  1. I have my first gig coming up since I've had the Helix and I would like to start setting up some patches. I had an HF Effects previously and am confident about setting up 4CM with my amp, but I would like to set up a seperate DI output to the PA that also has an amp and cab sim in that stream. I think I know how to do it but any tips or outright rules and advice would be appreciated. I don't have a PA to test this on at the moment but we will have one for rehearsals in a few weeks so I would like to have this roughly sorted before then. I have searched the forums but seems difficult to find, for me anyway. Thank you!
  2. Hello! I'm desperately looking for a way to perform ampless. And since I'm in love with the pod farm 2 plug-in presets, I was wondering if there are any Line 6 pedals (or other ways) which have the same presets (or better ones ;-) ). Without having to install a laptop and the ux1 setup live. Thank you in advance! Benjamin
  3. Hi! I have an HX Stomp and a bunch of pedals (Drives, Mod, Time, etc). I want to route the outputs so that an output sends the signal with the amp/cab sim to FOH and the other output sends a signal without the amp/cab sim to a real amp. So, this is my signal chain: GTR -> HX Stomp(Comp + Octave) -> FX Loop L (All my drives) - > HX Stomp (Amp/cab + Tremolo) -> FX Loop R (All my mod/delay/time-based pedals) -> HX Stomp (Reverb) -> OUT If it's not clear enough, what I want to do is this: GTR -> HX Stomp(Comp + Octave) -> FX Loop L (All my drives) ----------------------------------------------------------> FX Loop R (All my mod/delay/time-based pedals) -> OUT L (To Amp) ยบ--> HX Stomp (Amp/cab + Tremolo) -----(Maybe here insert Loop R)--> HX Stomp (Reverb) -> OUT R (To FOH) Basically what I'm trying to do is use both my amp and the signal with the amp sim in a live situation with 2 independent signals. Is it posible? Thank you in advance! A.B.
  4. I am thinking of ways to use my Line 6 POD HD500x in a Live setting. My plan is to split the foot switches. Use 1-4: for the Clean effects. Chorus, Delay, Reverb etc. Use 5-7: for the Distortion/Overdrive effects. i don't really need many foot switches for effects because i like my distortion/overdrive as pure as can be, so i only need 2 or 3 spaces for effects such as: Reverb, Solo Boost etc. Footswitch 8: I can designate as an amp switcher to switch between my clean and my Distortion/Overdrive amps. Does this make any sense to anyone (see Jpg)?
  5. Hi, I've got today the L3t speaker. I have a Digitech RP1000 and in combination it sounds great. Here my question: Having the RP1000 (which is similar to a POD500) what is the best setup for a gig ? RP1000 --> Mixer --> and using the l3t as monitor or RP1000 --> L3t input --> L3t output ---> Mixer If I go first in the l3t and then in the mixer, does the L3t transmit the settings (mode, eq etc) to the mixer? Or shall I mic it like a normal guitar amp? Does somebody know? Thks in advance Markus
  6. Hey guys, so I just purchased a Pod Hd Pro Rack unit. I wanna run it through a live rig and all I have is a discontinued Line 6 Mk1 Bogner head, a peavey 5150 slanted cab and an EC1000. The head only has a preamp out and power amp in. Now I have seen many videos of the HD500 live setup with the 4 cable method but the rack unit doesnt have the same outlets as the 500. I have a few questions about all this. 1. What cables should I be using specifically for the 4 cable method(stereo, mono cables? mix of both?) and how do i connect them without hiss or airy noises( do i need to mod something on the pod hd as well to link with the cab better?) I just changed tubes so i know its not the head or anything digital thats wrong. The speakers in the cab are new as well. 2. The loudness of the amp reduces when i plug in the pod hd( also all hiss and airy noise is gone). Is my amp not suitable to power the pod hd? 3. finally is there a way to bypass the effects from the head and just use the power from the amp to run my pod hd's effects? This noob would really appreciate your help. Thanks guys!
