  1. I recently bought a used POD HD300 and I use the POD HD300 Edit software on OSX High Sierra with no problem. There is however an OSX update to Mojave and I do not know if I updated the OS would the POD HD300 Edit still work. Mojave is not mentioned in the supported OS list of the latest 2.03 (10/14/14) version of the Edit software. Is there anyone who has OSX Mojave with a usable POD HD300 Edit out there?
  2. I am extremely frustrated with this. It's so f*ckin sad when I'm playing at a gig and bam the volume goes down from nowhere. When I'm practicing at home it isn't any different, I'm playing and suddenly the volume lowers by itself. I've already reinstalled the firmware, I've done a factory reset, I've done this: "1-first I have to recommend u to update ur pod hd300 flash memory firmware to version 2 , if it is already re-install it , wont hurt 2-2nd What ur experiencing might be the act of The pod hd300 sound normalizer , which means ur channel is too loud and it reduces the volume to prevent amp overloads , so the solution is decreasing ur channel volume and increasing the overall (output) volume from the back of ur HD300 , this way u can both have a loud and un-normalized sound which is cool right" I've also tried this: ""Try this, rotate all your pots fully a dozen times, do this every now and then to keep them clear of any muck that might be getting in there. You will also notice that there is like a null area on each pot near zero and 100 percent. Once you have your settings assigned to your patches and don't need to make any adjustments while playing, you can "park" the knobs in that null area where they won't deliver a value change due to vibration."" I have tried using different sources (my amp, my friends amp, my headphones), different settings (studio/live, amp/line) I've tried different cables, nothing works. Please, help me!!
  3. Hello! :) Well... a few days ago I've been looking at me POD HD300 and thinking how cool would be if I could easily edit my presets via iPhone, because honestly, if you ever owned the POD HD, you know sometimes manual controls are just the pain in the azz and the utility for computer editing would also deserve some improvements. I still consider the POD HD 300 a great choice with tons of satisfying tonal abilities for a few bucks/quid/euros/whatever, thou. Later, I started browsing the web and I soon realised, that I'm a few months late and Line 6 came up with the Amplifi Fx 100. I wanted to ask you, my fellow Line6 owners and fans, if anyone of you switched to the Amplifi FX 100 from the POD HD 300 - 500. At the moment I have a feeling that it's basically the same thing as my POD HD with some extra iTunes gadgets, that can be controlled via my iOs device and I simply want to check if my understanding of this product is correct and if the switching from my POD to Amplifi is worth it, also when considering the fact I wanted something exactly like my POD HD 300, but manageable via iOs. Also, as far as I have browsed, there's no Mac/Win app for controlling the Amplifi and managing the presets? If not, well, than it's something that should have been there already and I hope Line 6 will patch this gap as soon as possible. PS - Sorry for the English mistakes, not a native.
  4. Hello guys, I own a Line6 POD HD300. I always play at home, at bedroom levels using my headphones connected at the phones input of the POD. Now, I would like to use some speakers in order to share my sound with others who are in the same room. Unfortunately, I only have headphones... no amp and no speakers... that being said, I think it's time to buy some speakers. I see that the POD HD300 has 2 options: XLR for balanced 1/4 jacks for unbalanced What should I buy? Which is better? Please note, I have no other equipment (no PA, no DI) and I am not going serious about spending a lot of money. All I want is to play guitar in my room without headphones, simple as that. My budget is 200 Euro. I did some research and I found these: Neusonik NE05 - 139 Euro ESI nEar05 - 175 Euro many people recommend KRK RP5 Rokit G3, but they are quite expensive for me. Should I buy just one single KRK RP5 RoKit G3 or MONO doesn't worth it? Thank you in advance for your time and suggestions Panos
  5. so i have this pod hd300 (not mine) and i want to play guitar through it. i connected the pod to my laptop via usb, i have the latest drivers available (installed them with line 6 monkey) and the problem is that i can't find the pod in the "inserts" menu on an audio track in cubase 5. i have selected the pod as my audio interface and i selected the pod as default driver in control panel in the "sounds" menu. it's strange because in cubase i can see that there is input and output when i play guitar but i can't hear anything from the pod.
  6. I tried recording my song with my pod hd300 on various softwares like reaper and audacity. Although i love the sound quality, i keep getting crack and pop sounds on the track. I tried rerecording, tweaking settings, everything. But it won't go. What can possibly be wrong here? Any help will be appreciated!

    No Sound

I've been using my POD HD300 for 2 years now without a hitch. I have used the HD Edit and the LIne 6 monkey successfully, but I suddenly ran into an issue when I updated the flash memory and USB on my POD HD300 to 2.02. It now won't produce any signal to my PA, and the problem wasn't there when I used 1.0. I did a factory reset, and nothing changed. I need this soon, so any help as to what caused there to be no signal from any port would be super helpful
  8. I had my Spider 75 almost 2 years before I decided to add a POD HD300 to my gear about 7 months ago due to needing a gear set up to play in a situation that does not allow guitar or bass amps/cabinets on stage. I still use both the HD300 and the Spider 75 in whatever situation needed for live and studio. My question is, can anyone help or tell me how to program the Spider 75 "Demented Mind" preset on the HD300 or at least come as close as possible? Does anyone have any hints on paralleling other presets and sounds between the Spider 75 and the POD HD300? Thanks
  9. Help me please. My pod HD300 suddenly became very weird. When i turn it on, after a few minutes it always activate "auto volume" effect, and its happened in every preset whether i turn off FX3 or turn on another FX3 channel (like delay), it will suddenly change into autovolume effect. I've done several things, like reset to factory setting, unplug replug the effect. Thank you
  10. Hello Everybody, New Pod hd300. Works perfectly with headphone connected directly into the pod. Installed all drivers in iMac, latest udpates done. Monkey is updated. Pod300 Edit installed and recognizes the pod. When I change a knob on the pod it changes at the same time on the iMac in the pod hd300 edit software. So I guess connection is ok. I also see the pod as midi device in the midi manager So far so good. But in Garageband nothing happens. Does not seem to recognize the pod. Nevertheless in preferences the I did select the pod and when I go to the amp I also see the pod as input source. What am I doing wrong. Any suggestion. Thanks in advance Markus
