 6 Monkey knowing it has problems to which I am sure they would have solved well before now. So somewhere It has to be my system or something I am doing wrong, what that is I have no clue because I have followed everything about as closely as I could and had I know I was going to run into this problem I would not have bothered but there it is. So hopefully I might get some help in solving this problem, I certainly do not want to be putting in the license number every five minutes.

Hi, I've been searching everywhere but I can't seem to find an answer for this problem that I'm having, I really hope someone can shed some light on this. I've been having some trouble with my UX2, I should preface this by saying everything's working properly outside of the fact, input levels are normal, it's reading a normal output level, etc. So, my problem is that when I plug my headphones into the headphone jack (through adapters, yes) fully, the sound is so quiet and only really comes through the left speaker. When I plug in the headphones about 3/4 of the way in, they work perfectly fine like they used to. I suppose I could just record like this, but I'm worried that this may not be accurate sound, and I'd just like the sanctity of mind to know that I'm hearing accurate playback. Can someone please fill me in on what's going on, if this is a hardware issue, a jack issue, if this is a huge problem or not. Thank you.

Hey everyone. I currently use my HD500X in my studio for home use. I am going to jam with some friends and they have an extra Marshall Head and Cab there I can plug in so I was hoping I could use my HD500X so I can get the tones I want. I am not a Marshall fan and I don't feel like dragging my EVH, and Cabs over so I was wondering if I can use his Marshall head as a preamp and just run my settings which is amp and cab simulation to get the tone I like ? Is this possible ? What do I need to do in order to get this to work ?

Hey everyone, not sure if this is the right place for this but I'm in need of some help desperately and was hoping someone could give me an idea or two. I got a used Spider III 15 W amp today. It was advertised as needing repair or having a problem. When you turn the amp on you hear nada. The only time you hear anything is on the metal channel and it is an extremely faint noise. I have tried both the channel volume and the master volume trying to turn them about half way and ended up maxing them both out with no change at all. The speaker doesn't crackle or give any signs of a busted speaker. I did take a look at the speaker and board and physically nothing looks off. Anyone ever have any problems like this with any amp, including this one? I hope I can get it to working. Thanks. Any additional info I can add later. Wanted to update on what else has gone on. I tried to swap out the speakers thinking maybe the speaker had blown but that is not the case. I have been informed elsewhere that it is likely a circuit board problem so was wondering if anyone could point in the right direction. At this point I'm likely going to go seek someones help at a store or just leave it alone. Sucks to have just got an amp today that I can't even use

Hello everyone. I need help with how to wire my newly purchased Line 6 Helix and all my other gear. I am somewhat new to setting up all these effects, cables, noisegates and whatnot.. I need a specific step by step way to connect following: Guitar, Line 6 Helix, Mesa Boogie Gridslammer (Overdrive pedal to tighten it up), Ernie Ball Volume pedal, Ibanez Weeping Demon (Wah pedal) , ISP Decimator Pro Rack G (Rack mounted noise gate with 2 channels - This is the one I am having issue with connecting properly), DBX 266 XL (Rackmounted compressor) and last but not least my Mesa Boogie Triple Rectifier.... Which goes where? What goes in the loop? What does not? I could really use someone who knows his gear to help me with this cable nightmare. Thank you very much -Zilver90

So.. It's been awhile since i've used Snapshots.. I'd say quite a few months. I've been recording alot lately. Well, i'm having a hard time actually getting them to work for some reason.. It's a little hard to describe so i'll do the best I can. I don't know if I hit something by accident, but on all my presets that i've made, I typically use the "Stomp/Snap" setting. Now... it's still set to that setting, however the four bottom switches are just inactive.. There's no lights indicating that anything can be changed. I can no longer switch between snapshots while performing. The top switches work totally fine for stompbox purposes.. But the bottom ones aren't doing anything. The bottom ones however do work normally if I set them to stomps, just not for snaps. Any help would be awesome, I can't figure this one out.

Hello, I've just bought an egnater tweaker 40 and I'd like to use it for cleans and an amp model from inside the pod for a high gain metal sound. Can and should I do this? If so, how?

Hi Can someone tell me if this is true. Line 6 is now owned by Yamaha?

Received my helix under a week ago. And I LOVE the sounds so far. Lots of patches made and downloaded. Really love the ones I got from Glenn Delaune. I find myself constantly worried I'm going to break it or wear out one of the inputs or something. I see the occasional thread on people who have joysticks or exp pedals that have broken. Is this really that common?? I guess what I'm asking is this--how durable have you found your Helix to be? Am I being silly with treating it like a baby bird? I bought a case for it from BOSS that's pretty good. If that means anything. Thanks everyone!

Hello. Sound card Line 6 UX1 - I can not open more than one program (guitar rig, amplitube 4, ravelver, etc.). I run these programs, select the ASIO sound source and everything - the program crashes. Pod Farm 2 works. The sound and computer itself is authorized through the license manager, the driver reinstalled, the Windows too. Here are the pictures of errors: BIAS: AMPLITUBE:

I recently downloaded Line 6 Monkey off of the website and have went to install it however when I got to the page allowing me to check for updates it says it cannot connect to the internet even though I have and there are other tabs open on my laptop that are working just fine with the internet connection, I've tried disconnecting and reconnecting but it still says there's a problem and I have no active anti-virus' or anything that may obstruct it so i'm really stuck on what to do here?? :(

So I think I might know what it is, but I accidentally left my amp on when I left my house for vacation, when coming back a week later, the amp wouldn't power on. I found that the tube fuse was just fine, but the main power fuse was blown, so I got a replacement fuse, replaced it, blew again, I have 3 line 6 cabinets, all different speaker configurations, so I tried another cabinet, and the fuse blew again. What I think is, that the transformer is going out, but I see this might be a common thing for this amp? I mean, lets be honest I, ME, MYSELF left the damn amp on for what could have been a week, and it could have blown something. But if someone could point me in the right direction for troubleshooting, or where to buy a replacement and I can just do it myself? Thank you! Hetrickaj

A pod 2.0 manual I downloaded has the brit hi gain listed as a 1986 Marshall JCM 800 in the manual, but as a 1990 Marshall JCM 800 on the reference sheet. Any idea which year is the correct one modeled? I'm no amp tech, so is there really much of a difference between those two year's models? Here is a link to the manual. You can find the discrepancies on pages 2 and 3. http://www.rudebadmood.com/badges/POD_2.0_User_Manual-English.pdf

I am simply trying to accomplish a very good patch on my line 6 mk11 hd100 amp for the Gary Moore solo on his tune "still got the blues". I would like very specific settings including the values on the tone knobs " they display for such a short time" when trying to create a patch. Would appreciate any help getting that sustain and compression, clarity and drive. thank you Bobby Babineaux
