Hello, my pod hd500x motherboard crashed and i’ll buy the hx effect, but can someone give me the complete preset of the « vocal synth » by pics, it would be easier i think? thx a lot

Seeing as one can edit pretty much anything on the fly with your foot (which I think is a fab feature) I would have thought one should be able to save any changes with your foot as well. Is there a way of doing this? Am I missing something because its not really practical to have to keep remembering to press the save button or click a Mouse after a rehearsal or performance

Got my Helix yesterday and unfortunately copied a new preset over Factory 2 31D. Anybody who can send me the preset to get my stuff back in the original state? Thxs in advance

A:When looking at the list of the banks in the unit, the banks seem to be broken into four different sections: 1. Albert Lee - Julien K 2. Ash - Volto 3. The Accident Experiment - Thursday 4. Songs 50's - Misc. Fun Each of the first 3 sections (artist banks) is alphabetized. Is there a reason all the artist presets overall aren't alphabetized? Hi, I just installed new firmware 2.50 for my Helix LT and it looks as though the midi messages sent from the Helix when changing preset are now wrong... When I switch preset, a midi message is sent out but Cubase recognises it a aftertouch? When I playback the midi track Helix won't aknoledge the incoming message (since it doesn't respond to aftertouch) and it won't change preset. Also, If I copy/paste the recorded messages from aftertouch to program change on my midi track in Cubase, the preset changes on Helix happen exactly as they should (which is how I patch the problem so far). Is there something wrong with Helix sending the wrong midi messages since I updated the firmware? Should I try a factory reset? I did try reinstalling cubase (didn't fix it) but I noticed the midi messages being sent from Helix are the same with another midi monitor software... Thank you!

I am having an issue where multiple foot switches are showing multiple assignments > for example, the scribble says - MULTIPLE (3) - but withing this preset, i have only assigned one block to each foot switch. If I enter Signal Flow, and delete each effect one at a time, then hit home, each FS still has an assigment of MULTIPLE (2) or MULTIPLE (3). When I hit the action button, the 'CLEAR BLOCK' is greyed out. How can I clear out everything from a preset with one action?

Ok, here's the deal, On my main preset, I'm trying to send à midi cc command per snapshot (command center, instant 1, midi cc). I program each snapshot with a different value (0 - 7) and then save the preset. At this point everything works fine and helix will send CC commands at each change of the snapshots. BUT, if I happen to make any further changes in the command center (i.e. footswitch assignment) and then save the preset again, all the differents values, which I adressed per snapshot, now become the same, therefore not sending any midi command out (since there is no longer a different midi cc value between each snapshots). I can reprogram each snapshot individually with the different cc values I want and then save again and everything works again, I just think it's a tedious process each time I do a minor change in the command center... Is there a way to overcome this behavior?

Hi! I updated to the newest Firmware v 2.30.0 and can now only have the helix display (4) stomps. In the prior firmware version I could choose 8 stomps. It appears that now the preset mode only allows for a combination of presets/stomps/snapshots. Is this correct? Is it possible for me to display on the helix 8 stomps like previous firmware?? I've been looking through the LT manual and trying various methods...and can't seem to find this. Isn't it possible to copy a snapshot from 1 preset and paste into a completely different preset to another snapshot. I see where you can copy/swap/paste within "A" preset, but seems crazy with all this unit can do that you couldn't do this. Nooby trying to figure it out - thanks in advance for any help. K

good evening. does anybody know if a chart with all the default settings (effects & co.) exist for POD XTs? something like below: preset comp (gate) stomp mod delay cab/ a.i.r. 2A off off off off on 2B on on on off on 2C on off off off off 2D off off off off on i'd need that to program better a Behringer FCB1010 UnO and, due to midi messages exchange, i need to know which ones are active in each preset, to avoid sending every midi message at changing bank/preset.

Greetings folk, is there a list of the factory installed presets that come with the Helix (Rack) that you can point me too please? I've had a look but can't find anything. My previous Line6 purchases did. Many thanks in advance. Tim

My POD HD 400 automatically activates the "preset" knob which I use as a Reverb knob for my effects. It doesn't only modify the amount of effect by taking it to 99% instead of the 10% I usually have it set up, but it even changes the kind of reverb (I usually use the "room" reverb, but it goes to "plate" on its own). This is the first time it happens. I tried updating the firmware and the flash memory with the Line6 Monkey, but the problem is still there. What else could I do to solve this problem? Have you heard of something similar on other Line 6 products? Thanks in advance for your help on this.

I've been having this problem since I bought the Helix, and blaming myself for it ("oh, maybe I skipped that step..." kind of thinking) but last night I followed every single step and yes, 2.10 is now running --- Intermission --- Let me just take a few seconds to thank and congratulate the team. I'm loving the new models, and I'll surely put the new expression pedal functionality to good use --- Back to program --- 2.10 is now running, smoothly. The thing is, what's failing is the update process. There are certain patches (six of them) that fail to rebuild or import (or export, I'm not sure). Helix doesn't rebuild them properly. One half of the DSP is missing, in some cases it's the first half (what would correspond to paths 1 and 2), and sometimes it's the second half (3 and 4). The first time I was annoyed, but I was still getting acquainted with the machine, so I didn't care too much. I went for my backed up patches (both as a bundle and separate playlists) and tried to restore them, but they were as corrupt as what Helix itself had turned the originals to. "Not a big deal, my patches are still in diapers" I thought. Next update. Same problem. Then 2.0, same problem. By then, it was the third time I had to rebuild those patches. I skipped 2.01 because I didn't want to go through it again, and I didn't really feel the need to update. So last night I went and made screenshots of everything in those patches, to be able to restore them later. Different USB cables, different computers (3 or 4 so far, I'm not sure) and different versions of the editor, drivers, firmware... everything. Any idea before I submit a ticket? Hi All, I am writing you to propose the creation of a new footswitch mode which I believe would be very useful, especially for rehearsal or gigs. I usually use just a few presets (around 8), each including a few “direct access switches†such as volume boost on/off, modulation on/off that I often use. In order to do this I need to run my mighty Helix in STOMP footswitch mode. Unfortunately, this means that I have to step on BANK UP or DOWN every time I have to change the preset, in order to temporarily enter PRESET mode. This is not very comfortable as I have to always stomp two times to select a new preset. My proposal is to create a new mode, “MIX MODEâ€, where · FS2, FS3, FS4 and FS5: correspond to FS2, FS3, FS4 and FS5 footswitch of the STOMP MODE, · FS8, FS9, FS10 and FS11: correspond to FS8, FS9, FS10 and FS11 of the PRESET mode. This will allow the player to easily: 1. recall a new preset, by simply stomping on FS8, FS9, FS10 and FS11 (just one stomp) 2. activate/deactivate the preset’s FS2, FS3, FS4 and FS5 direct access switches using FS2, FS3, FS4 and FS5 (just one stomp) 3. Scroll through the banks by using FS1 and FS7 (just one stomp) This behavior would be similar to traditional MIDI controllers, such as MARK-L FX 25 ACE: it has a row of footswitches to recall presets and another one for direct access switches. What do you think of this idea?

Most of my patches are saved with the basic amp and reverb settings switched on, but with overdrive, a modulation effect and delay set up but switched off. So when I'm playing I'll switch those on as needed. The next time I use the patch, I want it to be in its saved state, with the overdrive, modulation and delay effects switched off. However the HD300 keeps them switched in, even if I select another patch and go back to the original one, it still has the variations switched on. Is there any way using the footswitches to recall a patch with its settings as they were saved?

Hello, i've bought a pod HD500X myself this week. Now i have found some interesting sound presets for the HD500. Can i copy them to my HD500X (via the line 6 edit software) without causing errors or even damaging my HD500X? Thanks for your help!

I made it with the new matchstick amp on path 1 and put all the same FX on each path and have a toggle control the same FX on each path. I put a toggle called High Gian that swaps paths, the path 2 amp is supposed to be clean and you can hit the Timmy distortion to get a little overdriven sound and you can hit the High Gain for more of a hard rock/metal sound. Also setup a lead boost toggle. Kind of like a 3 channel amp. Let me know if you think it sounds good, I don't know how good my ear for tone is. Please be aware that downloaded tones, patches and presets that were created by other users have the potential to be corrupted and not work correctly on the target device. Firewall/Antivirus/Internet security applications, Internet/video accelerators and proxy servers, among other things, can be causes of trouble with downloaded files. If your device freezes, a rule of thumb is to back up your custom patches, reset the unit to its factory state, ensure the unit does not freeze while in this state, then load your patches one by one, testing after each load to determine which patch is faulty. Hi. Does someone have some kind of a "4 channel"-preset (or more), with a nice and clear clean, a warm bluesy low-Gain sound, a Marshall 800 like mid-Gain and a shredding high-Gain sound + solo-option. I heard it is possible to configure one preset that way to be used as a highly flexible multi channel amp. I would use your preset as a default construction for finding my basic tones in just one preset. Warm regards, Sascha (Please excuse my poor English. I'm from Gemany)

my helix arrives tomorrow, so perhaps this will become obvious once I start fiddling with the unit, BUT.. What are the primary differences between the two modes: preset & stombox?? From an application standpoint, I mean. I would love to have 5 or 6 FS assigned to different amp stacks. None of these amp stacks will have any fx built-in. I would also like 2 or 3 FS assigned to my most used delay & verb. I plan on running most of my spacial & modulation fx through the fx loops to my eventide h9's...using the helix mainly for different amp tones. I'm in a gigging cover band, & I'm trying to envision what type of tap-dance I will have to do during a show.

Hi everyone, I purchased the Line 6 Amplifi a couple months ago and it's been quite enjoyable. I've just started playing guitar so I find the pre-set tones that users have created to be very helpful as a beginner as I don't know the amp settings for a lot of songs. My main problem is that a lot of songs I want to play don't have tones already created or haven't been made by the community yet. Or they are quite low rating. So my question is, how do I create my own amp settings for songs I want to play? As I'm a beginner, I'm very unfamiliar with creating amp settings as I don't know is needed and it's hard for me to replicate a sound by ear. I'm a big fan of Muse and I want to play some of their songs such as: Supermassive black hole Stockholm Syndrome Showbiz New Born And various others. Some of these don't have any tones created and others have low ratings so I'm wondering how I can create my own? The manual isn't brilliant for this amp so I'm uncertain whether I can download a tone from online. Does anyone have any suggestions on how a beginner can create their own tones for songs? Thank you.
