  1. I set up my Helix Floor as an audio interface to Presonus Studio One 6 this morning; recording was fine. However, I couldn’t hear the playback. After a little while I realized that I needed to adjust the Global Settings output destination. That worked. To a point. The recorded playback was very distorted, even at low volume. The meters on the Helix were barely registering a signal, so I’m perplexed. The meters on the DAW were showing a healthy signal: not too quiet, no clipping. Any ideas?
  2. I have a Helix lt, Variax 89f guitar, and a Tascam us 2x2 on my mac. The Tascam used combined xlr trs. i want to buy Presonus Eris E5 xt monitors 2 parts but i need also 2 cables to connect the 2 monitors to the output of the Tascam. I only see xlr cables male to female, i need male to male? the monitors do have female? and the Tascam also have Female connector? is that correct?
  3. When Studio One is in Low Latency Monitoring mode, parameter changes are not passed to Helix Native v1.90+ until LLM is disabled. Firstly, Helix Native is stable and functions normally in Studio One as well as any other VST3/ AU host. Studio One’s Low Latency Monitoring mode is different in that it keeps a plugin’s processing active, while Low Latency mode in other DAWs such as Logic and Pro Tools bypass plugins that incur latency above a certain threshold. This mode is only used during tracking, and while edits made to Helix Native in this state don’t take effect, Helix Native does process audio and allows tracking with low latency. If Helix Native parameter changes are desired, toggle the low latency monitoring option.
  4. Hey, I want to run my processor like AXE FX where you can put that into a studio session and program effect presets change at any downbeat you want during the song. Right now I have my HD 500x processor plugged in to my computer by USB, and Studio One has it programed as an external device. Now I need to figure out how to bring it into the session so I can place effect presets.
  5. Only Studio One Producer and Studio One Professional supports 3rd party plug-ins, please make sure your version is correct. You can check the link below for comparison. https://www.presonus.com/products/studio-one/compare-versions If your version is correct, please follow the steps below. For Mac: 1) Launch Studio One, go to 'Studio One -> Preferences -> Locations -> VST Plug-ins' 2) Make sure the location is added: VST: 'Library/Audio/Plug-ins/VST' Audio Units: '/Library/Audio/Plug-ins/Components/ 3) Please tick the 'Scan at startup' option, make sure Studio One scans your plug-ins at the program startup. For Windows 1) Launch Studio One, go to 'Studio One -> Preferences -> Locations -> VST Plug-ins' 2) Make sure the correct location is added. The default location is below: C:\Program Files\VSTPlugins 3) Please tick the 'Scan at startup' option, make sure Studio One scans your plug-ins at the program startup.
  6. Hi I currently use Studio One 2 to record. Right now I have a few dry guitar tracks that I want to enhance using Pod Farm. I can't figure out how to use Pod Farm as a plugin, I've looked at the manual which says, "VST plugins are installed in /Library/Audio/Plug-ins/VST/Line 6" but when open the final line 6 folder it turns out to be empty. I tried to re install Pod Farm and follow a few other tutorials on the Line 6 forums. If anyone has any suggestions it would be appreciated. Thanks so much
  7. Just got my 2nd L3T to go with my JTV 69 and HD 500x... Traded in 2 Mackie 450v2s and an 1801 sub. I currently am using a Presonus 16.4.2 and got the Studio One Professional software to go with it... Wondering if the files from the M20D can be edited by the Presonus software. I actually was able to do some nice recordings with it, and have some $$ invested in it, so as I think of going to the M20D I'm wondering if I also need different software. Thanks! Larry
  8. I had a IMac, digidesign protools mbox, and KB37 with toneport gearbox for several years now. My IMac crashed, lost all my songs, and info is un-retrievable. So.. I bought a Presonus audio box with studio one and a new PC with windows7 32 bit I want to continue using my KB37 but it's several years old, it has the old version of gearbox before pod farm came out. Is there anyway to get this thing compatible with windows 7 and upgrade to podfarm? I loved the sound I got with the toneport and how easy it was to get a nice sound. I'm pretty tec dumb so any help would be greatly appreciated. So in short, I have an old KB37 circa 2008 or 2009, I would love to update to work with studio one on windows 7. Or am I out of luck? Thank you for any responses
  9. Hello. I wanted to ask if it is possible to connect the POD HD500 XLR outputs directly to the inputs of my Presonus AudioBox 22VSL. According Presonus 22VSL not support the direct line connections. But I guess the XLR balanced outputs will POD HD500 and impedance level suitable for connecting to the Presonus AudioBox 22VSL. Thank you very much in advance for your help. (sorry for my poor English)
  10. I have purchased the UX1 and POD farm, and downloaded the metal pack, a Presonus Firestudio, and pro tools 10, and I cannot figure out how to get my full POD farm to work with the presonus, it just loads the demo version, I can't access my metal pack or any of the rest of the stuff I've purchased. Also, WHY is it so freakin' hard to navigate the line6 support stuff? I find it extremely use UNFRIENDLY! It's like pulling teeth to get answers!! SO FRUSTRATED!!
