Does anyone else experience lack of accuracy with the Helix on board tuner? I cant get a solid guitar tune with the Helix tuner at all. Below is a process of how I have checked them. On the helix, I have the tuner set to standard 440 pitch, and on my Boss TU-3 I have the same settings. The TU-3 accurately tunes my guitars, but the Helix is off by about -3cents on the some of the higher strings. There is no offsets, and the tuner is set to Guitar. Any ideas? Is this a known issue?

I am covering songs in which the musicians are not tuned to A440, but different frequencies, e.g. 450, almost right between A and A# in standard tuning, and that prevents me from using the tuner to tune, and just use one of the pitch shifters blocks, AFAICS. Is there any way to have a pitch shift referencing a different base A frequency ?

Title basically. Ever since I have had the HXS, the tuner does not work if the HXS is connected to my computer in an interface mode. It is fine when connected via USB, but, NOT as an interface. The moment the computer recognizes it as an interface, the tuner goes bonkers and runs around not recognizing any note/pitch. Is this by design or should I be doing something to correct for this? Thanks.

Hey line 6! First want to say I love your products, they have really opened doors for me in many ways gigging wise and session wise. I only have one request as of right now. For the tuner multi-input... Can we upgrade this to include all four returns within the multi input of the tuner? Most gigs I run a minimum of two guitars, and when I go to tune I have to Ensure to bend down and switch the input from multi to return X. I know that's a small problem, but in the heat of battle every second/mis step matters! Thanks

So A couple weeks ago I noticed my helix floor isn’t reading my taps correctly. To be specific; every time I’m playing a song, the first tap almost always jumps up to 240bpms. I have to give it a couple of taps to get it closer to what I’m playing it. I’ve read that the tap tempo on the helix isn’t the best. However it wasn’t this bad when I first got it. Please help. The tuner seems to work fine.

Hello everyone :) I am very happy with my Helix for now, but I am still facing a problem. Here it is. My SM58 MIC for my voice is connected into the mic input of the Helix. Then, my vocal chain gets out through the XLR output (mono) to the PA. My VARIAX guitar is plugged into the Variax input of the Helix. Then, my guitar chain gets out through the 1/4" output (mono) directly to the PA as well. When I am using the tuner, I would like my guitar to be silent but my voice to be still audible (to keep talking to the audience). I have tried all the possible combinations with the settings appearing in the tuner menu, but none of them fits my goal. Do you have any idea to fix that problem please ? Thank you in advance for your help and have a good day :) Guillaume

Hi there, sorry for this beginners' question but I am trying to send a mono signal to FOH and the same signal to a tuner effects pedal. I figured that 1) the built in tuner is too slow and 2) makes a crackling noise when turning it on and off. I was going to send XLR out to FOH and line out to the tuner. My questions: Does this work or are there drawbacks? Does this make even sense or is there a better solution? Thank you very much!

I play bass guitar through a Helix Stomp and recently added a Sennheiser Evolution Wireless Digital instrument set to my live setup (LINK to what that is: https://www.guitarcenter.com/Sennheiser/EW-D-Evolution-Wireless-Digital-System-with-CI1-Instrument-Cable-Q1-6-1500000339492.gc?storeCode=&source=4WWMWXGL&gclid=Cj0KCQjwlK-WBhDjARIsAO2sErR4iue2DwqVQKA5DhR-8bNieH1Kb-4tiLocBO63nI5-QMQ1MVM4N4YaApluEALw_wcB). The Sennheiser plugs into the mono input of the Stomp, and the Stomp has an output that goes into our power amp. When we rehearsed and played a show with our own setup, everything worked perfectly. But when we played a venue that had their own setup, I had an issue where sound was coming through when I was tuning even though I have it on mute. This didn't happen with our own setup so I was wondering why at the venue the mute was being bypassed. Does anyone have any ideas on what would be causing this and how I can fix it?

So I just got my Helix and I'm thoroughly loving it aside from one detail: the tuner is positioned at the very end of the chain and, thus, kills all sound coming from the unit, including and reverb and/or delay trails. I am aware that I can change the output so that it keeps the volume going, but that doesn't help because then I can't tune silently. I basically need a way to change where the tuner is in my signal path. Is there any way to do this or am I to be relegated back to using a Snark?? Thanks!

Is there a way to change the preset while the tuner is on? Live, between 2 songs, I switch the tuner on and would like to change the preset while the sound is muted in the tuner mode. But I can't find a way to do this...

Hi everyone! Hope you´re doing well! I play my guitar and sing in my band and therefore I have my effects pedals on the left side and switch them with my left foot. I want the HX Stomp to be on the left side of my other pedals, so I need to put the Tap/Tuner to FS1 in order to have the rest of the switches in a row (FS2, FS3, Wah, Fuzz etc...) Is there any way to customize the tap/tuner to be on FS1 instead of FS3? Thanks a lot in advance!

HX stomp XL For me the red blinking footswitch ring is disturbing. I never use the TAP function. I am looking for a solution to switch off the blinking and want to use this footswitch only for switching on the tuner.

In order to save my three footswitches for my three snapshots I am looking for a solution to access the stomp tuner. I want to avoid having to use additional foot switches. My "Forscore" App is able to send MIDI commands. Is there a way to access the HX Stomp tuner via MIDI? I could not find any clues in the manual.

Hey Ladies and Gentlemen, very happy HX Stomp user atm. But since I don't need the tap tempo function for my current live sets, I'm asking myself if there is a way to assign the FS3 to something like "Tuner Only", where I don't need to hold the Switch to get access to the tuner. Holding down the footswitch costs several seconds which can be annoying during the short breaks inbetween songs during a gig. Thanks so much in advance rakali

Hello, well everything was working fine on my pod xt live, until one day I need to tune my guitars.... I press the tuner button for more than 2 secs and nothing happened, so I starting to deal with the problem and discover that pushing "OUTPUT MODE" and then turn clock wise the select button, the tuner appears. Can somebody tell me how can i put back the tuner to the pedal again? Thanks beforehand

Hey, I updated to 2.90 then immediately updated to 2.91 but my tuner is still not working properly. There is a 4-5 second lag from what I play into it and what it displays. What should I do?? Thanks

Hey all, Two weeks into using the HX Effects, my first ever multi-effects pedal in 30 years of playing. Loving it so far, particularity its small form factor. My only complaint is the tuner. It is fantastic, but I don't like that it is assigned to the TAP button requiring you to hold it down for what is probably only a second to activate, but in a fast paced gig environment it feels like ten seconds. I've done a bit of a search and there doesn't appear to be any way around this but thought I'd check on here if anyone has a tip. I personally don't use the tap function so I would be happy if it could be disabled so that hitting the button would immediately turn on the tuner. Otherwise I may have to start bringing my Peterson, but that's a pain. Thank you to anyone who may have a work around.

There is a problem existing where there wasn't before. The issue is on my Helix Floor, without making any changes that would permit this, when I'm in tuning mode it is not cutting the signal completely. I get a clear audible signal coming through. It worked properly and then for no reason of mine it is not working as it should.

My Helix is allowing a signal through my tuner all of the sudden where it wasn't before hand. Nothing was changes settings wise. I tried restarting the unit and the problem persists. Any thoughts on what is happening here?

Hi, After I updated firmware on my Stomp (from 2.65 I think to the newest) the tuner has been acting up. Every time I hit a string, the tuner jumps to a D for a split second. If I let the string ring out it stays on the right note, so seems it only happens when I hit the string. Doesn't matter which note I play, the tuner jumps to a D. Anyone else experienced this?

It would be nice if we had a function to have a tuner always on in a scribble strip of the TAP or the pedal strip. just a simple one like in the G70 wireless. Pretty handy for live use when you feel one string is a little out of tune and you have no time to mute for tuning. fast and no dropout of guitar playing. wen in tune the scribble strip invert the b/w color

Hi guys, I don't know what is it that I'm doing but I don't seem to be able assign the FS3 to an effect (reverb in this case) I can select the effect in the FS selector of the patch but it doesn't change from tuner/tap to the actual selected effect in the actual foot witch. Is there something I need to do in the main settings to activate/deactivate this and get rid of the default FS3 setting? thanks in advance

There's a bug with my firehawk in which the tuner toggles out without me pressing any button on the firehawk. Is this a software problem? Can I get some help? I'm using the latest flash firmware too. V1.30.00

Just a short question. I don't use the tap button, but i often use the mute/tuner. Is it possible to configure the HX effects that a simple tap on the tap/tuner/mute switch will engage the tuner/mute?
