  1. Good Day Everyone. Been recording with my pedal successfully for years using the USB out on the pedal. Need to start recording using a 2nd DI box track but have not purchased one or small interface yet. I have an older P.C. with no capture card. Just USB and the standard 1/8" audio and video jacks Can you record your tone track and a separate plain tone track simultaneously to two tracks(on your recording software) from the line 6 pedal using just the USB out? If not Opt#1(without DI box) just interface Is it possible you can send the tone signal via (1/4" out) to an interface, then send a separate signal via (XL out) to the interface, then to the P.C to record on two different tracks? Or will i have to buy both the Interface and the DI box to accomplish this? Any incite will be greatly appreciated. Cheers Rick
  2. hey everyone I'm a guitarist who records with my Line 6 UX1 and POD Farm, and I'm looking for someone to do some drum tracks for me. A drummer or someone who can program drums for an online collaboration for 2 or 3 songs, even if its programmed drums or a MIDI file I can edit that would work as well, and I'm willing to pay. I'm recording some originals and covers in Reaper and I need drum tracks for the songs. Hard rock/metal songs for now probably one original and one cover. You need to be able to record your drums in your home studio or studio with good quality and be able to send the tracks to me over the internet so I can record guitar with what you played! Please let me know! E-Mail me we can talk over email, facebook, or by phone. It doesn't matter where you live. Here's some other songs I did with my band, Caidema, to show you the kind of style I play in: • https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=spt0o80FLgs and • https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qsq_CkjG52k Thank You -Matt • MatthewIan84@gmail.com • www.Facebook.com/CaidemaBand • www.Facebook.com/Mattianalbano
  3. Hi, I have just ordered the M20d mixer, but before it arrives I want to prep my backing track files for it. I bought the M20d mixer to have more control over our backing tracks. I am planning to run the backing tracks from my MacBook Pro (clean audio stems exported from my Logic Projects). I want to set the mixer up as if my backing tracks were "real" instruments. My question is: do I just export my stems with added compression, eq etc. or should I export without them. My concern is that fx the bass drum preset in M20d will double process the sound, fx EQ. What do you guys do? Sincerely Niels
  4. Hello all, Currently, I have been recording some songs on my UX2 and everything is turning out pretty good. The program I'm using at the moment is GarageBand (might get Reaper) and I have questions regarding the program and recording. 1) How do I go about recording vocals and guitar at the same time BUT on separate tracks? (if that makes any sense at all, the weird diagram down there should 'hopefully' explain my objective). |Guitar|~~~~~~~ |Vocals|~~~ ~~ 2) What my problem is, is that I record the both the guitar and vocals but the two come out on the same track. I have even tried making a separate track (like the diagram up there) and I still get the same result. What am I doing wrong and what do I need to fix? Multi-tracking didn't work either but I assume I'd still need to multi-track if I'm going to record vocals and guitar at the same time, right? 3) I usually mic up the guitar as well, but am I better off just putting the guitar into the UX2's input? If there is a link that answers this question, by all means share. Thank you in advance :)
