  1. I just picked up an HX One and would like to use it on my pedal board powered by a Gator G-Bus-8 power supply. It seems to power up and work fine. However my concern is the HX One power says 9v/500mA whereas the G-Bus-8 says .25A (250mA); half the current. Could there be any adverse effects in running it like this?
  2. I have a Problem with a Line6 PODHD300 pedalboard, I connect it and connect the Guitar and it takes time to give Full sound, it gives sound of the strings little by little ... And then after 15 minutes it sounds as it should be ... Help Please
  3. So, I love my Helix bag, but I want to be able to plug less stuff in when I set up at a show, so I'm getting pedalboard/case that will fit my Helix, my Wireless, a Power strip, and my output cables so I can keep everything plugged in as much as possible between shows, but I was wondering how people have been securing their Helices for transport. I think its probably a little too heavy for velcro (at least for me to feel comfortable moving it around) so I was think of locating some longer screws that fit where the feet are attached and attaching it to the board that way. Has anyone tried this, or had good luck with other methods?
  4. I own a line 6 spider iv 15 combo, im thinking of bying a Boss Gt-10. Does the gt-10 is compatible with the amp and how i connect it? (Sorry for bad english)
  5. Upon buying my G10's I came across the minor problem of being able to power them from a standard Boss BCB 9v power supply and not cause fatal damage to the units. I had a chat with the techie who does all my repairs and upgrades and this was the answer. A small PCB board with two fullsize USB inputs at one end and the ability to plug in one of the spare 9v power supplies at the other, but to do this you first have to snip the barrel connector off. The board is regulated so no more than the 5v that is needed will pass through. The small board fits nicely in the channel were all your cables go, to stop the board from shorting on the metal casing of the pedal board it has been housed between some protector and also not shown on the photo's is two pieces of foam that sit at either end stopping any movement. I also purchased a left angle 30cm USB to micro USB instead of the stock cable which was far too long. Just to add, when I took these photo's the power cable going into the PCB hadn't been insulated. Hope this helps some of you with the same problem.
  6. Hi, I have a Spider Valve 112 and a floorboard plugged in. The pedalboard has decided to stop working. I have tried the floor board in another amp exactly the same and also my pod and it fires up ok. Im assuming this means I have a faulty connection at the amp end. Anyone know the voltages I should be getting down the pins of the FBV connection? Heres what I got...white/orange - 0v, orange - 9v, white/green - 0v, blue - 0v, white blue - 9v, green - 3.2v, white/brown - 3.2v and brown 0v. Is a faulty socket a likely cause or could this be software related? Just checked output on pins on the pod and its 8.2v on every pin. (the pedal works fine on this) I appreciate any help in this matter. Cheers
