  1. It is an ir that is being used by Helix, but it cannot be imported from Helix Native. What should I do? The program I am using is Logic Pro x. plz help
  2. Hello, I recently purchased a Helix Floor and Helix Native license and am just getting started with using them with my MacBook Pro. Although they are both overkill for my playing/recording needs, I was originally in the market for some high-end effects pedals an Apogee GiO guitar interface, so buying a Helix Floor seemed like a better move so I can take advantage of all of the effects in one portable unit (not to mention all of the other features). The Apogee GiO is an older floor-based guitar USB interface for Mac that has programmable effects stomp buttons along with transport control buttons. It's a plug-n-play device for Macs using Logic Pro X, MainStage, and GarageBand. I ultimately chose the Helix Floor and Helix Native so I could do all of that plus take it with me for use with my Marshall combo amp. I have played around with the Helix Floor and the Helix Native plug-in and I love the common interface and ease-of-use. I have watched several YouTube videos on how to create your own macro buttons so I can use the Helix Floor to Record/Stop/Play, etc.;however, most of what I have seen are running older versions of the software, so the menus are somewhat different. My hope is that someone has built a template that I can use similar to what Apogee offers for their GiO product (they offer pre-built, downloadable templates). I understand how the Helix Native plug-in works with the Apple Pro Audio apps; but I need some help setting my my Helix Floor for basic, home recording use. MacBook Pro running High Sierra (10.13.2 Developer Beta) LogicPro X (10.3.2) MainStage 3 (3.3.2) GarageBand (10.2.0) My needs are very basic as I am just playing around at home. I am running the latest builds of the audio apps and appreciate any advice or feedback you can provide. Thank you so much! David
  3. Hello guys, I just bought a hx-stomp and i am very excited to use it. What I'm trying is to connect hx stomp to Logic pro and use yamaha 10 thr as a speaker. The way I did connect yamaha 10 thr to computer is through usb cable, so not using aux input; and the guitar is connected hx stomp in L Mono In. With this configuration logic pro works, i can record etc.. without any problem. But I'm not sure this is the right or best approach; may be i should connect hx stomp to thr 10 or connect thr 10 to computer using aux input ? I'd appreciate any kind of opinion on that. Thanks
  4. I have read ALOT of reviews/comments on connectivity issues with LogicProX. My main concern and question is, how well does the POD HD PRO X work with Logic via USB? Reviews have said M-audio interfaces/devices are not recognized anymore with the current updates in place. I know M-Audio is a totally different brand than Line6, but i have read that other audio interfaces have had the same problem, Logic recognizes them as an output device not a input. I would hate to spend so much money on something that does not work properly or as desired. I know this could also be a question for the Logic forums, but I'm sure some one out there can help answer these questions.
  5. Hello good morning :) Excuse me, I am completely new to the daunting experience of recording my own stuff. This means that my question (s) might come across as completely naïve but please bare with me. I have a Vetta II that I am familiar with. A macbook pro, retina (2014). A GuitarPort (very old but works fine) and M-Audio USB MIDI interface (Uno). I have just bought Logic Pro X because I wanted to start recording stuff (GB is not my cup of tea) so... To my question: How do I set up my Vetta II to run the sound to my Mac direct? As it is now the sound comes out of the speakers and the mic in my mac picks the sound up. That is not how I want it. I want the sound from Vetta that I have dialed in to be sent digitally straight into the DAW. Bearing in mind what I have and how little I know, can somebody please tell me how this should be done? I am extremely greatful for any help in the matter //z
  6. Dears, I have tried in the shop in HKG the HD PRO and it's the last piece available. I'm an happy user of the HD400 and I would like to ask a few questions before making the purchase. I'm in a hurry because if they sell the last one I need to wait 3 months....and I can't. I'm looking to a solution to have a quick way for dry and wet rec. these are the questions or better saying what I want to try to do: 1) first I need to say I'm using a MacBook Pro with Logicpro. 2) I would like to record in the same time using USB two separate tracks one with dry guitar sound and the other with wet (effected sound) 3) once the recording is done I would like to being able to keep changing the wet settings/effect (e.g. Distortion/reverb/delay etc...). I'm doing this now with the effects in the Logicpro effects, but I like only the POD sound via USB and I'd like to confirm if with the POD Hd Pro I can do it real time, e.g. I play the recorded guitar on logic pro (not sure if the wet or the dry track) and adjust the effects manually on the POd HD pro until I finalize the setting and effect I like. 4)some people at the store said its possible also with HD 400 but with some limitation...well which limitations? As you can understand from above question I need something easy and quick, and I need to be sure before purchasing. 5) im not using any Audio/interface, I connect the USB directly to the MacBook Pro do I need any interface to do what I asked above 6) last question, what is the other advantage to pass from Hd400 to HD pro? If this is not the right approach to do it, please feel free to suggest other ideas, ;) Sorry for the long message, I'm using a new account cause the last one apparently can't send anymore message. P.s. if you want to hear my rec. just search me on the social net.... I hope this is not spam hahah I love you for making such beautiful effect! Cheers Gio
