Hey there guys, I've been really frustrated with these bass tones that I'm trying to make on my Pod HD500. I'm really trying to get a tone that matches the bassist from "Lamb of God - John Campbell". Particularly off there new album "Resolution". A good song to hear the bass tone I'm looking for would be "The Undertow". The bass is really think and hard while staying boomy. I'm not technical with words but that is the sound I'm trying to get out of my Pod HD500. Any help would be appreciated, Hawaiianfeak

Hey all, Ok, so very new at this... Have a couple questions for you all.. After reading the 103 freaking page book I realized that you all probably would be the best to ask... Question 1, How do I save all the current factory settings, or do I need to, before I start figuring out how to add new Patches. Question 2, Anyone out there have any advice on building a block that I can emulate the guitar sound of Bad Fish and Santeria by Sublime? Thanks, I will have many more questions later but lets start with these...

Hi fellow Line 6'ers, I compared the accuracy of the HD500 tuner against a cheaper tuner (Arion Hu-30) & found the 'G' string on the HD500 isn't tuning correctly. So inquisitively I borrowed my mates TC Polytune Tuner (supposedly a kickass tuner) & the results are the same being the 'G' string on the HD500 isn't in tune. The rest of the strings between all 3 tuners are the same. The initial reason I compared accuracies is because I always felt (heard) that my guitar wasn't in tune. Another confirmation is when I play harmonics to tune between the 'D' & 'G', this also shows inaccurate tuning with HD500 but not the other 2 tuners. The HD500 tuner is set to 440Hz, Mute mode. Any ideas on how to recalibrate HD500 tuner? Is there a software fix? Anyone else experienced this? Cheers

I have a JTV-89 and POD HD 500. Since I do a lot of cover music I am looking for specific sounds - like AC/DC "Shook Me All Night" guitar sound, and Bon Jovi "Livin on a Prayer", etc.. I know I can create these, and I have done a few, but is there a library out there (or can we start one) to share???

I just bought a JTV-89 to use with my Pod HD500 - I updated all the software on the Pod and Guitar and It is a great rig. I use the VDI cable because I want the guitar setting to be controlled by the Pod HD500. I send a MIDI Program change from my sequencer and it sets up not only the Pod HD500 but the guitar also. I just hate the cord. I know I can use a guitar wireless rig thru the 1/4" analog output and get the sounds from the guitar but I do not get the control of the settings like you do with the VDI cable. It is soooo easy to save a new Pod HD500 Program with all the Variax settings and when you start your new song on the sequencer, you don't have to touch any controls on the guitar. Any plans on wireless VDI???? Also, a while back I wrote to see if you could use the MIDI CC 7 (volume control) on the Pod HD500 and that was not implemented yet. Does anybody know if that has now been implemented? I would like to control the master volume of the Pod HD500 from the sequencer sending MIDI control signals. Thanks, Joebar23
