  1. So... I bought the Spider V 120 a few days ago, and I've been creating some tones using the iOS Spider Edit app. Except for the fact that I keep losing contact with the amp (I think because the thunderbolt input on my iPhone 6 is flaky), I've managed to tweak a few tones to my liking. My question is: why doesn't Line 6 at least have a FAQ on how to use the Spider Edit app? (Or have I just been unable to find it?). It took me three days to stumble upon how to assign an expression pedal to a specific parameter (in case you don't know: by tapping twice on the parameter). I still don't know exactly where my tones are being stored (on the phone? in the cloud?). Nor do I know, except by trial and error, which stages of processing can be manually dragged to other other positions in the signal chain. I understand why Line 6 might have decided that it was just too much trouble to support both mobile device apps and Mac/PC apps, but is it really that much trouble to create a simple user guide for the mobile app? Is Line 6 really that financially stressed?
  2. Hi, Hope this gets picked up and put forward to Line6 as a suggestion. I tried with the suggestion link on the site but awaiting an account approval of some sort..just wanted to give feedback. I have a Spider IV 75w and FBV Shortboard MKII. Want to get a G50 relay at some point but they are way out of my budget. Great products though. Very impressed with the purchases and the free firmware upgrades. Hope they keep these updating for free as it was the main reason I bought the amp. Would be great to see a Spider Edit web application service either run locally on a WLAN or on the cloud. Obviously would require a USB/Wireless Lan Adapter dongle to connect to the FBV Shortboard MKII USB "B" port connection and initial configuration to connect to the server IP address. I have an Android tablet and would prefer the ability to use that than connect to another computer in an office running Windows 7 when my guitar and amp are in the shed normally. Surely this can be achieved with HTML 5. Just a thought and hope this makes it's way to the suggestions box for some positive feedback to Line 6. Cheers, Alkay.
  3. I have not been able to install spider edit on Mavericks.. has anybody been able to do this?
