Hey all, I didn't see any post that covers a potential bug I've found yet so posting here. I am using Helix Native 3.71 on Windows 11. My PC is decently high-end, 32gb RAM, 7900x CPU, etc. I've confirmed this occurs in both Cubase Pro 13 and FL Studio 21.2.2. Fresh installs of everything. UMC404HD interface. Helix Native works fine once added to a channel initially, and even after switching through a few different presets, but eventually after switching through many presets (30+) it stops outputting any audio. The plugin still does show the input levels are present (see pics), but even if you disable all the effects or switch presets, once it enters this broken state it will no longer output any audio. If you restart the DAW or delete the plugin from the channel and re-add it then it works fine with any preset again. In FL Studio, it actually makes a quick buzzing sound at the moment it breaks. When this occurs, other instances of Native on other channels don't cease functioning. This feels like it might be a memory leak within the plugin; resources are being allocated when switching between presets but never released, so eventually it presents an OOM exception in Native. It seems to happen faster when switching between more intensive presets (ie: DEVIN TOWNSEND). However, I don't see any increase in memory usage in the Task Manager when this happens. Does anyone know why this is occurring and how to resolve it? Is it possible to file a bug report? Would any other information could help debug this? Greatly appreciate any insight, thanks. -
We have designed the G10T and G10TII transmitters to fit into almost any guitar. However, we anticipate that there will be some rare cases where the transmitter does not fit into a given guitar. If the G10T or G10TII transmitter is inserted into your guitar and the transmitter's actuator pin is not engaged, the transmitter will not turn on, the LED on the transmitter will not light up, and no signal is processed. In some rare cases, the guitars active electronics are wired with inverse polarity. In this scenario, the original G10T transmitter's electronics can go into a protection mode that keeps the system from being functional. This is evidenced by no output from the receiver, even though the transmitter's light is on. The new G10TII is designed to be electrically compatible with instruments using active pickups and preamps, without the need for an adapter. In some other cases, such as with the Line 6 Variax Acoustic 300, voltage can build up in the ring of the guitar's jack to the point of "tricking" the transmitter into thinking it is docked in the receiver and charging, also resulting in no audio output. Additionally, certain instruments may present a level of noise when their active circuitry is engaged and the transmitter is connected. We have found that a workaround to all of these issues is to use a mono-to-mono (TS-TS) Male to Female adapter, such as those shown below. The G10 transmitter is shown for scale. More details about the first two of these issues are included in the attached document. Troubleshooting procedure: Power the receiver with a USB power source. Insert the transmitter into the receiver (this will ensure that the transmitter and the receiver are set to the same channel). The LED on the transmitter should be Green or Green flashing. (If it is red flashing, the transmitter needs charging. Leave it in the receiver until the LED turns steady green. That indicates it is fully charged.) Insert the transmitter into the instrument's jack, turn up the volume control and play. If audio is not being transmitted to the receiver: A. The problem is mechanical if the LED on the transmitter is OFF when plugged into an instrument. B. Dude, in case no signal in or out, this can save you weeks of frustrations, this happened to me..... no matter how stupid it sounds.... are you using exactly the original line 6 power source A.C. adapter ??? not a regular-similar 9 V D.C. power source..... read carefully... the power source its the problem it happened to me... you need to be sure using the original A.C.power source (Not a regular D.C.) ...... iiiiiffff you use a regular 9V D.C. the input signal goes to ground and it does not process anything..... I was using a 9V D.C. and no signal and I spent 1 week doing all kind of updates and contacting techinal support for nothing... after I found my original power source and connected ...voila it works like a charm...I read many guys on internet having same problem and technical support not giving them any answer telling them "send them to us so we can check it up"..... and charging you for that..... use a 9V Altern Current.... not D.C....... do it now..... stop using a D.C. (D.C. did not damaged my unit but it just don't make it work- 1 reply

Hello there, I have been having a very specific problem with my DT 50 112 combo. Basically, there are days when the amp works just fine without any problems. Then, all of the sudden you hear a single cracking sound similar to the one when changing channels, and then the amp stops working. What this means is that all lights are on and everything seems to be fine, except there is no output at all. I can be changing channels, topologies, stand-by, turning all knobs left and right and still there is no output. The only thing I can hear is this unnatural humming noise coming out of the speaker. Sometimes, it is enough to turn the amp off and on and then it works again, sometimes I need to wait much longer. I've taken the amp to an authorized service place in my country, but they couldn't find the issue. They changed the valves tough, but that did not really help. hello there :) i thought about to ask you guys what my problem could be i use a Line 6 UX2 in FL Studio to get a better latency , today i thought about to stream on twitch for my friends but the problem was as long as i use the UX2 in FL Studio the green bar at audio settings of windows (outputs) didnt move up so that means the sound goes from fl studio directly into my heaphones and dont even cross windows 7 the big "BUT" i use the ux2 as my main soundcard so i watch youtube videos and talk to my friends so when i watch a video and hear the sound with the ux2 but the green bar at windows outputs move up so this means all these stuff except the fl studio sound i can stream and record with camtasia 8 but why is it like that? what can i do? and what should i buy (what kind of interface)? i post 2 pics 1 with ux2 (no output at windows) 1 without ux2 (output at windows) -
I'll make this fast, I'm using a Line 6 UX1. Running Windows 10 64-Bit latest full release version. Using a CAD GXL2200 with a phantom power box. (All working btw). My UX1 is lit green, and I have the windows 10 driver installed, 4.2.7.6. Latest version of PodFarm 2.59 and everything. Here's my issue, every time I launch up PodFarm I have no Mic input going in. (Now as an FYI, I recently had to fresh reset my PC, before hand the mic was working just fine) I've tried everything from re-installing the driver, or re-installing everything Line 6. I've even disabled all other audio drivers/devices. Now here's some info that might help, when I do unplug a microphone, for a second there is a a little green line on input, meaning that some sort of feed goes in. If you have ANY advice, I'll be happy to take it. Also before you ask, I have a very high end PC (16 GB Ram, FX-4850 CPU, GTX 970), and yes everything physical including the box and phantom power box are running fine. Thank you! :D UPDATE: So I discovered that if at any point the UX1 Speakers receive any input of audio from the computer, the mic input will continuously create a loud static noise until I unplug and plug it back in...

Was playing for about a half hour in 50 watt mode, Master @ 50% when the output just faded out. No other noise associated with the dropout, just went silent. Switched the standby on to off to see if that would fix it. No go. Next with standby off I turned master volume down then switched from 50 watt mode to 25 watt mode and turned the volume up to 50% and output was back to normal. So I switched back to 50 watt mode and all was ok. My rig was set up just taking the guitar and going into the front high input with a DT25 Cab. Anyone else have this behavior? Added: This is a sort of journal about my experience with the DT50HD/DT25 Ext. Cab. & HD500.
