  1. Dear all, I've assigned a Midi CC to a block to control it from my midi controller. Is there a way to send out the state when loading a patch, snapshot or just simply toggling the state of the block on the HX effects itself? I would like the controller to know the current state so it can display and send out the right toggle command. Assigning a CC toggle to a footswitch won't work, as the HX Effects only has 6 foot switches and 9 blocks. The CC toggle and block state can also get out-of-sync if you switch the block state but not the CC state. It would be nice if the state of the parameter with a CC bound to it would also send out the value set by the HX Effects. Cheers! Harold
  2. Hi together, I just received my HELIX LT and I truly enjoy it so far. However, I am running into issues whenever I try to sync it with the MIDI clock of my DAW (Ableton Live). I already searched for possible solutions in the support forum but couldn't find any reliable solution so far. In my current setup, I use snapshots and I change those quite frequently (sometimes mutliple times per bar), e.g. to switch the MIDI sync tempo of a tremolo or other modulation devices. The corresponding commands will be sent via a MIDI channel (currently channel 4) in Ableton Live which includes the different values for each snapshot in the corresponding CC (for snapshots, it is CC69). Whenever I do that, the MIDi clock gets out of sync or delayed in some sort. This is also represented in the blue tap tempo light, which flash is noticeably out of sync compared to my DAW metronome. I already did some troubleshooting and below you find my conclusions so far: - Occurs for both for slow and fast BPM. - Occurs both for sending commands via USB MID and MIDI Interface - Does not seem to be a "simple" delay, namely a latency which can be compensated within the DAW itself. It rather appears to me that the amount of sync error is fluctuating over time. I am really not sure if that problem is specifically related to Helix, but it prevents me from utilizing most of the great time-based effects of the HELIX. Therefore, I would highly appreciate any kind of support or ideas for potential workarounds. Many greetings!
  3. I would love to be able to change speakers, mikes and mike distances per song using Midi CC's sent by my DAW. I'm using Logic connected to my Powercab via a USB cable. I can change the speakers via Program Changes but not via CC's. I have selected Midi Receive to PC+CC in the Global Settings. I've attached a screen shot of my attempt. Pressing Play chooses the Jarvis speaker. At bar 2 I should get an Essex speaker and at bar 3 a "12 Dyn" mike. After changing to Jarvis all that seems to happen on the Powercab display is a change from "< 004 > Jarvis" to "< 004 (edited) > Jarvis" at bar 2. I've also attached the Logic file. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Powercab speaker trial.logicx.zip
  4. I've had the UX2 for quite sometime and never got a footswitch for it it so I decided to make one . Since I have the basic hand tools. a drill/drills, soldering iron/related tools, light wire and quarter inch 6 ft guitar cables all I needed was 2 quarter inch mono jacks, 2 momentary switches (light duty) and a box all of which I found at Radio Shack. I added 1 more switch and jack so I can run to something else tha'll use a momentary switch. It works great and It makes the UX2 so much better.
