  2. Line 6 is happy to announce that we are now making beta testing for our products available to the public! Now the general public can access our Beta Teams page, create a profile, and be considered to be selected for a beta team. To sign up, go to your account page at line6.com/account. Under the "Info and Preferences" menu, click on the Beta Teams link, and fill out the profile. NOTE: Creating a beta profile does not mean you have been accepted into a beta team. It means you are now entered into the pool of users that are ELIGIBLE TO BE CHOSEN FOR A BETA TEAM. IMPORTANT: IF you are chosen for a beta team, you will receive a follow up email sometime in the future that will instruct you to review and agree to the Non-Disclosure Agreement and beta testing agreements. If you accept, this means you cannot discuss the beta anywhere outside of the beta portal. If you do, you will be immediately removed from the beta test program and you will not be allowed to participate in any betas going forward. The Process: 1. Go to line6.com and log into your account. 2. Access the Beta Teams page on the left side or from the account drop down menu seen below. 3. Click "Create Beta Profile". 4. Complete the form and click "Save" at the bottom of it. 5. You will see "Success" at the top of the page.
  3. Hi. I'm having trouble with my Helix Control. When i booted my rack unit up yesterday, the control also booted up in LCD Test mode. It switches between this and Update mode but never reverts back to presets. The rack is recognising this as having not been updated. I clicked update but it does nothing and just keep repeating, asking to update. I can't seem to get it out of the test mode so any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. Picture for reference
  4. Some Android mobile devices do not fully support "USB Host mode", which is required for the Spider V Remote app to communicate with Spider V amplifiers. We have found that a free third party utility app called "USB Host Diagnostics" reliably identifies potential issues with USB Host mode support. This tutorial will guide you through the process. Access the Google Play store and search for "USB Host Diagnostics" made by a developer called "Chainfire". The app is offered free of charge. Download and install it. Launch "USB Host Diagnostics". The screen should look like this: Locate the "Start diagnostics" text and tap it to start. The app will ask you to disconnect USB devices. Disconnect any USB devices and click the OK button. The diagnostic process will start and the app will ask you to connect a USB device such as a laptop or a USB thumb drive. After a few seconds the process completes and you will be asked to upload results. Uploading is appreciated, but not necessary. On the final screen you will be able to see the test results. Scroll down to locate the "Verdict" section. In order for your Android device to work with Spider V, "OS" must report "Yes", and "3rd party apps" must report "Full".
  5. Check it out :) it still has awesome features that hold up today imo
