  1. I bought Pod Farm a few years ago. I've just upgraded computers and I'm trying to install it on my new one. I get a message that it cannot be installed, but no explanation why or what I can do. I have pro tools sessions that use pod farm and I will need for the plug in to load. I click on support and I'm instructed to open a "ticket". But there's no ticket. No tech support. No phone number or email address for paying customers. Just a lot of irrelevant FAQ links when I enter my questions.
  2. POD UX2 Have posted this into Ticket Support, But also chose to post here In case anyone is able to help. Before going into my initial problem this the POD UX2 has been running without any problems on a previous computer. I wanted the POD UX2 program on second PC Namely Windows 8.1 so I am able to practice anywhere I wish to. Before any installation I did check out Line 6 Forum if I could run this on a second computer before I I read that it was possible that there was also no need to purchase a second license just run through the License manager which I have done and have ended up with the following problems. I had attempted to find a solution to the problems listed below, All all my searching or ideas tried gave no joy in any solution I have now decided to post this problem here. Line 6 Monkey Allows me to log into my line 6 account without any problems, which means there is an internet connection. So why is there a notice there stating “Could not connect to the Line 6 Server to determine if updates are available. Make sure you are connected to the Internet and click Check for updates” Really stupid considering the fact it recognises I have signed in. Now here is a list of all work arounds that have been tried None of which have solved nothing. 1. Disconnected firewall and Antivirus. NO JOY 2. Restarted PC after removing Program. Reinstalled Pod Farm 2 2.59 from the Line 6 Website again no Joy 3. Uninstalled the new version of Line 6 Monkey 1.76 then installed Line 6 Monkey 1.65 NO JOY 4. Uninstalled drivers then reinstalled drivers. NO JOY On starting Line 6 Monkey I encounter the following problems. Line 6 Monkey is started / Searching for devices / It then displays Line 6 Monkey, No devices are detected. The drop down section only has PODxt of which I do not have a PODxt. There is nothing else in that field because obviously Line 6 Monkey cannot see the UX2 which is connected all lights lit up Click OK then into main screen click on updates. Message states could not make a connection to the line 6 web server Make sure you are connected to the internet. As already mentioned I am connected to the internet Reason (Code 80001019) Unrecognised file type. Click License manager and it authorizes. However, each time I close The UX2 and then restart I am asked to run the license manager which is all fair and good however what if I want to use this unit off line or didn’t have an internet connection. Somebody I am sure has sorted this problem but what is the Solution? I am sure Line 6 are not going to make updates for Line 6 Monkey knowing it has problems to which I am sure they would have solved well before now. So somewhere It has to be my system or something I am doing wrong, what that is I have no clue because I have followed everything about as closely as I could and had I know I was going to run into this problem I would not have bothered but there it is. So hopefully I might get some help in solving this problem, I certainly do not want to be putting in the license number every five minutes.
  3. Hi , I own POD X3 and Toneport DI . Is it possible to transfer the license Of POD farm2 on my X3 to my toneport DI
  4. Hi, I have a Tone port UX2 and this include a pod farm, i can't install pod farm 1.12 in mac os x 10.13 High Sierra, when I install appears next message : "You can't install pod farm in this disk".
  5. Hi, I've been searching everywhere but I can't seem to find an answer for this problem that I'm having, I really hope someone can shed some light on this. I've been having some trouble with my UX2, I should preface this by saying everything's working properly outside of the fact, input levels are normal, it's reading a normal output level, etc. So, my problem is that when I plug my headphones into the headphone jack (through adapters, yes) fully, the sound is so quiet and only really comes through the left speaker. When I plug in the headphones about 3/4 of the way in, they work perfectly fine like they used to. I suppose I could just record like this, but I'm worried that this may not be accurate sound, and I'd just like the sanctity of mind to know that I'm hearing accurate playback. Can someone please fill me in on what's going on, if this is a hardware issue, a jack issue, if this is a huge problem or not. Thank you.
  6. I discovered that when I setting the reverb "Large Plate" (and only this one) mix to the MAX, (predelay : 0-30, decay : 0-30, tone : 100) I was getting an incredible sound for every style. Would anyone know what this is due to? It would help me reproduce that sound with a real amp or another software. I couldn't even get it with an HD500, only podfarm large plate with these setting work. Try it and tell me, because I can't play on anything else since.
  7. I am thinking of getting a Line 6 KB37. is it still supported? I downloaded Pod Farm 2.59 but it doesn't install: error message says it needs Mac OS 10.5 or higher, but it is running 10.13.2. Is the Pod Farm still supported? thanks in advance for replies.
  8. So I know that similiar problems have been posted here in recently, but none of the fixes work for me. I recently got the POD studio UX2, and installed POD farm 2.5 on my PC, along with all the necessary drivers (line6 monkey and the hardware driver) and registration steps. Unfortunately, I am still not able to get the interface/software to pick up my guitar. I have both my recording and playback devices set to the interface, selected "instrument" on the POD farm input menu, have the UX2 selected in the hardware preferences tab, and my guitar/cable works through an amp. The interface is lit up (yellow/orange lights on), but the dials don't move at all. I also noticed that I am unable to hear any other sounds from my computer (youtube/Spotify), so I am not sure if this helps isolate the issue. At this point I have no idea what to do and am considering opening up a ticket. Does anyone have any advice? Thanks
  9. Simple question here. I have a really awesome set of bluetooth headphones and just bought a Pod UX1 to compliment my Spider Valve MKII. I have opened Logic Pro X and also tried Garageband and noticed latency. I also noticed that Pod Farm will not work with the BT headphones at all. Like the original question asks, is latency avoidable? Also, is it possible to get Pod Farm to see the BT headphones. System is a MacBook Pro 2.8GHz i7 with 16GB RAM. Thanks everyone.
  10. I have very little technical knowledge but have been tinkering with settings and I'm a bit stumped as to how to go about it. I am hoping to have the Bender effect oscillate between the toe and heel values. Is that possible? Loving Pod Farm & my ux2.
  11. Need some help here if anyone will. I've been a Reason user for years and really loved it when Line 6 was a part of the rack instruments. I was sorely pissed when they decided to no longer support Line 6 products. Now that Reason has be upgraded to work with VST plugins I would like to start using Pod Farm in my recording again. Problem is that when I install the VST in Reason breaks it into a number sub-plugins (effects, amps, etc. etc.). I can set up a signal chain in the plugin, but a: cannot save it, and b. cannot load any of my Pod Farm presets. Anyone else run across this issue? Thanks in advance. db
  12. Hi, I have not used my UX2 for a while and the Gearbox software does not work any more. I run a Macbook Pro with macOS Sierra 10.12.6. Does Pod Farm replace Gearbox? Can I use Pod Farm to play backing tracks and does it have the half speed feature like Gearbox. I'm afraid I'm not very savvy about this stuff. I looked for the latest version of Gearbox and it was from back in 2010. Any help you can provide is appreciated.
  13. Hello, I recently purchased the Line6 UX2 with POD FARM and i also have an Audio Technica AT2035, but I have been having problems with it in game and on discord. For me my mic sounds fine here is a link to what I hear, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0K_PFBSxUyE&feature=youtu.be. But, to my friends on discord and in game I sound like crap, here is what I sound like to others, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=652a4TZP-6U.
  14. I have set up the VSTs for for Podfarm in Reaper. I am currently running EZdrummer 2 and importing drum tracks easily; however, I am having issues recording through the Podfarm VST. I cannot hear my guitar when I'm playing along with the drum track, whether recording is armed or not; however, the track does pick up the signal when recording and when I hit playback, I can hear the guitar tone through Podfarm. The problem is that it is nearly impossible (at least for me) to record along with a drumbeat without being able to hear my guitar. How do I set up Reaper so that I can hear myself both when I am recording and when the recording is being played back? PS, this is my absolute first time attempting home recording, so I am an extreme beginner.
  15. Hi ! I've recently bought Pod Farm 2.5 hoping to make it work on Propellerheads Reason 9.5. I try to make everything work on an iMac on Sierra. I've found the directory containing the VST plugin, namely /Library/Audio/Plug-ins/VST/Line 6 but Reason can't find the plugins... I already use Kontakt Player as a VST plugin on /Library/Audio/Plug-ins/VST, without any problem. If anyone has a hint, it is welcome ;)
  16. Hi, I am about to buy a used UX2 from Amazon and I am not sure if the software is with it or not. Can this software that lists with it (or other software) be downloaded. I am especially interested in Ableton live or recording software that comes with it or might be useful (example drum software, etc)? Thank you!
  17. Hey guys, simple question here. I have been using the UX1 forever with the Podfarm and have been beyond happy. That said, it was time for a moderately better upgrade since my UX1 finally went toast after seven years. My question is, when I add the UX2 as my new device, will I lose the custom tones/presets I made in Podfarm with the UX1? If so, is there a way to avoid this from happening? Thank you!
  18. I've been using line 6 since the company started. I was an endorsee for quite awhile until recently but still use line 6 and I currently use the Helix as my main live rig. I'm waiting on the Helix Native plugin anxiously so I can use it to record my newest songs with. I started using line 6 to record all my albums with back when I had the pod pro rack mount unit, then later continued using the podfarm VST. Anyway, If you like shred Instrumental guitar, you can now download my latest album for free https://marcpattison1.bandcamp.com/album/risen-from-the-ashes-2 Since it's been downloaded on torrent sites over a million times, I figured I may as well give it away now anyway. If you like it, I'll be releasing a new album in a couple months. You can either stream it or if you want a physical copy just click on buy and leave the dollar amount at 0. If you wish to pay as little as a $1, that's totally up to you I originally got endorsed/endorsed Line 6 back when Tim Goodwin was the rep over 10 years ago, but I was one of the first to buy their combo amps when they first came out when nobody knew who they were. I was recently told that there is no longer an artist program, but I still continue to use Line6(and unofficially endorse them) even though I no longer get a discount or artist privileges. That's how much I believe in their products! I've been one of their longest supporters and I'll still tell everyone I know how great I think their products are. At least one of us is loyal!! I officially endorse ESP guitars, Peavey Amps, DiMarzio Pickups, Steinberg/Yamaha software, Cool Picks, M-Audio Studio gear, Eventide, Line 6, (unofficially ) Morley Pedals, and Overloud software.
  19. I need to record live a full rock band. 2 guitars will be direct line (chanel 1 and 2), bass and vocal will be line input chanel 3 and 4. I would set up to run stand alone POD Farm to monitor both guitar. Is that possible? Monitoring thru DAW using POD FARM plug in brings a latency that is long enough to dificult the recording process. How could I monitor in good shape bass and voice? The idea is recording the drums with four mics while the musicians record monitoring guitars, bass and voice with headphones (i have a four split device to do that). So the main problem is have good monitoring sounds on guitar and bass to record using POD farm at same time. Can you help me to set up this session in my homestudio?
  20. Hi all For the last few years my preferred alternative to an amp has been to play my guitar through my PC using a Line 6 FBV Express MK II pedal with a Line 6 UX1 (Pod Studio) with Pod Farm 2. It's even great but my FBV is now intermittently faulty. This kit has been around for quite a few years now. Can anyone suggest a new set up giving me the same flexibility in the same sort of price range please? I need to be able to have amp sims and effects through my PC with the ability to change effects with some sort of floorboard. I'm happy to look for another second hand FBV Express MK II but if anyone can suggest a newer improved set up that would be great. Also are there any other floorboards that can bu used with my UX1 (Pod Studio)? Thanks all!
  21. I have just bought POD farm 2.5. Downloaded and upgraded to 2.59. Transferred licence to first gen iLok. It works fine in both stand alone and as plugin in Cubase 6.5. I already own the add-on "metal shop", for my POD xt live (which is now dead). The add-on appears in the licence manager together with my computer, which is authorized as a device. But when i open POD farm 2 the model pack is not authorized (as stated in the help menu > about POD farm, and the amps are not there in the app itself) . I have tried de-authorizing and then authorizing my computer as a device again, re-installing POD farm 2, updating monkey. Still nothing. Anybody know what I'm doing wrong, or is the add-on just not compatible with POD farm 2?
  22. Cubase LE 9 on OSX and Windows no longer supports 32-bit plug-ins, which includes Pod Farm 2.x. You can read more about this change on the Steinberg website here: https://www.steinberg.net/en/newsandevents/news/newsdetail/article/cubase-85-is-last-version-to-be-32-bit-compatible-3469.html https://www.steinberg.net/en/newsandevents/news/newsdetail/article/future-releases-as-64-bit-only-3778.html
  23. Okay I'm having a problem. I own Pod Farm stand alone platinum, and I am using a Focusrite Scarlett 2i2 interface. My mic (sE Electronics sE2200a II C) is plugged directly into my 2i2, which is plugged into my PC via USB. I have my headphones plugged in via the headphone Jack on the front of the 2i2. In pod farm I have my preferences set as Focusrite USB ASIO and I can hear my applied effects in real time. However I can't record my output with those effects! How do I do this? I really want to use this for streaming (OBS) and I know its possible but I have no idea how! What do I have to do? Do I need Virtual Audio Cable or anything? When I record or stream it only records the direct input before the effects!
  24. I am a registered user of a GuitarPort with Gearbox and I am considering buying a second hand Pod Studio UX1 which, apparently, does not have an accompanying CD for Pod Farm - should it have? The UX1 has never been registered so if I register it on my account does this enable me to access a complete version of Pod Farm? If not, what sort of cost am I into for the software?
  25. I'm migrating from hardware to software due to the all the great possibilities but there are some irritating issues. As an example I'd like to access the display directly from Ableton Live or a Max for Live plug in. I've been using an old FBV, as well as the FBV Mk2, connected to a Pod XT bean as translator. I've converted the incoming pgm chg to CC and let it control the chain selector in an audio rack. I'v got my audio rack set up pretty much as the Pod with Pod Farm amps controlled by A, B, C, D and the stomp, mod, delay etc by corresponding buttons. This works quite well and I can Send midi back to the Pod, by dummy clips, and it will display a name on the FBV corresponding to whatever name is entered to the patch number in the Pod. I can also use the tuner display on the FBV by using the tuner output on the Relay receiver to the Pod. However I'd rather use the FBV Mk2 through USB. Does anyone know how to access the FBV through USB (fake-midi)? I'm talking about sending to the FBV, not from. Could sysex commands be used? Obviously it's possible but how?
