  1. does anyone know is planning on adding external clock sync for the looper in any future firmware updates? I hastily bought the DL4mkii after reading it clock synced only to later find out the delays sync but the looper does not... *sorry if this isnt the right place to post
  2. Hello All, Proud owner of way too many line 6 products. Specifically with my Variax, I am noticing some compatibility issues with certain softwares that prompted me to ensure I had both a Windows and Mac computer. I can't recall how long ago Monkey and Updater stopped being supported on Mac OS but it prompted me to go get a windows desktop (amongst other justifications for needing it). However, even the windows softwares didn't seem to allow me to do a factory reset on the Varian (a Shrunken, which has some eccentric tunings I wanted to try out). I tried referring to the manual for the tunings but seeing "BEEEEE" tuning doesn't help me know which octave each string is set to. Might just be me and this particular scenario but Stevics tunings sometime need to note which dang octave LoL. Sorry, tangent. I still think that some of these tools either need to be supported fully until there is a working replacement or compatibility needs to be addressed somehow, hence my browser suggestion. I'll just leave this note here for now. Curious if anyone else has similar experiences and very mild frustrations. Cheers, JScotty
  3. Hello, I'm new to the Helix and my band wants to do Kyrie by Mr. Mister. He has a very unique sound and I am not adept enough yet to create the sound. Any one want to take it on. Thank you!
  4. hi 1. how to create short sound without sustain hd500x 2 .how to create on ( hd500x) Buzuki sound on an electric guitar. Thanks
  5. Hello! I'm now the happy owner of a POD XT live unit, and I'm enjoying it very much. Unfortunately, I haven't found a single place (and I went through the user manual in detail) where the list of default tones is detailed. I would like to look up a document (pamphlet, card, cheat sheet, whatever), looking for the traits of the sound I'm looking for, in order to locate it easily, instead of going through all the voices, bank by bank, trying to remember (or jotting on a napkin) the ones I might be interested in. Does anyone here now of some resource that could be useful to me? Thanks in advance.
  6. I was wondering if it would be possible to add a modulation that would make the pedal work much like a tremolo bar - I know there is a simple pitch tone and that could be set to change by the pedal - but it seems it would be easier to take the guitar tone and drop it this way someone without a tremolo bar could get the effect from the Helix thanks for considering
  7. Hey Folks! So I have this one guitar solo from a japanese band called "the GazettE". Their lead guitarist has got an awesome guitar tone, which kicks lollipop in my opinion. I am trying to get my tone near to the following guitar solo, but I cant get something good out of my HD500X it. I know. That's sad. Maybe someone, who is more into their HD500X, can replicate the guitar sound? I would be really thankful, if someone is willing to do so. Since you're working on it, I will be even willing to pay you. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BbRHGe0_8sQ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z-EphIMS40A Its especially the guitar from the "second" part of the solo, which is played by the guitarist Uruha. Greetings, Nalfeyn.
  8. I often practice direct in to my computer, and it would be very helpful to have a standalone (I. E. not a plugin) version of Helix native, much like Positive Grid did with BIAS and BIAS FX. Any chance this could be a thing?

  10. I am enjoying the early days of gigging with a Firehawk. I must say that I like it a lot. Great job, Line 6! BUT.... I would like to ask Line 6 to put out a new device with these features: Something like the firehawk but: 1) Smaller. Much smaller. The Helix, HD series and Firehawk are too big. 2) Yes, I want the wah/volume pedal. 3) I don't care if I edit on PC or by bluetooth... just make it easy. 4) Like the Firehawk, but with a button that can turn on or off the amp modeling. 5) Assignable buttons - like Firehawk - but ALL can be assigned and ALL have a small screen showing what the buttons are assigned to. 6) Patches are OK, but not necesary. I would rather have ONE patch with 8 buttons where I can turn on/off the effects assigned to those buttons. 7) Did I mention - keep it SMALL?
  11. I got my first piece of line 6 gear a few days ago (Pod X3 Live, works perfectly so far) and I've taken to controlling it with gearbox for convenience. When I was doing research on it I found out that there was a third-party patch for Gearbox that would repalce the fake amp names with the orignal amp names, like in the picture. I've been searching for it for a few days now and so far every download link for it leads to a dead site. It'd be wonderful if someone who still has it could upload the Real names patch for 3.72 on here~
  12. I searched for many patches which I did not find in customtone. I am starting this topic so that many of the POD HD400 user can benefit. You can request for the HD400 patches here.
