  1. I'm using MIDI control rather than a floorboard. Is there a way to have more than 2 EXP pedals? I'd like to have (like I did with my original POD) one for volume, one for wah, one for fading echo or reverb in/out, etc. Can I do that?
  2. My new pod pro HD X sounds lethal and I'm using the big bottom model for modern metal stuff just as I did on my XT Pro I've just let go -- sounds great through monitors using both R and L mono out and of course headphones. USB output as my audio device is really really fizzy -- same tone but a lot less bass, very muffled and a very loud scratchy high end, as if it's only recording part of the tone. I've googled lots of threads with people just talking about line 6 fizz but the tone is fine -- just through USB it's doing this. I've checked already the POD USB is studio direct not front end etc, made sure all levels are fine, but results via USB are totally different. Read a good few posts about editing the 'Z' value in HD Pro Edit (22k, 3.5m etc) and whilst that changes some parts of the tone it still sounds very off through USB. What am I missing here? I'd prefer to use the USB audio device method rather than line out so I can sell my interface and have a cleaner rig. Thanks, JP
  3. hey guys - new here so if this already a post my apologies. i'm running a wireless G50 system from my guitar into my Pod HD Pro X into the LINE INPUT (L-MONO) on the back of my Pod set on the -10db switch, which is then going out into a SAMSON SERVO 200 Power Amplifier into a MARSHALL 4x12 cab. I play progressive/metal hardcore and the tones in this thing are absolutely phenomenal - sounds like a real amp. clean and drive tones sound fantastic when i plug straight into the GUITAR INPUT on the front of the POD, but i'm trying to keep the face of my rack nice and tidy so i thought i'd run wireless into the back into the Line Input. this is where my problem is - the drive channels and my pads and lead channels work absolutely fine, but i cannot for the life of me get the Clean channels to work through it - absolutely NO sound what-so-ever even though they work absolutely fine plugged into the FRONT GUITAR INPUT. can anyone point me towards a solution? cheers B)
  4. I recently bought a line 6 pod HD pro X, I'm really confused On the footcontroller page it says ("NOTE: FBV Shortboard is NOT compatible with Ax212™, Flextone™ I, II or HD, POD® Pro, Bass POD®, Bass POD® Pro and Spider™.)" But then i go on the compatibility chart it has a red checkmark saying its compatible http://line6.com/footcontrollers/compatibility.html Same story with the full size board (which I'd prefer) (NOTE: FBV is NOT compatible with Ax212™, Flextone™I, II or HD, POD® Pro, Bass POD®, Bass POD® Pro and Spider™.) http://line6.com/footcontrollers/fbv.html Anyone know's what's the story?
  5. Hey, I really REALLY like the Line 6 POD Pro X, because it's unbelievably affordable and sounds great. But, I don't like the Line 6 controllers very much. Can I hook up a normal midi controller to it? Also, how many other midi devices can I control at the same time? On an unrelated note, I play 8 and 10 stringed guitars, and will this be able to handle that kind of low end? Does the chromatic tuner work that well? Thanks!
  6. So, when is it available...?
