  1. Hi all, Creating a thread for this since I don't see it anywhere. My problem is that I want to record two dry guitar tracks and pan them left and right, so I can use my POD farm vst and tweak the settings to get a nice sound. However, when I put the two tracks through the plugin it comes out mono, not stereo :( is there a way around this? I don't want to have to put the guitar tracks on two separate channels and have an instance of POD farm for each of them, and have to tweak both plugins, etc. Please help!!!!
  2. Hi I currently use Studio One 2 to record. Right now I have a few dry guitar tracks that I want to enhance using Pod Farm. I can't figure out how to use Pod Farm as a plugin, I've looked at the manual which says, "VST plugins are installed in /Library/Audio/Plug-ins/VST/Line 6" but when open the final line 6 folder it turns out to be empty. I tried to re install Pod Farm and follow a few other tutorials on the Line 6 forums. If anyone has any suggestions it would be appreciated. Thanks so much
  3. Hello, i can't use gearbox in my Macbook Air because the pluging is not compatible. What can I do? I have to wait for a new plugin version. Thanks.
  4. A long time ago I bought a Toneport UX2, a handful of the expansion packs, and the ability to run Gearbox as a VST plugin. Right now I'm on extended travel and I am trying to find out if there is a way for me to run any the software that I've purchased in the past with a small non-line 6 recording interface on my mac via VST or otherwise? Thanks
  5. Hello, Can anyone advise me on the POD Farm plug-in, my x3 Live shows all model packs and a podfarm 1 license, although I cannot seem to get POD farm to work in standalone mode when the X3 is connected, all the packs show up as installed on the splash screen then I get told that there is no compatible device connected. I have also tried the plugin from withing Ableton Suite and nothing shows up in the plugin section. Thanks for looking. Shane
  6. so Pro Tools 11 has been here for about a week. it has been known to the world for several months.. yet no matter how hard I search, I can't find anything that says whether Line 6 has even thought about Pod Farm AAX or not.. I know this company has been working on a lot of other things recently, but I'm really not that impressed with their maintenance of PF, which I use quite a bit (there are lots of obvious bugs in the RTAS version that should have been fixed long ago). is this product simply becoming obsolete so that neither Line 6 nor the general public really cares about its future? or are there others like me who love Pod Farm and are desperate to see it keep developing into a solid, modern product? sorry for the rant.. -Ben
  7. Hi there! I am using POD Farm 2.55 as a Plugin in Sonar X1 64bit With a UX2 as Hardware I've used This Setup for a couple of years now, and never any real problems. Until now... I want to use the Dual channel mode in Podfarm. So I have 2 different tones running at the same time! Sound Great!! although, the track with the podfarm on it keeps "falling out" (wen I bypass Pod farm you get the clean sound of the guitar recording.) So I open Podfarm and you can see the green input meter, so the guitar track is coming in to podfarm. but no output meter. and wen you open the "mixer view" tap in pod farm you can see that the output meters (both tone A and B are stuck. Noting happens, just the green output meter on a certain level.( I experience the problem with the 32bit and the 64bit version of podfarm and Sonar X1 !) The only way to fix it at that moment, is to load the complete tone again, or to go to the "mixer view" tap and switch the Input from right to left of left to right (depends on what its on of course). But when I have done that, and I can hear the guitar again. 2 seconds later it has already fallen out! I tried a couple of things already, I saw that other people experienced this error with Sonar 8 as well. There solution was to turn of the 64/bit Double Precision Engine. but In Sonar X1 it does not seem to do the trick! Can Some one help me out here! I really want to keep using the Dual tone mode because is sound so great! Thanks!
  8. Hi everyone ! I am an old user of Line6 products. I have a USB2 Toneport UX2 (the old one, red). I use it on my Macbook with Logic for recording. I have GearBox and Pod Farm on my computer. I'd like to have Pod Farm 2, but it seems I can't have it for free, because I bought this Toneport few years ago. Am I wrong ? So I use Logic for recording. I record guitar and bass without any effects or amp, and I add them after. I use plugin for that. Is there a way to use Pod Farm as a plugin ? I tried Pod Farm 2, I can add plugin on my track, but the software needs to be activated, wich I can't do because I didn't buy it (too expensive and Pod Farm is good enough). So, what should I do ? Thanks !
  9. Q: Does Line 6 offer a 64-bit driver for stand-alone applications? A: Line 6 offers a 64-bit compatible driver for Windows XP, Vista and 7 platforms as well as compatible drivers for 64 bit Kernel installs of Mac OSX. You can download the latest compatible drivers (as well as compatible versions of our Gearbox and POD Farm editors and plug-in applications) at the software page at the link below: http://www.line6.com/software/ Q: My DAW only supports 64 bit native plug ins. Are the Gearbox and POD Farm plug ins 64 bit natively? A: The Gearbox/POD Farm plug-in is not a native 64-bit plug-in, but is 64-bit compatible.? If your DAW requires a 64-bit plug-in the Gearbox/POD Farm plug in will not be recognized.
