I'm using Reason 10 as my DAW, and whenever I load Helix Native, esp if I go to a user preset (a new blank slot or one of my previously made patches) I get auto patch changes even when the sequencer is not moving and no midi is being sent. Any ideas what causes this or how to prevent it? For example, I turn off the delay and reverb at the end of my patch (bypass) to hear the pure tone so I can edit the noise gate, and while I'm tweaking and playing, the reverb turns on for no good reason, and I look up and sure enough, I'm on snapshot 2, when I DIDNT MAKE ANY SNAPSHOTS because it's a BRAND NEW PATCH?! What gives? I'm on OS X 10.12.6 (I know, old, but still meets the requirements, and no I'm not upgrading my OS), and Reason 10.4d4. I'll check Ableton/Logic/PT but even if it *does* work normally in those, I want to use Reason as my VST host and I've never had any problems with any other plugin I've ever used (from Native Instruments, Waves, Roland, Novation, Toontrack, XLN, etc) this Line6 plug is the only thing that has ever shown such weird behavior. Thanks!

Need some help here if anyone will. I've been a Reason user for years and really loved it when Line 6 was a part of the rack instruments. I was sorely pissed when they decided to no longer support Line 6 products. Now that Reason has be upgraded to work with VST plugins I would like to start using Pod Farm in my recording again. Problem is that when I install the VST in Reason breaks it into a number sub-plugins (effects, amps, etc. etc.). I can set up a signal chain in the plugin, but a: cannot save it, and b. cannot load any of my Pod Farm presets. Anyone else run across this issue? Thanks in advance. db

Hi ! I've recently bought Pod Farm 2.5 hoping to make it work on Propellerheads Reason 9.5. I try to make everything work on an iMac on Sierra. I've found the directory containing the VST plugin, namely /Library/Audio/Plug-ins/VST/Line 6 but Reason can't find the plugins... I already use Kontakt Player as a VST plugin on /Library/Audio/Plug-ins/VST, without any problem. If anyone has a hint, it is welcome ;)

Hi. I play heavy metal and used to record with Abelton live lite 7. I'm about to buy a new Ux2, bit the new ones only comes with Reason Limited software, and no Riff Works or Abelton. 1) Is Reason Limited abel to record as Abelton? 2) What's the difference between Reason Limited and Reason Adapted? 3) Does Reason Limited allows plugins like Ezdrummer and Isotope Ozone? Thanks

custome tones want to open in reason instead of hd500 edit
deucethesoundman posted a topic in POD HD
So when I download a new tone from the line 6 website, it goes in my downloads and when I click on it to open it while I have hd500 edit opens, it wants to open the line 6 amp in reason. Any know how to fix? Really weird, never had this problem before. Just started doing it. -
Hi there, I wonder if anyone can help with a conundrum I've found myself in. The USB port on my 2-year-old GX is broken, the light comes in when you plug it in at just the right angle but only on red, and I rang the help desk up and they agreed with that diagnosis. Fixing it would apparently be £30+ including postage etc, on something that only costs £80 new..... Is there any way I can still use Pod Farm and the Reason Line6 rack with the extra amps? I've bought an extension FX set as well so I'd really prefer to keep on using that. I've got another guitar to USB port that seems to work ok though, so maybe this is a bit miserly but it seems like a waste to get shell out more cash just to get access to what I've already paid for. Also, I've got an existing Reason track that won't play back properly, because of some of the amps used! Any suggestions???? All advice greatly welcomed, thank you!

I'm working with reason and will Test the podfarm2 (Free Trail Version) for guitar Recording without a line6 Hardware. Former I worked with a pod xt, but want to find a Solution without any Hardware Device. Everything works fine Running Podfarm together with the reason Balance device. Although I can store an own soundfile (using only One of the three trial Version Amps !!) the line6 rack device in reason gives the Message "missing Models". At the moment I authorized my Computer and the old pod xt. When I Start my pod xt, everything is Fine and the line6 reason rack finds the Models ... But how about working without pod xt? Or is it only possible with a purchased podfarm Version? Can someone help me?

Français Deutsch The Line 6 Guitar Amp within Reason can only handle single tone presets, there is no way to load a POD Farm 2 Dual Tone preset into a single Line 6 Guitar Amp device. However, if you were to split the Dual tones and save each tone as its own individual preset, you can load each preset into it's own Line 6 Guitar Amp within Reason and put then together using a Combinator device with mixer. Just select a Dual Tone you would like to use within the Standalone version of POD Farm 2 and click the 'DUAL' button to the right of the preset name at the top of the window and select 'Remove TONE B' first, then, select FILE>SAVE AS... to save the new single preset with 'Tone A' added at the end of the preset name. Next, reload the original Dual Tone, click the 'DUAL' button once again and select 'Remove TONE A', then select FILE>SAVE AS... to save this single tone preset with 'Tone B' added at the end of the preset name. Now, within Reason, you can create a Combinator, then a Mixer, and 2 Line 6 Guitar Amp devices, each with one of these new presets loaded into the device (Tone A in one, Tone B in the other), and summed together again with another mixer.

Hello I've downloaded a Demo Version of Reason an tried recording guitar with the GX. This did not work. In the tutorials i've seen reason seems to recognize the GX automaticly as the audio input if the Gx is connected and POD Farm opended. In my case the audio input is "Direct X Full Duplex Driver Microphone" which is the microphone of the laptop. The Audio input can't be changed. This is especially wierd because when i plug the gx out reason tells me that i now have less amps. So it does notice that the GX is pluged in. How can this problem be solved? Thanks for your help David

I get this nag pop up every time I fire up Reason 7.01 "Could Not Add Line 6 Models From Hardware: (Computer)" "The Line 6 Amp model set in Reason could not be extended to include additional models from the connected hardware. This is because your hardware isn’t updated for use with Reason yet. You can still use the audio inputs and outputs on the Line 6 hardware and you can still use the default amp models in Reason.
To update your hardware, please visit:
http://line6.com/phreason
and follow the instructions." I have contacted Propellerheads and Line6 about this, none were able to help. I basically don't need the recording side of Reason, I just want to play it's synths on stage. Is there anyway I can removed the Line6 side of things to stop it looking for non connected hardware?

Hello, I just bought a brand new Studio UX2. Upon visiting http://line6.com/propellerheadcode/ and entering the Reason Limited registration code printed on the sheet accompanying the CD, I am met with an error "Unable to find license. Please contact Customer Support.". This is a big pain for me because I'd like to begin using the software immediately. Please resolve this issue for me. Thanks, Ben
