Hi! I’m looking to make a few modifications to my JTV-59 and wanted to get some input of what’s in the realm of possibility with the Variax technology. The main things I’d like to add are tuner locks of some kind, a whammy bar, and a sustainer pickup. Would any of these be possible and what should I look out for when installing these additions? I mainly use the Variax models but, from what I understand, they’re all coming from the bridge so I don’t know what limitations that brings to what I’d like to accomplish. I know the Variax technology can be a very complicated topic and, hopefully, this is the best place to get an answer to my questions! Thanks everyone! -
Everyone likes the end result first, so here is a pic or the board standing up. (Sorry about my lollipop photography skills) So I've been looking at the Helix a bit over the last couple of days and one thing that stuck out to me was a lack of guides for the I/O when standing up looking at the pedal. In a dark setting and at a show most of the time I'm leaning over my board to look at connections upside down and then having to combat faint text to work out where I'm at. I noticed that the design of the Helix has an angled section near the top. I thought it was a bit odd that this wasn't potentially used for ease of use with respect to the back panel. So I got to thinking. I used a label maker I had lying around at home and purchased some neon green fluorescent cartridges for it. Then, I printed a few copies of each section (adjusting the spacing if need). The method behind this was to be able to separate each section so that the 'boarder line' were in line with where the input/outputs would roughly be. Once all of them were done it as just a matter of sticking them in the order I preferred and now its much easier to deal with plugging everything I need in. Firehawk Effects Blocks Basics In the Firehawk Remote editor, there are 12 effects blocks that you can turn on and off, and assign different models and parameters to. Some of them can be dragged to different locations, some can't. Of these twelve blocks, only five of them can be assigned as: · Drives and Dynamics · Mods · Delays · Filters, Synths and Pitch A quick way to tell which three can be assigned these effects types is that they have a border around them: Notice Stomp, Synth and Mod all are bordered. However, Reverb is selected, so its border is brighter. Here's how to change the effect type of those three blocks: 1. Select one of the three blocks by touching it. In this example, we'll select Stomp. 2. The effect will then show the effect type (in this case, "stomp"), the effect name ("Facial Fuzz"), and a power button to the right to turn the effect on or off. Touch the effect type to change it. 3. You'll then see a "Type" button. Touch it. 4. The block types then appear. Choose one. 5. The block has been changed. There is no restriction on the number of similar effect types or effects assigned to these three blocks. Three stomps, each with a Fuzz Pi on it? Go for it! Just don't forget to save your tone (cloud icon, then disc icon).

Multi-Head Effect on POD 2.0?

Hello Line6 Community. I need help with regards to my Line6 POD 2.0. I'm wondering if I can mimic the "multi-head" effect of the DL4 using my POD. If yes, how to tweak the settings of my POD manually to create that effect. (i dont use the sound editor). To fully-understand what I mean, please refer to the video at 01:48. . . Please advice. Thank you.
