  1. Simple question here. I have a really awesome set of bluetooth headphones and just bought a Pod UX1 to compliment my Spider Valve MKII. I have opened Logic Pro X and also tried Garageband and noticed latency. I also noticed that Pod Farm will not work with the BT headphones at all. Like the original question asks, is latency avoidable? Also, is it possible to get Pod Farm to see the BT headphones. System is a MacBook Pro 2.8GHz i7 with 16GB RAM. Thanks everyone.
  2. I was happy to see that Line 6 finally added a computer-based version of the Spider V Remote app so that I can dig in deeper on my computer screen and change tones while using a DAW. There was also talk in the email that I received of downloading new tones from the customtone.com website to upload and use in the app. I have not found this to be true. The customtone page does not list the Spider V and when I try and download a tone I get a message that says "Valid product registration or software purchase required to use CustomTone. I have registered my Spider and so this message is quite confusing Love my Spider but please work out the kinks.
  3. Hi I can't seem to get my setup to work I purchased Pod Farm 2,5 Platinum standalone to use with my Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 v2 USB but when I try to set it up Pod Farm doesn't recognize the inputs. I can manually select the hardware to tell Pod to "use this device" but to no avail. I can get my interface to work well with Logic Pro X and GarageBand but I really wanted to to back to Pod Farm for versatility's sake on tone, and it's such a letdown that I can't get this to work at all. Anyone know how to fix this problem? Because I've tried EVERYTHING that the manual says setupwise and I'm starting to feel like I've spent 250 bucks for nothing and this thing doesn't work on Mac as advertised on standalone with this interface. I'd appreciate some help on this. Thanks in advance.
  4. Hey everyone. I got a POD X3 bean and a M-Audio UNO MIDI-USB interface and i'd like to connect them to my computer (which is a Mac). However, as far as I'm concerned, the X3 bean does not have a MIDI output/input (which is kind of odd since the lower-end POD 2.0 does) and I'm trouble here.. What I want to do is very simple: just use my headphones to listen to what i'm playing in my guitar through the POD and to music playing from my computer at the same time. If I connect my headphone to the headphone jack in my POD and connect the POD to my Mac directly via USB, I can use the POD as my soundcard, right? So any sounds coming from the computer would be played through the POD to my headphones in the same way my guitar playing would, right? Most of the time I'm just playing along songs I have here, and if i can just play something on iTunes and hear it on the same headphone I'm using with my POD that would be great, it would solve most of my problems. With this can I also record stuff (simple stuff, just using GarageBand or whatever...)? And I'd also like to know if there is any way around this MIDI problem with the X3.. I figured the MIDI would be a good way to control the POD via computer. Using direct USB connection, I cannot control the pod using the computer, right? Bummer... Is there anything I can do to this? Thanks!
  5. I'm using the latest updates on OSX, drivers, softwares and helix and you know, everything. When reamping helix in logic the audio starts to cut and pop and mess up after a while. First a little and gradually more and more. It helps when I initialize the core audio from preferences > audio settings. The I/O buffer is at full 1024 Why do I have to keep doing this? It does kill the workflow and sometimes recording the reamp is ruined.
  6. Hi, Recently I updated my system to a beta version of mac osx sierra and because of this I'm unable to use my pod hd bean. Line 6 Monkey is able to determine the device and shows options to update drivers. After updating the drivers there is an automatic restart and line 6 Monkey shows me the same old driver and gives an option to update. Have tried installing the drivers manually from the line 6 website but still the same issue. It is not possible now to downgrade the mac to older OS. Any help appreciated. Thanks!
  7. Hello dear users, Do one of you know a proper way to unplug the Line 6 Pod Studio (UX2) from a Mac ? Because sometimes it cause a crash, and restart the computer. Thank you in advance !
  8. I just installed Vyzex onto a 2012 MBP running El Cap. Plugged the guitar cable in, plugged the USB into the rear USB port. The Computer reports new midi ports available. My Pocket POD did not power up (it was working minutes before). Vyzex asks me to configure midi ports. Then offers a grey screen/window. LED next to TAP button flashes every second or so. Unit is otherwise dead. After removing the USB and powering the POD down, re-inserting the Guitar cable now cannot wake/boot the pod. The TAP light still flashes and is responsive to tap timing changes. Phones with a guitar in are dead apart from a faint "machine" hum. Tried factory reset. Nada. Any ideas on what to do next? The PPod is relatively new and the software undoubtably affected it.
  9. I'm using the Multi-output to USB and I notice that my dry signal is always coming through on the right channel. Even when my volume pedal is at 0% and my XLR outs are quiet, the dry signal still comes in over USB. Has anyone else observed this on their Macs? I've tried both custom and factory patches, and they both have this issue.
  10. I have An Apple MacBook Pro i7, running El Captain 10.11.6. I recently upgraded to El Captain and did not have any issues using GearBox with Yosemite. If I launch GearBox without my TonePort UX2 plugged into the USB, GearBox will start up just fine but when I plug the USB in for my UX2 I get the pinwheel of death. If I launch GearBox and have my UX2 plugged in before i launch, it gets stuck on "Initializing DSP" I downloaded POD Farm 2 and it woks but only in a trial capacity as I have not purchased the program, but it does works with Garageband. I can launch Garage Band and use my TonePort and the effects Garage Band has pre installed. All my drivers are up to date according to Monkey. It all seems to revolve around GearBox. Any known solutions to this?
  11. Anyone on MacOS 10.11.4 experiencing this? I know the Helix is connected and I know that the Mac sees it but the editor (almost always) shows this message. I opened a ticked with Line6 Support but I figured I would check if anyone else is having this problem and have a workaround.
  12. I've been using my Pod UX1 for about 5 years now with absolutely no issues. Today i updated to El Capitan and suddenly i'm getting no audio from pod farm and no visible input signal. Not only that but when i try to open Logic Pro 9 it scans all my audio units and then stops on POD Farm forever. It will NOT scan Podfarm. What is wrong here? I have all the latest drivers etc but it just isn't working. Should i try reinstalling podfarm or is it simply that Line 6 hasn't updated it yet? HELP
  13. I am running a tone port ux2 into logic 9 on El Capitan (10.11.6) with the most recent driver update for everything. My computer and logic recognize my tone port ux2 as an interface, but no sound can be heard and the level needles are not moving. Any solutions? I guess I should note that my computer will not allow me to install gearbox, which seemed to be key in past operating systems. Thanks
  14. Hi there! I´ve recently bought a used TonePort UX1,(the one with the red front) and I have a mac with OS X Yosemite. I hace all the drivers updated, the License manager with all the devices authorized and the Line 6 Monkey. Even though, for some reason Pod Farm 2.58 is in trial mode and doesn´t give me a license to get the complete features that I "deserve". Can someone help me? Thank you vey much!
  15. I've been using Reaper for years on a Mac without much of a problem. However, recently I switched over to a PC and I'm having trouble getting my POD HD500x's output to come through the computer built in output. It was very easy on a Mac, but I'm having trouble making it happen on WIndows 10. I don't want the audio to output to the POD, I want to hear it through the speakers.
  16. Hi, A few years back I was working on a track in Ableton on a PC. I recorded dry guitars through Gear Box Stereo, then added Pod Farm as a VST for tones. Now I am in a different country from that PC, I have a Mac and I have my old files. I have opened the session, it tells me it can't find Pod Farm or GearBox . I have deauthorized my old computer, authorised this one, downloaded a bunch of stuff (PodFarm 2.0. GearBox etc) Ableton will see the folders with all those things in them but won't recognise any files, only folder names, so won't let me drag anything onto a track and still says it can't find Pod Farm or GearBox Stereo. I try dragging the old .dll files from my windows hard drive across to the Mac but maybe these are Windows only .dll files, I don't know. What are the steps I need to take to get my Mac Ableton to open up Pod Farm and play the old patches I had? P.S. I don't have any of my line6 equipment with me, it's in another country, so Line6 Monkey doesn't want to hear about it. :) Any help appreciated.
  17. Hi, so I just downloaded POD Farm 2.5 to my Macbook Pro. Before I start explaining my issues, I just want to say that the Line 6 support is absolutely horrible. I called 10 times, because every time i hit the number 2 for customer support, it wouldn't ring, and just say " I'm sorry, I didn't get your response". Okay, so my issue is that I can't get my guitar to work?? (I don't have a mixer, I read that you can do it without one on Mac?) I plugged my amp (Spider IV 30 WATT) into my computer using my ethernet cable, and when i went to turn my amp on, it would turn the amp off until i unplugged the ethernet cable. Then, I used a USB to regular guitar cable, which also didn't work. I'm sure you can tell that i'm not very good at this stuff, but i would like to make this work somehow. Thanks for reading.
  18. Anyone who knows if you can use a macbook or iMac to adjust the settings on Amplify instead of iPad or iPhone? That could be nice...
  19. Hi there, let me start of by saying that I absolutely love the Helix: The sounds, the ease of use, the flexibility, the looks! However, at this moment my Macbook pro and Helix don't communicate that well. The App is very unstable and crashes every few seconds/minutes when exporting or importing or doing nothing at all, can't find the Helix, disconnects and gives me messages like: "No symbol lookup table present for models and parameters", and so on. Today I installed the update and the problem persists, no worse no better, but just almost impossible to work with. I have a ticket open on this issue, so I'm expecting it to be solved anytime soon. I opened this topic, to see if anybody has found a practical workaround for this and to learn from other experiences. tnx!
  20. I'm having issues with Podfarm after updating to El Capitan. I plug my UX1 into my mac and i get the green light (which says its connected and supported.) However nothing appears in my system preferences audio inputs and when i open Podfarm it says it isn't connected (No sound either.) So i go to update my drivers and after i'm finished updated, before i restart, i get an error message telling me the CDSDAudiocapturesupport.kext can't be used or something. I've heard Roxio's products can affect this but after removing them i'm still having the issue, no sound, no input and when i restart the drivers say they HAVEN'T updated. Someone please, help, what can i do?! I run a small studio from home and we were meant to be recording tonight but instead i've spent tonight trying to fix this issue. Any ideas?

    Helix and Logic

Is there a known clock issue using this with OSX? Logic sees the interface but loses clock after a couple of minutes (at least I assume that's what is making the audio all jittery and daleky) Does anyone use this with Logic with no issues?
  22. Monkey tells me, that Flash Memory installed is unknown - update stops with code 80007104 The Editor isn´t working to, giving me back an Code 80000000 I´ve tried doing the update in Safe Mode holding down the "right side" of the directional selector and power up the Pod (leads to some "overview") holding down the "down side" of the directional selector and power up the Pod (leads to "Update Flash"). I´ve tried the original USB-Cable and another one. I´ve tried to click "NO" when it asks you the keep the current patches. Please help me ASAP!!! Computer-Details: OS-X El Capitan 10.11.2 (15C50)
  23. Hi all! Have been googling around about the dilemma I have regarding that I have to reinstall my UX2 drivers and PodFarm everytime I restart my computer... Anyone been dealing with this?
  24. I am looking for a multi effect pedal and the amplifi fx1000 has a big chance to be bought by me. I have an iMac but i can not find any software to make and change the effects of the amplifi fx1000. In video's they are always using iPads. Is there such an app or program for Mac? Is it possible to use the amplifi with only a Mac?
  25. I'm currently running the 4th public beta of OSX El Capitan which will be released to all Mac users in the near future. I've encountered an issue where the operating system is not able to use the POD HD500 as an external soundcard for music production in Logic Pro X or even just for general media consumption. I was going to chalk it up to it being an unperfected beta release but the curious thing is that my Native Instruments Guitar Rig audio device works perfectly fine. Will Line 6 release a driver update after the public release of the operating system? Have Line 6 had to do this in the past when new operating systems are released? Anyone experiencing a similar issue? Any feedback would be much obliged. Cheers, Jordan.
