Hi All, I had a rummage through the forum and couldn't find anything similar :-/ The problem: Pedal C and Modulation pedal both don't work: no light when pressed; no change to function; i,e, Rest of the unit can't see those 2 pedals being pressed. Everything else works fine. What happened? The power supply socket on the motherboard came a bit loose, and power was cutting in and out. - I opened the POD. Got the motherboard out. HAD TO DISCONNECT THE RIBBON CABLE from the motherboard (the one that goes to the two pedal banks. Also disconnected the ribbon cable at the Volume/wah pedal end. - Unsoldered the power socket from the motherboard - it did have a broken leg. Soldered in a new one - power was all good after that. But..... Having put the motherboard back into the top half of the POD body, and reconnected the ribbon cables, although the power is fine, and all the functions work, Two pedals don't work: Pedal C and the Modulation Pedal. i.e. the LED doesn't come on, and the functions don't change. ALL the other pedals and functions are fine. I used a circuit tested to confirm that the buttons behind the two offending pedals are both fine - they behave exactly like all the other buttons when they're attached to the circuit tested and pushed. So, I suspect there's a problem either in the ribbon cable, or somewhere beyond that. ...and that's where I'm stuck. Help!! Is it time to sell this XT Live for spares? Is there an easy fix? Something else??? Thanks in advance :-) -
When I change the channel, (clean, crunch, metal, insane) The volume goes up all the way. I already tried factory resetting it, but the problem persists. What can I do to fix this??

Hi everyone. I have a problem with my PODxt. I bought in shop much years ago a PODxt, a Bass PODxt and a FBV Express (this is not MKII). I used both POD with my FBV Express without problem, until one day, various years after, I thought to register here only my PODxt and downloaded some sounds of others users here. Well, since then, my PODxt stopped working with my FBV Express, however my Bass PODxt working perfectly with my FBV Express, like it always did. I think that the problem appeared when I registered my PODxt here. The result: the FBV express get the changes from the PODxt but the PODxt don´t get the changes from the FBV Express, a serious problem, the FBV Express no working with the PODxt. The Line6 support told me that is a problem unknown here and that I could make it one factory reset ti the PODxt and I did it. The PODxt only has the factory sounds now but the problem persit. The Line6 support send me to places with many links with solutions of problems of the others users, but that doesn´t help me. Could somebody help me, please?. So, I bought a Vetta 1 combo today and it was working perfectly in the store. I brought I home and plugged it in and was presented with this (see image) the screen looks garbled and wonky. I took it back to the store because they have a 60 day warranty on used items and i won’t have it back for about 2 weeks. Does anybody know anything about this? I thought it had something to do with the internal battery but I just want to see if anyone here knows anything about this.

Bonjour est-ce que quelqu'un a déjà rencontré ce type de problème avec son port USB hs après avoir appuyé sur le bouton GROUND LIFT SWITCH de HÉLIX FLOOR ? J'étais en répétition ,mon hélix floor branché XLR Outs sur ma sono Yamaha et sur mon Mac via USB HX Edit , pour affiner et mémoriser tous mes réglages avant le concert, ce que je trouve qui est très pratique sur HÉLIX LINE6 . Quand tous les réglages ont été réalisés, j'entendais quand même un petit bourdonnement et j'ai voulu appuyer sur le petit bouton GROUND LIFT SWITCH en espérant supprimer ses petits bourdonnement et là MALHEUR MALHEUR en appliquant sur ce petit bouton j'ai entendu un petit claque et je n'avais plus de connexion entre mon HELIX FOOR et mon MAC et HX Edit me dit que je ne suis plus connecté . Mon HELIX FLOOR a tout juste deux ans et demi il n'est plus garanti . Donc j'ai envoyé mon HELIX en réparation à OXYGEN SAV à Lyon, pensant que cela n'allait pas me coûter très cher , Et là le gros claque oxygène qui me coupe le souffle avec un devis de réparation d'un montant de 422, 94 € Ouf. Je ne vais malheureusement pas pouvoir le faire réparer et d' être obligé de devoir m'en servir sans cette option qui est très coûteuse . Donc plus de mises à jour et plus d'achat en boutique ,où j'avais déjà pas mal investi entre hélix native tous les pack et IRS que j'ai acheté en boutique. Je suis donc très très déçu d'avoir touché à ce petit bouton pour moi le problème pose plus car je ne peux pas le faire réparer mais je le dis pour les autres faites attention si vous voulez appuyer sur ce petit bouton ça peut coûter très cher. I have an interesting bug in my Shuriken Variax I need to fix Whatever 12string guitar I use theres a problem with D string. When I play open D string the parallel (high) note is not in octave but octave plus one halfstep... Therefore only this string is out of tune. Funny thing is when I start pressing frets on D string the harmonics are octave as the shoud be... This bug is only while playing open D string. Any ideas how to fix it, Already went through factory reset. Thanks Zabis

Hi I have a problem with my Line 6 POD HD500X. I can’t use POD to changing preset on Neural DSP. I have a MacBook Air and use USB- MIDI interface Cable converter to connecting POD to computer. This is my settings: POD Gereral settings Midi chanel 1 Midi out/thru Preset settings Midi chanel 01 Message CC CC#001 Value 000 Neural DSP settings Type CC Preset Channel 1 CC #1 Please help me... -
HX Stomp hangs after 1.5-2 hour of use, the device gets unresponsive and there is no sound at all (bypass isn't working). Sometimes reboot helps, sometimes it hangs on reboot as well. The device itself is very warm, maybe it is overheating or something. The firmware is 3.11. What should I do with that?

Hi, I would really appreciate someone's help on this! The issue is that I am running in parallel mode and the EQ on the parallel channel is affecting the entire sound. Here are the specifics: On the parallel channel I am running both the "Simple Pitch" and then the EQ "Low and High Cut" . I need to EQ the "Simple Pitch" because it is too bright for my purposes so I want to reduce the high end frequencies of only the "Simple Pitch" sound, which is on the parallel channel. The problem is that the EQ "Low and High Cut" is definitely affecting the entire sound. It should only affect the sound of whatever is on the parallel channel. Please let me know what I am doing wrong. Thanks so much, ric

Hi! I have a problem, I use the pod hd500x and an engl invader, I connect the midi in of the amplifier (configure omni engl) to the pod, I configure omni in the pod, and it changes the channel, that is, it communicates well, I can change the variax preset, the effects preset by fxloop, and the amp channel with its gains, noise gate, volume A / B, etc. my problem is that when I connect the guitar cable it makes a lot of noise, like fireworks, and it only disappears if I remove the midi, which prevents me from changing the channel of the engl, although if I use the FX loop, If I do without the 4-wire method, it happens to me that with the guitar's wireless it goes well, but as soon as I put a cable instead of wireless it puts noise again, until I disconnect the midi out of the pod .. I don't understand what happens What is different about the wireless cable? ... In the end in summary I can use the pod well as long as I use the z15 to change channels. But I want everything from one, that I have already seen that it is possible, but the noise prevents me. I have to find the one who communicates well via midi and voila Can you give me any suggestions? I change the omni of the pod for a specific channel? Any opinion or criticism is welcome.

Not so long ago, I began to notice that I don't like the sound of helix. The main problem is that the signal does not seem to be hot enough. It's like the volume on the guitar is slightly lowered. And everything was fine before, but I don't remember what update this problem started with. I tried different guitars (prs sc250, esp horizon with emg), tried turning on/off the PAD button, tried resetting to factory settings. Tell me what the problem may be, otherwise I have already broken my brain) I forgot to say that I play through studio monitors, but it also sounds the same when recording

Hello all. I’ll try my best to explain this, I’ve only been playing a bit over a year so my terminology is sub par. I bought this amp for $400+ effing dollars and within 2 months of owning it, I go to practice and I notice my sound is now very fuzzy and bassy. It was VERY crunchy, clear and metal sounding, but now it is so fuzzy that I can barely distinguish my notes when fast picking or fingering......sounds like total crap TBH. I have never moved the amp since I brought it home. No liquids, physical damage, weather damage or anything. Curious what I can try to fix this? I’m somewhat tech savvy, and would really rather avoid paying more to get it fixed when I can barely afford the $400 amp itself. I’ve gone through all the settings, factory reset it, but nothing. It will randomly work for a minute or two out of nowhere, but will go back to sounding awful soon. Adjusting the Input jack has no effect to the sound. One thing I noticed, is when this happened, the built in tuner stopped reading my input..... would act as if I was unplugged. The tuner has since started working again, but the speaker itself (or the software, not a clue...) still sounds very Fuzzy with low distortion, low clarity, and very bassy.

I need help! Once upon a time, when I would download presets from the site, they would probably come up with their snapshots. Maybe I accidentally touched something, I dont know. But today, when I download Frist I get it without the snapshots. For example there is a preset that I downloaded last month, and the exact same preset that I added again now. And suddenly he has no snapshots. What can I do? Anyone know? See photos. -
Hi, I've just got a new Spider V 20 MkII as an upgrade to my Spider III. I was surprised and disappointed to hear the loud buzzing and high-pitched whine coming from the amp on all settings except clean. My Spider III is completely silent on all modes, including INSANE. The Spider V is pretty much unusable because of the noise emitted when there is no significant input from a guitar. I have tried changing guitars, changing instrument cables, using different power sockets, moving to different rooms, but nothing seems to improve it. I can remove a lot of the noise using the Spider Remote noise gate and adjusting gains, but I don't see why that should be necessary with out of the box, factory preset tones. Is there something wrong with my Spider V amp or is this just something this amp does? Any help in getting rid of this unwanted buzz and whine is appreciated. Thanks

I have hxstomp and es-8 from boss to controll snapshot and other pedals. This problem happens.↓↓ ・Send midi message from es-8 to hxstomp to change snapshot1→2 or 2→3 etc... Usually hxstomp responses it, but sometimes does not. Do you think why this problem happen? If you have same issues, please help me. -
Hi guys... Firstly, the problem I am having has only happened since I updated to Helix 3.0. So - when I load a new preset and go to snapshot mode, as soon as I press a footswitch for an alternative snapshot, I get the small 'E' icon which suggests I have edited something. any further switching of snapshots doesn't help and the snapshots do not default back to the original settings. Yet, when I go out of the preset and come back into it and go back into snapshot mode again, the 'E' has gone but returns as soon as I hit a footswitch. I have seen other users are experiencing the same issue. Please help with this problem - Thanks

Hello guys, I hope someone sees this because I am at a loss as to how to fix this issue I'm having... I recently moved into a new apartment and ever since my HX Stomp has been acting up. Almost every time I turn it off, my entire system freezes (kind of). This means: everything disconnects, all bluetooth devices are thrown out and my external HDD is disconnected (scary!!!). Essentially I causing me to have to hard-restart my Mac (Retina, Late 2015) via the Power-Button. I'm afraid the Stomp is gonna fry my system, is there anything I can do? Is this issue even known? I hope someone can help me because I really love my HX Stomp but I can't use it via USB if this keeps up... Thank you in advance.

Hey there, I recently encountered a problem with my Helix Lt and haven't had any success in fixing it so far. I use my unit as an interface to record into Cubase from time to time. However, the device's driver doesn't show up in the drop-down menu where it could usually be selected anymore. Has anyone had this problem before? If so, I would be very happy if you could give me some advice. Thanks in advance. Rock on!

Hello everyone, I have a problem with my HX Stomp. I bought it 6 months ago and been using it as both audio interface or plugged into my scarlett ever since. I'm really satisified. Lately, I decided to use it as an effect stomp in front of a tube amp (effects only, no amp or IRs) or straight into the PA. All I got from these two scenarios was disturbing noise and no sound. The routing signal has always been: guitar - jack cable - Hx stomp - jack cable coming out of the L/mono main output - Amp or PA. Nothing worked. Needless to say, I checked all the cables I used and they're all good, I used 4 different amps, 3 PAs. Has anyone ever experienced something similar? PS: as audio interface or in front of my Scarlett (L/mono output to interface preamp) works very well. Thanks so much! Love to all

Hey y’all! First post here. I’m gonna try to explain this as clearly as possible, but it’s kind of confusing, so bear with me and let me know if you can help. I’m running my pedalboard into the front of the HX Stomp (no FX loops or effects after the Stomp). The last pedals in my chain are a mono input into my Timeline > L/R out into my Big Sky > L/R out to the L/R ins of the HX Stomp, which is then running L/R out to a stereo DI into FOH. Easy peasy. Both channels are working and receiving signal at the board. I’m trying to run the Essex AC30 and the Matchless Jump in true stereo. I split the AC30 and its IR on path A, and the Matchless and its IR on path B. I panned path A hard L and path B hard R on both the split and the merge. After the merge, I then put a stereo EQ and a stereo compressor at modest settings before hitting the Out. SO, the problem I’m having is that one of the channels is receiving the amp, IR, EQ and compressor with no issues. The OTHER channel however is only receiving my Big Sky’s Reverb (and maybe the delay) from my board. It’s like it’s only receiving the wet effects, but no dry signal. It’s so weird and I’ve been wracking my brain like CRAZY to try to figure out what the heck I’m doing wrong. SO...that’s my long-winded explanation. Any ideas?

Hi, I am using the UX1 to plug my guitar in to my Mac (I'm on Catalina) to record using logic pro x. It lets me play/record for about 30 seconds and then basically just feeds back one never ending sounding horrible note (no its not my playing, classic lols). I have recently updated my line 6 software & mac, changed cables. All the usual things I can think of but nothing works. Has anyone had this problem or know how to fix it. Many thanks! Rich

Hi, all, Of course, I seem to have the one problem that I cannot find on Google, YouTube, etc, so her I am.. i have just just updated My Helix Native to the latest iteration and I have also purchased IR’s from Line 6 and Dl’ed the free Allure pack, as well. the problem is I can’t seem to be able to use them. They don’t drag and drop as it shows in videos, also when I drag and I are to where I want ita white no go sign appears that seems to be telling me “No Dice, Baby.” can anyone share a solution with me? I bought a refurbished Firehawk FX that always boots into a weird menu. I'm not able to exit the menu, nor I can perform the factory reset. I've tried updating the device to different version multiple times on two computers but the problem persists. I'm aware that this menu is propably the so called update menu I've heard some people talk about which is supposed to be opened by pressing A+C buttons when powering up, but I haven't seen any pictures of it anywhere so I can only guess. So I took a video: Should I assume my Firehawk is broken? I can still return the device. EDIT: Each time I've performed an update, the updater has indicated that the updates succeeded.

I am a relatively new user to the Helix and I'm having an issue with latency when I'm switching between snapshots in a given bank. When I purchased the unit it had firmware 2.3 installed and I updated to the latest firmware version and everything went smoothly. I cannot say for sure but I felt like I wasn't getting a latency issue when switching between snapshots before the update and if I understand correctly I shouldn't be having that issue. Like I said, I'm not sure if the latency was existing before the update but it is definitely present now and it will make my music unplayable due to dynamics and what not. If anyone can give me some insight here that would be super appreciated, thank you.
