  1. I have been checking Native free trial and noticed that it doesn't work unless I am connected to the internet. Is this normal? Surely if you pay for it you should be able to use it in places that has no internet.
  2. Question. I just started using native in hopes of leaving my rig at our practice spot. I use a Motu 828 mk3 hybrid. And plugged into the instrument input my signal is just too hot. It doesn't clip terribly but it it certain does clip. I have the trim pulled all the way to zero and the only way I can get my signal under is to throw either a compressor or a limiter on it from the effects portion of my card. I don't really like the thought of that as I assume i'm altering the dynamics and certainly the overall tone. Has anyone had a similar problem? What would be the best way to get the signal (for lack of a better term) where it's supposed to be? Thanks!! Matt
  3. Hi guys! I just uploaded this new video. It's a Helix Native demonstration in 9 different styles ranging from clean to 8-string metal. I used different amp models and OwnHammer IR's for each tone. Helix Native is such a wonderful tool and I've been a fan ever since it came out. Working wth this plugin is just so easy and I get great results every single time! If I get enough requests I could do a tutorial for all the tones. Please enjoy:
  4. Helix Native requires an internet connection to initially authorize the license both for the demo and full versions. Once the license has been authorized, you no longer need an internet connection to use the software. But, because of how the authorization works, you do need an NIC (Network Interface Controller) enabled. Do not disable your network card (wireless or LAN) when running Helix Native. If you want run without an internet connection, just unplug your LAN cable or disconnect from your WiFi network.

  8. Hi guys, I installed Helix Native and I am very impressed! I had to make a metal video to see how well this plugin performs in a full band mix and I am VERY impressed. You just can't beat the functionality of this plugin. The fact that you can keep tweaking your Helix settings right until the very end without re-amping is a huge benefit. Not that it needs a lot of tweaking because it already sounds very good with minor tweaking. I'm using an Emperor 4x12 IR for the upcoming Heavy Hitters Collection by OwnHammer. The release of this amazing pack is coming very soon so stay tuned for that. I love this Emperor cab for huge rock and metal tones, it just sounds great. I'm using the C65 speaker option. I believe that's the stock speaker that came in this cab. Hope you enjoy: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yI10V7JLeDU

  14. Looking at buying a Helix and eventually will probably want to pick up Helix Native. So if I buy a used Helix, does registration transfer to that new owner and is the new owner eligible for the $99 purchase price of Native that I understand will be offered to full Helix owners? Thanks.
