  2. POD HD Flash Memory v2.62 RELEASE NOTES POD HD v2.62 is a FREE firmware update that includes additional features and optimizations. It is highly recommended that all POD HD users perform this update! It is also recommended that you back up your current presets by using POD HD Edit to create a preset bundle, allowing you to include installing new presets as part of the update process. The easiest way to perform the update process is by installing the latest version of Line 6 Monkey. Once you've connected your POD HD to your computer via USB port (hubs are not supported), Monkey will recognize the unit and take you through the update process. It's important to update both the USB Firmware (1.04) and Flash Memory (2.62). The Line 6 Monkey application may be downloaded here. What's New? Global EQ - Global EQ is used for compensating for the wide disparity in acoustic environments on tour or when traveling from studio to studio, and is applied to all setlists and presets. Global EQ features three fully parametric bands plus variable low and high cut filters. To access Global EQ: Press and hold the VIEW button to open the Setup Menu. Using the four-way, cursor right until you see the Global EQ screen. Turn Knob 1 to select the desired EQ band (Low Cut, Low, Mid, High, High Cut) and turn Knobs 2, 3, and/or 4 to adjust the selected band. To bypass or enable Global EQ, press ENTER. 3. Deutsch Français Important Notes: These instructions also apply to POD HD400 and POD HD300 and their associated editors. It is highly recommended that these updates are installed in a specific sequence. Please see the installation notes* below. Bug Fixes These updates address a bug which allows invalid data to be introduced to presets. The invalid data is caused by asynchronous communication between the POD HD/HD500/HD Pro hardware device and the POD HD/HD500/HD Pro Edit software application. In rare instances, recalling presets containing invalid data may cause intermittent high volume events. Installing POD HD/HD500/HD Pro firmware v2.62 and POD HD/HD500/HD Pro Edit v2.26 prevents invalid data from being introduced into presets. During synchronization between POD HD/HD500/HD Pro and POD HD/HD500/HD Pro Edit, the hardware displays a ‘Sync In Progress’ message and does not respond to any buttons or knobs until synchronization is complete. Additionally, any presets which contain invalid data are reset to an initialized state. These presets are easily identified as ‘New Tone (Reset)’. *Installation Notes Please follow these steps sequentially: Disconnect any audio connections to the POD HD/HD500/HD Pro, connect to the computer via USB and save a preset Bundle, Set Lists, or individual presets from POD HD/HD500/HD Pro Edit v1.06 (if you do not wish to save any existing presets you may skip this step) Quit the POD HD/HD500/HD Pro Edit app and launch Line 6 Monkey to install POD HD/HD500/HD Pro Edit v2.26 Complete the POD HD/HD500/HD Pro Edit installation and launch Monkey once again to install POD HD/HD500/HD Pro Flash Memory v2.62 During the installation, Monkey will ask if you want to keep your presets, click ‘No’, and complete the installation following the on-screen instructions. On the POD HD500, you *must* reset the global setup options which includes resetting the Setlist names and pedal calibration by: Disconnect the USB cable connection between HD500 and host computer. Power off the POD HD500. Power on the POD HD500 while holding the LEFT ARROW [*] If you do not do this, one of the tell-tale symptoms that may surface after a Monkey Flash Memory update is that the HD500 will be stuck in a continuous re-boot/power cycling state (you'll keep seeing the Logo and the unit keeps re-starting itself). Sometimes this may not occur, but a secondary telltale sign that a user has not performed a Global Settings reset is the USB communication between the HD500 and HD500 Edit software will be extremely slow/sluggish. ***NOTE: Please also make sure to re-calibrate the onboard expression pedal of the HD500 after performing the Global Settings reset. Instructions: How to calibrate the POD HD500X\HD500 Expression Pedal. [*]Launch POD HD/HD500/HD Pro Edit to restore any saved presets. **Please note that any previously saved presets that were corrupted in any way will be discarded and set to New Tone (Reset) once imported into POD HD/HD500/HD Pro Edit 2.00. For more information about POD HD/HD500/HD Pro, visit our POD HD500X\HD500\POD HD\POD HD Pro FAQ. Advanced User's Guide The latest version of the Advanced User's Guide for the POD HD500 can be found here. Ces presets ressemblent à ceci: "New Tone (Reset)". 5. Q: What are Mobile In digital input adaptor and Mobile POD® app? A: Mobile In is a digital input adaptor that connects your guitar or a stereo line-level audio source to your Apple® iPhone® 4S, iPhone® 4, iPad® (3rd generation), iPad® 2 or iPad®. Also works with iPhone® 5 but requires an Apple-branded Lightning to 30-in adapter cable. Learn more Mobile POD is a free app that lets you rock anytime you want with 64 fully tweakable Line 6 models. Hear them in action Q: Why doesn't Mobile In work with my iPod touch 4G? A: At this time, iPod touch 4G only works with digital audio interfaces that include both audio inputs and audio outputs. This limitation is built into the iPod touch and nothing that the interface manufacturer can affect. Some digital guitar interfaces for iOS devices, including Mobile In and models from other manufacturers, contain inputs but no outputs and as a result aren't recognized by iPod touch 4G. This is why Line 6 does not list iPod touch 4G as a supported iOS device for Mobile In. Q: Will a Lightning adapter work with Mobile In? A: As it stands, we do know that using an adapter works. It is not packaged with the unit because we cannot assume that all users will need it. Q: How many models are in Mobile POD app? A: There are 64 fully adjustable models based on celebrated vintage and modern gear. 32 guitar amplifiers, 18 stompbox and rack effects, and 16 guitar cabinets. Learn more Q: What kind of inputs does Mobile In have? A: Mobile In has two inputs: 1/8-inch guitar input with 110 dB dynamic range and 1/8-inch stereo line input with 98 dB dynamic range. (One high-quality 6-foot guitar cable with 1/8-inch and 1/4-inch ends included.) Mobile In supports up to 24-bit/48 kHz digital audio. Q: Can I use Mobile In with other CoreAudio apps beside Mobile POD app? A: Mobile In works with many other apps besides Mobile POD. Q: Can I use Airplay or Bluetooth headphones with Mobile In? A: The current version of Mobile POD does not support the use of airplay or bluetooth headphones. Q: Does the Mobile In work with Android products? A: Many of you have asked why Line 6 mobile products only work with Apple devices, not Android. Since many smartphone and tablet manufacturers support the Android operating system and have different connectors, it is unfortunately very difficult to develop and support products for these various hardware configurations. Apple devices share a standard, 30-pin dock connector which is why we're able to create a single hardware solution for these devices.
  6. On both Mac and Windows computers with a vertical screen resolution of 800 pixels or less, the Dock or Taskbar may partially obscure the bottom of the POD HD 300/400/500X/500 Edit software which is used to display the 'No Hardware' message. A workaround is to set the Dock or Taskbar to Auto-Hide. Mac:? Click on the Apple icon at the top left of the screen, then, select Dock>Turn Hiding On. Windows:? Right-click the Taskbar and select 'Properties.'? In the window that pops up, check the box for 'Auto-hide the taskbar,' then hit Apply, and Ok.

5. POD Farm 2.5x Plug-Ins zeigen falsche Grafiken oder Benutzeroberflächen an. You can also use any other expression pedal containing a 10k Ohm Potentiometer. Expression pedals allow you to change stompbox controls using your feet so you can adjust the sound while you play. On the fly, you can modify the length of your delay time, dial up the reverb mix, or change the depth of your tremolo, or anything you program the expression pedal to control on the POD HD. Q: How do I assign an effect or amp block to be toggled with a foot switch of an FBV controller? A: In the Signal Flow screen, select the FX or Amp Block which you want assigned to one of your footswitches. Then Press and hold the ENTER button to display the Footswitch Assign screen. The Footswitch Assign page is display is similar to your Signal Flow view. Use Multi-function Knob 1 to select the footswitch to which you want this FX Block assigned. You can also just press the FS switch you would like to assign it to that amp or effect. NOTE: you can assign multiple FX Blocks to a single footswitch or Exp Pedal's "toe switch". You can reference the current Preset’s FX footswitch assignments by pressing the VIEW button to display the Performance View screen. Q: Does the XLR Mic input provide Phantom power for condenser microphones? A: No, the XLR Mic input does not provide Phantom power. You would need to use an external preamp to provide Phantom power to the condenser mic before connecting to the POD HD. Q: How do I calibrate the Expression Pedal of the FBV controller when connected to the POD HD? A: Please go over the following POD HD500 Pedal Calibration document for instructions on how to calibrate the expression pedal of an FBV controller when connected to a POD HD desktop device.
