  1. Hi totally new here I've been searching around and can't find what I think should be a simple answer in plan english. I used to have an M13 where in latch mode you can load like 12 completely different presets at once. I am looking into buying a 500X but it looks like you can only have 4 presets loaded at once with another four "assigned" pedals for the top row? Is that right? It seems limiting?
  2. When you're in latched scene mode, and you enter and then exit the looper, you're not in latched scene mode anymore...And so you have to press Loop+3A to re-enter scene mode :( This is RIDICULOUS. So after recording a loop, I have to hold in Looper, to get out of the looper, then press Loop + 3A to enter scene mode again, and then choose my scene. That's a hold press, a double press and another press just to change the sound while looping (if you're using scenes like I do). Surely this is a bug!?
  3. On the M13....It sure would be nice to find some "secret" documentation other than the Line 6 "advanced" manual with more MIDI CC#'s or better yet PC#'s that aren't in the book... Is there anything out there like this? example:: I want to be able to use 1 scene per song. I am using a voodoo lab pedal switching system running dirt boxes. Lets say each of my songs has 3 parts. An intro, verse, solo, etc. I would like to stay within that scene, switching to an entire section on each part change A, B or C. This way I could have my three parts per song and have a total of 48 songs at my disposal. (corporate coverband gigs) If this possibility doesn't exist, couldn't this feature be added in an update? I'm sure I'm not the first to think of this. Thanks.
  4. Hi all, I have a gig coming up that i am doing sound for. It is going to be a night with several different acts and a variety of instruments. I am wanting bit of advice to keep the stress to a minimum! In this situation would it be a good idea to save each band as a separate setup at the sound check?...or should i be thinking in terms of scenes? I have read other posts about the difference between the two and i'm not convinced I fully understand it. If i have everything plugged in at the start and just use scenes to set trim, levels, fx etc that might be easier than different setups? Advice welcome!! Thanks
  5. Hello, fellow M20d users :) I was just thinking on how I can achieve a short "effect shot" on the M20d without having a sound guy turning the effect on and off or switching Scenes during a song. I´m trying to do the following: For one song I need a long reverb on my percussion kit, just for 3-4 strokes on the intro, then I want to return to "normal operations" or better said my normal global settings for the groove of the song. I don´t have anybody who could turn the reverb on during the gig with the IPad, nor do I want to Switch Scens during the running song. My thought was that I maybe can "route" the reverb to an empty Encoder/channel and then just unmute this channel for the intro and mute it afterwards. Is there a way I can achive this with the M20d somehow? Yeah, I know I can turn on and off the effect on the channel myself, but I don´t want to switch away from the perform screen. So, I need to find a way to push just a button or encoder on the perform screen to turn on or off the reverb for the percussion kit.
  6. Hey guys, I use my M9 with my Timefactor slaved via MIDI. My Timefactor has 100 banks, I realized that the M9 only has 24. Seems like such a low number to me! Any chance of an upgrade soon that will take the scene amount to 100? If not is there a mod that can? Thank you so very much. -Eric
  7. I'm new to this, just bought the M9. Did anyone ever try to use two expression pedals on the M9, each for different purposes/functions? I'd like to know if it's possible to assign expression settings (like wah, volume or pitch) to expression pedal one and switch between scenes with pedal two. Meaning I want to be able to change scenes on the fly and still have expression capabilities assigned to each effect/scene. If that's not possible, what are the two expression inputs for? What do you use the two expression pedals for? Thanks for shedding some light here.
