  2. I have had my JTV59 for several years and until a year ago, I played regularly a couple nights a week. I have always been very pleased with the sound I get. I haven't played it for a few months (been playing my Taylor acoustic and don't play live anymore) and I went to try to learn the solo from Still Got the Blues by Gary Moore tonight and my 3rd string, G, has no volume compared to the others and sounds kind of like a toy guitar. It is only that string and only when I have the modeling turned on. If I turn off the modeling and just use the straight pickups, it is fine. Anyone got any ideas what I can do to fix this? I don't want to replace it and can't justify it since I am not playing live anywhere right now. Thank you all for your help.
  3. Hello! I'm having some serious issues with the Line 6 TonePort UX2 model interface. I have gearbox all set up along with Reaper as well to start tracking guitar, bass, drums, etc. But whenever I plug my guitar into the Instrument Input (i.e. Normal input on the front) I get no sound coming from my computer. I'm not sure if the 1/4-inch headphones are really required in order to run the system through a computer and listen to it, or if I can just listen to what I'm play directly through the interface to the computer. So my questions are as follows: 1. How to I get sound out of my interface to my computer to listen to what I'm doing in real time? 2. What would be the proper settings to set on the interface to listen to what I'm doing through the speakers on the computer? I'd also like to know how to record what I'm doing. Whether I have to record through gear box to reaper, or record a track separate on gear box, then master it on reaper? 3. How do I record with the TonePort UX2? 4. How do I get it set up with/through the reaper program?
  4. Hi, I have a Spider IV 150 HD head and cab. It is about 3 years old, and I've used it for tons of shows. Recently, especially after unloading it after a show, when I plug in my guitar, it acts like it is going to work, then the volume will go off, then come back in short burst lasting no more than a second or two. When I try to hit a note or strum the guitar, it makes a popping sound, but if I hold the note, the volume will act fine for a few seconds, then go off again. This will happen very randomly. I can sit and practice for 2 hours, then it will start acting up and won't work again for a while. Then it will randomly starting working fine again and be fine for days or even weeks. I've been very careful with it when unloading it and using it. Although it has been used in very cold and very hot temperatures. I have some important shows coming up, and don't want this to randomly start happening in the middle of the performance, so was just wondering if there was anything I could do to prevent this. I am going to try a factory reset, but it could be days before I know it this truly worked. Not sure if this matters but the guitars that this has happened with are an ESP LTD EC-1000FR and a Sterling JP-70. Thanks for any help!
