We can confirm that the Sonic Port VX is a functioning audio interface on an M1 Big Sur MacBook pro at 44.1 and 48kHz. The device enumerates in the system sound preferences, streams audio and records in Pro Tools as both a microphone (mono/stereo) and a direct electric input.

Hi there, I'm trying to record my guitar using my macbook, audacity, and of course my HX Stomp. I read that no driver is required on Mac if I'm using 48Khz sample rate, so I simply plugged the stomp into the macbook and, indeed, it is detected by the system. But so far, I have not been able to get any sound from the usb audio interface. I set the HX stomp as recording device from the Audio MIDI Setup application, but I can't set master volume nor channels volume Yet, I tried to selected the proper interface and channel (1) in Audacity and expected a miracle : But of course I have a flat line. So is there something I missed (the audio output knob on the stomp is set at max) Many thanks !

Base info: System: macOS Mojave 10.14.2 Hardware: MacBook Pro 2016, Line 6 Pod X3 Pro Line 6 driver version: 7.6.8 Line 6 Monkey version: 1.78 Line 6 License Manager version: 1.13 Line 6 Monkey does not recognize installed driver and connected device, same as License Manager. However Pod is avaiable in System Preferences as Audio-MIDI Device and works perfectly with Pod Farm 2.59. Because of problem with License Manager i cant use full version of Pod Farm. On Windows laptop everything works like a charm (via usb 2.0 and usb-c connectivity). Any ideas what is wrong with License Manager on macOS Mojave?

HX Edit 2.51 crashes on my MacBook Pro 2012 running OS 10.8.5 whenever I turn on my Helix LT. This happened before I upgraded the LT to from firmware 2.30 to 2.50 and after I upgraded to 2.50. For you computer nerds (like me :) ) the crash report states that there was an uncaught exception 'NSInvalidArgumentException'. I was able to run the previous version on HX Edit just fine, and there is nothing stating that OS 10.8 is incompatible with HX Edit 2.51. Does anyone have a fix for this (without just stating to try uprading to a newer OS, please).... Thanks!!! P.S.: I upgraded to firmware 2.5 using Windows 7 on a Bootcamp installation, in case anyone is wondering.

Hey guys, I'm trying to connect my pod 2.0 to my macbook pro to run line6 monkey for firmware update as well as use line6 edit. I am connecting the computer via a MIDI to usb cable, and I'm positive everything is connected properly, but both line6 monkey and line 6 edit are saying the device is not detected. Is there something I need to do in my computer settings to help my pod be detected? MacBook pro (2017) running OSX Sierra. Thanks.

Hi everyone, I just purchased an HD500X and I'm looking for some insight on a recording setup. I have two Mackie CR3 reference monitors and a Scarlett Solo audio interface. Currently, the Scarlett is connected via USB to the MacBook and the monitors are connected to the LR outputs on the back of the Scarlett. My question is, would a setup as follows work: Guitar into POD, POD output into Scarlett input, Scarlett for the monitors / USB to the MacBook. My idea is to record using the POD while having the reference monitors as my speakers. Can the monitors be plugged right into the POD so I can use the POD as the full interface, or should I use the Scarlett as the interface for everything? Hope this makes sense; it's my first time working with a live POD. Thanks!

So I just bought studio ux1 yesterday and downloaded POD Farm 2 after long time of researching (seems like it isn't be working on yosemite but I managed to download it), Line 6 Monkey, and license manager. The problem is not matter how I set the settings on the computer itself's or POD farm 2, guitar and microphone won't sound yet they are plugged in. For guitar, I thought I'll just have to plug it in to ux1 and open POD farm 2 for it to work, right? For microphone I really don't have a clue, please help me :( Also I can't download GearBox, is that a long term problem for mac yosemite already?
