  1. The title said it all, i tried to change the sample rate via audio-midi setup, the audio settings and through multiple DAWs (in Ableton the 44,1khz setting is greyed out, in pro tools im not able to open the projects which are in 44,1 and in logic pro x it works to change the sample rate but i would prefer not using logic). So only 48000 Hz works on my Amplifi TT. This is really annoying do anyone know how to change this? Thanks for your help!
  2. Hi, so I just downloaded POD Farm 2.5 to my Macbook Pro. Before I start explaining my issues, I just want to say that the Line 6 support is absolutely horrible. I called 10 times, because every time i hit the number 2 for customer support, it wouldn't ring, and just say " I'm sorry, I didn't get your response". Okay, so my issue is that I can't get my guitar to work?? (I don't have a mixer, I read that you can do it without one on Mac?) I plugged my amp (Spider IV 30 WATT) into my computer using my ethernet cable, and when i went to turn my amp on, it would turn the amp off until i unplugged the ethernet cable. Then, I used a USB to regular guitar cable, which also didn't work. I'm sure you can tell that i'm not very good at this stuff, but i would like to make this work somehow. Thanks for reading.
  3. Has anyone had success with their Helix communicating with their mac (for anything)? I am using 10.9.5. I have tried both Helix app 1.0.3 and the new line 6 updater and neither are showing a unit connected (via USB). I think this is a line 6 issue because under 'about this mac/more info/system report/USB/' it clearly shows a Helix unit connected to the 'USB hi-speed bus'---so it's not a bad cord or an Apple issue. Consequently I haven't upgraded to the newest firmware (still on 1.0.4) or checked out you alls tones.
  4. I just installed Vyzex onto a 2012 MBP running El Cap. Plugged the guitar cable in, plugged the USB into the rear USB port. The Computer reports new midi ports available. My Pocket POD did not power up (it was working minutes before). Vyzex asks me to configure midi ports. Then offers a grey screen/window. LED next to TAP button flashes every second or so. Unit is otherwise dead. After removing the USB and powering the POD down, re-inserting the Guitar cable now cannot wake/boot the pod. The TAP light still flashes and is responsive to tap timing changes. Phones with a guitar in are dead apart from a faint "machine" hum. Tried factory reset. Nada. Any ideas on what to do next? The PPod is relatively new and the software undoubtably affected it.
  5. Anyone who knows if you can use a macbook or iMac to adjust the settings on Amplify instead of iPad or iPhone? That could be nice...
  6. Hi there, let me start of by saying that I absolutely love the Helix: The sounds, the ease of use, the flexibility, the looks! However, at this moment my Macbook pro and Helix don't communicate that well. The App is very unstable and crashes every few seconds/minutes when exporting or importing or doing nothing at all, can't find the Helix, disconnects and gives me messages like: "No symbol lookup table present for models and parameters", and so on. Today I installed the update and the problem persists, no worse no better, but just almost impossible to work with. I have a ticket open on this issue, so I'm expecting it to be solved anytime soon. I opened this topic, to see if anybody has found a practical workaround for this and to learn from other experiences. tnx!
  7. I'm having issues with Podfarm after updating to El Capitan. I plug my UX1 into my mac and i get the green light (which says its connected and supported.) However nothing appears in my system preferences audio inputs and when i open Podfarm it says it isn't connected (No sound either.) So i go to update my drivers and after i'm finished updated, before i restart, i get an error message telling me the CDSDAudiocapturesupport.kext can't be used or something. I've heard Roxio's products can affect this but after removing them i'm still having the issue, no sound, no input and when i restart the drivers say they HAVEN'T updated. Someone please, help, what can i do?! I run a small studio from home and we were meant to be recording tonight but instead i've spent tonight trying to fix this issue. Any ideas?

    Helix and Logic

Is there a known clock issue using this with OSX? Logic sees the interface but loses clock after a couple of minutes (at least I assume that's what is making the audio all jittery and daleky) Does anyone use this with Logic with no issues?
  9. Monkey tells me, that Flash Memory installed is unknown - update stops with code 80007104 The Editor isn´t working to, giving me back an Code 80000000 I´ve tried doing the update in Safe Mode holding down the "right side" of the directional selector and power up the Pod (leads to some "overview") holding down the "down side" of the directional selector and power up the Pod (leads to "Update Flash"). I´ve tried the original USB-Cable and another one. I´ve tried to click "NO" when it asks you the keep the current patches. Please help me ASAP!!! Computer-Details: OS-X El Capitan 10.11.2 (15C50)
  10. Hi all! Have been googling around about the dilemma I have regarding that I have to reinstall my UX2 drivers and PodFarm everytime I restart my computer... Anyone been dealing with this?
  11. I am looking for a multi effect pedal and the amplifi fx1000 has a big chance to be bought by me. I have an iMac but i can not find any software to make and change the effects of the amplifi fx1000. In video's they are always using iPads. Is there such an app or program for Mac? Is it possible to use the amplifi with only a Mac?
  12. Hello, When I launch my Cubase 5 on my mac with El Capitan, I have no audio input or output working with the Helix as usb interface. SInce Helix kinda works with Garage Band (with the beta for developpers 10.11.2 (Build 15C48a)), and since I can use Cubase 5 with a Roland Capture Duo EX USB interface (with and only with the same new 10.11.2 build), I suspect that my issue comes from Cubase 5 or Apple El Capitan which for some reason cannot interface well with Line 6 Helix. So I have 2 questions: @Line 6 : do you have any information regarding using Helix with Cubase on the latest Mac El Capitan OS? @Forum : Are there other people here who manage to use any version of Cubase (say 5 to 8) with the Helix on Mac OSX ? Thanks to all, Regards
  13. I've been using my Pod UX1 for about 5 years now with absolutely no issues. Today i updated to El Capitan and suddenly i'm getting no audio from pod farm and no visible input signal. Not only that but when i try to open Logic Pro 9 it scans all my audio units and then stops on POD Farm forever. It will NOT scan Podfarm. What is wrong here? I have all the latest drivers etc but it just isn't working. Should i try reinstalling podfarm or is it simply that Line 6 hasn't updated it yet? HELP
  14. I'm currently running the 4th public beta of OSX El Capitan which will be released to all Mac users in the near future. I've encountered an issue where the operating system is not able to use the POD HD500 as an external soundcard for music production in Logic Pro X or even just for general media consumption. I was going to chalk it up to it being an unperfected beta release but the curious thing is that my Native Instruments Guitar Rig audio device works perfectly fine. Will Line 6 release a driver update after the public release of the operating system? Have Line 6 had to do this in the past when new operating systems are released? Anyone experiencing a similar issue? Any feedback would be much obliged. Cheers, Jordan.
  15. Hey there -- I've been using the POD for a long time for live sound and have had a hard time finding a good, crisp clean tone. A friend suggested I download tones from the website. I bought a MIDI -> USB cable and plugged it in, used monkey, downloaded the software... and now it's not recognizing that the POD is plugged in. Any steps I'm missing? Do I also need to plug in the ethernet cable? Set the pod to midi? Do I need a second cable? This is the cable I bought: http://www.ebay.com/itm/360671860164 I definitely need this explained like I'm 5. Thanks! Jeff
  16. Hi all, First question posed to the Line 6 forums. Apologies if this topic has come up before but couldn't find it on here. I've recently bought a new iMac and wanted to install my Line 6 UX2. It was previously installed on my old computer (now dead). This iMac doesn't have a CD drive so I downloaded Pod Farm from the software section of this site. When it comes to installing said software and choosing where you want it to be installed it says that 'POD Farm can't be installed on this disk', despite this being a new machine and the HD having over 3TB of free space. And there is nowhere else you can select for the software to be installed. Has anybody encountered this before? And if so is there a solution? Many Thanks Mark
  17. Hi there! I´ve recently bought a used TonePort UX1,(the one with the red front) and I have a mac with OS X Yosemite. I hace all the drivers updated, the License manager with all the devices authorized and the Line 6 Monkey. Even though, for some reason Pod Farm 2.58 is in trial mode and doesn´t give me a license to get the complete features that I "deserve". Can someone help me? Thank you vey much!
  18. Here is how to update the Firehawk FX step by step: For Windows 7, 8, or 10 systems, please start with step 1. For OSX 10.8 and up, skip to step 8. 1. In order for your computer to see the Firehawk you will need to install the driver for the device to your computer. open a web browser and navigate to line6.com/software and select Product: Firehawk FX Software: Drivers from the drop down menus at the top of the page. 2. Pick the top selection from the next page by selecting "Get Download". 3. Accept the terms. 4. Pressing Control + J will bring up the downloads menu in most windows browsers, alt + command + L for Safari on Mac. 5.Disconnect your Firehawk from the computer if it's connected via USB and run the installer. 6. In the installer make sure the drivers from the Firehawk have a green check. Click next until the installer completes. 7. Reconnect Hardware when prompted and let Windows assign the driver. Now your computer will be able to communicate properly with the Firehawk. Make sure the Firehawk is turned on attempting when this. 8. Now, lets download the updater utility. Open your web browser, navigate back to line6.com/software and select Line 6 Updater under the software drop down menu. 9. Select get download under the top selection: 10. Accept the agreement. 11. Wait for the progress bar to complete. 21. Updater will let you know when the update is complete.
  19. Hey guys, first off I just wanna say I love Pod Farm and use it as my main go to for recording guitar track concepts for most of my songs so keep it up. Now the problem I have is that since I updated and restarted my computer my Pod Farm 2.58 platinum won't open on my mac Mini (late 2014 model). It continually gets stuck on loading without any progress. This happens both as a plugin in Logic X, Ableton, Cubase and as Standalone. Things I've tried so far are: Reinstalling Pod Farm Double checked the license manager Repaired Disk Utilities Open in standalone as mentioned before Computer mac Mini Late 2014 (winter) 2.6GHz dual-core Intel Core i5/ 8GB LPDDR3 onboard memoryM/1 TB HD/Intel Iris/Thunderbolt 2, USB 3/802.11ac WiFi + Bluetooth 4.0 (got more memory currently of course) Yosemite Latest version Pod Farm 2,58 But nothing seems to fix the problem. I hope you can help soon or hope there might be an upcoming update that fixes the issue.
  20. So Ive been having problems with L6 monkey when I try to update it on OS X. Now I notified Line 6 of my problem however that was two weeks ago so I figure this is the next best. When I click on the icon it bounces like it normally does in mac, but then nothing, no window, no nothing and I can't make it do anymore. I tried uninstalling then reinstalling and still nothing. I was hoping to update and maybe look at the new model packs but thats not looking very likely.
  21. Haven't been able to find a thread regarding the Backtrack Plus mic products: So I used to use my Backtrack with my Windows, but ever since I got a Mac OSX my Backtrack won't work. It won't save a recorded file onto itself, nor will it show it when I plug it into the computer. I read somewhere that its a known issue. I have fixed the problem before by going into the system log and deleting the file that my mac keeps downloading onto the backtrack but everytime i plug it in again, it just reloads the bug. :/ For right now i just want to know what the file is called so i can delete it again, and then i will be able to record, then i can upload to a windows since my mac is gibing me this issue. i dont know what file to delete is what im saying.
  22. Hi all, I'm going nuts trying to figure out why my computer will only recognize outputs 1-2 over USB audio. It started when I installed drivers on a brand new Mac running the latest version of Yosemite. On my old Mac, it had no problems recognizing all 8 outputs on the same version. I uninstalled drivers and reinstalled drivers and did everything short of a fresh Yosemite install to try to get it to work, but in both my DAW (Logic) and the system level Audio/Midi Inspector, it only shows outputs 1-2. I know another user on here has mentioned it in another thread--has anyone else encountered this and/or found a fix? I use multi-output to record and process wet and dry signals without having to screw around with latency issues, and this is killing my workflow.
  23. Guys first of all sorry I searched topics but none answered my doubts and I'm undecided whether I buy or not. To begin, I have a Windows phone, a desktop with Windows 8 and a Mac with Yosemite. None of these platforms gives to control the amplifier which is a bit weird but ready I'm willing to buy an android for this purpose, now I need to clarify the following doubts. 1- If I buy Mototola Moto G will be compatible with the amplifier (from what I read some say yes and others not)... 2- They are planning to release version for windows or mac? 3- How does the USB port work? I saw on youtube and everyone says it's possible to record, here in the community everyone says it isn't.. I need a little help please.
  24. hi there, i am trying to play my guitar on the macbook pro using pod farm 2.5 and guitar link ucg102 to connect the guitar to the mac, the problem is when i open the stand-alone pod farm and i select the ucg as my input device and the the macbook speaker as output and i apply the setting, i hear nothing, there is no signal... nothing and when i come back to the preferences, i then find as in the second picture, that the selected settings from before are blank now! and i have to select again! where is the problem exactly? ps: pod farm as a plugin is working fantastically in garabeband and logic pro!
