  1. I play bass guitar through a Helix Stomp and recently added a Sennheiser Evolution Wireless Digital instrument set to my live setup (LINK to what that is: https://www.guitarcenter.com/Sennheiser/EW-D-Evolution-Wireless-Digital-System-with-CI1-Instrument-Cable-Q1-6-1500000339492.gc?storeCode=&source=4WWMWXGL&gclid=Cj0KCQjwlK-WBhDjARIsAO2sErR4iue2DwqVQKA5DhR-8bNieH1Kb-4tiLocBO63nI5-QMQ1MVM4N4YaApluEALw_wcB). The Sennheiser plugs into the mono input of the Stomp, and the Stomp has an output that goes into our power amp. When we rehearsed and played a show with our own setup, everything worked perfectly. But when we played a venue that had their own setup, I had an issue where sound was coming through when I was tuning even though I have it on mute. This didn't happen with our own setup so I was wondering why at the venue the mute was being bypassed. Does anyone have any ideas on what would be causing this and how I can fix it?
  2. Just a short question. I don't use the tap button, but i often use the mute/tuner. Is it possible to configure the HX effects that a simple tap on the tap/tuner/mute switch will engage the tuner/mute?
  3. Hi everybody I know this has been a problem for a lot of people and reading on here I know it relates to dodgy micro switches. Mines been a pain in the backside constantly changing while playing so I have stripped it down and sprayed the switches with switch cleaner as per some suggestions on here ..... which has cured the problem temporarily at least. While it was disassembled I noticed a difference in the four switches on the bottom row starting at the Tap Tempo. These four switches had no definite click, in fact it is hard to even know if they are moving. All the other switches click as you press them down and seem to have a spring return. There is no spring return on my tap temp switch or the three immediately next to it ( probably the four most used in my set up) My first question is .... is this normal ? are these four switches a different design to the rest? they all operate and since being cleaned the unit hasn't switched over to tuner on it's own anymore however I have a big gig coming up and am slightly worried it could start again. You can hear the others click even when the unit is assembled, but not those four so would be grateful if someone could confirm if this is normal or they are all faulty (but still working somehow) My second question if they are faulty is.... where can I get good quality replacements that won't do this again in a hurry, does anyone have a part no? and/or can I buy that whole circuit with six switches on anywhere ???? Cheers for reading!
  4. Hello, I have a POD Xt Live and a couple of studio monitors (KRK Rokit 6). I plug them using L/MONO and RIGHT output of the pod. The problem I'm having is that sound only comes from the right monitor. If I unplug the right monitor, then sounds starts to come from the left monitor. It's like when the right monitor is plugged, no signal goes to the left monitor.. Any idea of what may be the problem? I haven't used these monitors for some time, but I recall they used to work fine... Thanks, Damian
  5. I have a line 6 pod pro rack mount model. When I turn the tuner on it produces a clean sound. How do I mute the tuner?
  6. Good day , The title is not really the most appropriate ...but I didn't know how to call my problem , so allow me to explain . I connect my POD HD to the PC via USB and use it as an external sound card , I use it with my DAW to record . I set up my effects on the POD HD and my signal , with effects and all , is fed into the DAW . To the before-mentioned signal , I add effects directly from the DAW and I want to hear the sound in REAL TIME as I am playing . But when I want to hear it in real time , I hear the signal doubled : The RAW SIGNAL that is fed into the DAW from my POD HD and the RAW SIGNAL + DAW EFFECTS both come back through my headphones or speakers. Is there a way to mute this RAW SIGNAL , so I could hear only the signal that comes back from the DAW ?
  7. Hi Folks, I want to use the HD500 as Soundcard/Interface for Cubase editing and monitoring but can't get any sound from the connected studio monitors. Hope you got an idea what I'm doing wrong! My POD inputs Cubase to POD via USB Variax to POD via Digital Cabel Keyboard Line out to POD AUX in My POD Outputs XLR out L&R to Adam F5 Studio Monitors Headphones on Phones out I ran the obove setup without the monitors up untill now and had no issues. Editing, playback, recording all works fine. Now to get rid of the headphone only setup I took one of the new studio monitors out of the box and connected it to one XLR balanced out but have no sound at all! I tried POD sound through Headphones => works Connecting the monitor to the Latops headphone out via 3,5" Klinke to RCA => works, so the monitor is ok. Changing XLR cabels didn't change anything => cable should be fine too Flipped through all POD setup options I could but found no mute/balance/setup options for XLR out => No clue if I missed something. If anybody has an idea what I'm missing I'd be very happy! THX
