  2. Hello, I started this topic is this section because you don't have a section for my amp. I know my amp is a bogner but they told me that it was manufactured by line6 so I'm seeking help with you. When I connect my footswitch, sometimes the amp randomly changes channel. I have a friend that also has that amp and his started to randomly switching channels even with the footswitch connected. I believe this is a problem with the relay switching, maybe it gets overheated os something... Can you provide some kind of help? Thanks
  3. Hello, In this post I am asking anyone who had the random spontaneous model changes problem with their Variax guitar, and found the solution to your problem, and that solution was NOT "sent it to an authorised Line 6 repair facility", to post me the solution that worked for you. I've already read all the posts about flashing the firmware and trying different cables. I'm looking for success stories on this problem. I want to know if anyone actually fixed this problem permanently.. by doing some tech work on the guitar... and how you did it. Thanks for your help.
  4. Hi guys, I'm having a strange problem with my HD400. The thing is it randomly turns up or down any of the FX1, FX2, FX3 knobs of the "Smart FX" controls and the reverb knob too. It can be seen in the screen when it happens. I'm not quite sure what causes it, but I suspect that it has to do with the footswitches. Maybe hitting them a little harder than necessary causes this failure. Does anyone knows if it can be solved or fixed?
  5. Hi, I have a Spider IV 150 HD head and cab. It is about 3 years old, and I've used it for tons of shows. Recently, especially after unloading it after a show, when I plug in my guitar, it acts like it is going to work, then the volume will go off, then come back in short burst lasting no more than a second or two. When I try to hit a note or strum the guitar, it makes a popping sound, but if I hold the note, the volume will act fine for a few seconds, then go off again. This will happen very randomly. I can sit and practice for 2 hours, then it will start acting up and won't work again for a while. Then it will randomly starting working fine again and be fine for days or even weeks. I've been very careful with it when unloading it and using it. Although it has been used in very cold and very hot temperatures. I have some important shows coming up, and don't want this to randomly start happening in the middle of the performance, so was just wondering if there was anything I could do to prevent this. I am going to try a factory reset, but it could be days before I know it this truly worked. Not sure if this matters but the guitars that this has happened with are an ESP LTD EC-1000FR and a Sterling JP-70. Thanks for any help!
  6. My Bass Pod xt live has taken to jumping into the amp tone control display all by itself. Seeing the display is not the problem, but the reason it does it, is that it thinks that a tone control has moved. This means that all of my tone settings change to whatever the knobs are set to. It will typically do it a second after I select/reselect a tone. Sometimes it settles for a few minutes, but I never know when it going to change. I've tried tapping around the controls and it does not seem to be vibration ( unless I really thump it) How can I stop it?
